We had a President that was against this, that wanted a wall. Now, we’re giving free housing, food, phones, healthcare, paid job training and even higher education, and the list goes on! I’m not sharing my opinion on social; however, I am stating a fact. I’m not going to comment on what I think would happen if just one or two families left this group and went down the road a few miles and found another way in. I’m not saying that’s right, but say it’s what happened… they’d get the above. I also see many comments here saying these people should fight for their country and try to make it right… well, I don’t see Americans standing up to our government and doing what is right. Look at what is happening to our own country right now! We are about to have no religious freedoms, and no democracy anymore, all because we aren’t using our own voice. One world government and one world religion. That’s what we’re headed for. Oh, and a cashless society, all while we are being monitored the entire time. I hope this is what you want. Personally, I won’t be here. Maranatha! ?️???

I have a theory, but no direct evidence. I suspect that some move back to their home country because they never really intended to live in Canada, they just wanted a Canadian passport as an insurance policy in case things went badly in their country of origin. \n\nDo you know anything about whether that happens, and if it does happen, how often? What proportion of the people who move back does it account for?

I don’t want to send messed up, I come from Mexican dissent, I know these people want to live a better life give their kids a better life. And I know they’re poor can’t afford documentation to get a visa and then apply for a citizenship. It’s hard to get. I understand my parents went through this but it did it the right way. But I don’t agree that they should be bomb rushin the border. And putting the kids in danger. Because it’s just not a Paso that they have a cross they still have like three other check points one going Deming Nm The other one is by Las Cruces or T or C NMI \nAnd the other ones by a white sounds nm

I bought my house about 6 years ago now, if iI didnt buy my house the very month i did i wouldn't of been able to buy it. I bought it for 135,500$ a month later the intrest rate went up pricing me out, a year later townhouses in my area went up 50k houses in my area and now they're sitting at 4-500k thanks Trudeau.

I'm a Canadian living in the UK now. I love Canada with every piece of my heart but couldn't see myself ever being anything other than working poor there. I went to college but couldn't get a job in my field so had to take whatever minimum wage I could get, couldn't afford rent let alone buying a property so moved in with my parents and there isn't any support from the government for average citizens, only if you're an immigrant, disabled etc. I'm not against helping immigrants, disabled people or those that need it, just sucks that if you don't fall into certain categories it means you'll always struggle in your minimum wage job.\nLife in the UK isn't perfect but I was able to find a decent job here, the public transit is actually usable, phone plans and other bills/groceries tend to be cheaper and the working conditions are significantly better. Like I get 32 paid days off a year in my average job which is just wild to me! In Canada my sister who is a police officer only gets 15 days off a year and that's a lot compared to other people, like I never use to get any paid time off at my previous jobs. I miss parts of living in Canada but for the time being the UK is making my life a lot easier.

Hi, \nafter hearing this “exposé” I understand that it is the same in any developed country. There is no point of moving from one country to another when tax paying is not thought of. Remember labour is the one that builds and develops a country. One has to strategise before relocating, unless for most immigrants that manage to do it surprisingly as from many applications they did, one just went through and it is a success to go. Then, they just move to really win that opportunity although they haven’t strategise or prepare themselves financially. I learnt that in life, we pay as we live; nothing is for free.

This is Biden's America. \nI visited some relatives in California(San Jose) recently and the place is full of Mexicans.\nIn Trump's America this would not happen.\nWhile there I went into San Francisco and the place is full of homeless Americans.\nIn Trump's America I'm sure the plight of Americans would be a priority.\nMAGA !!

Id love to see how these men react if we went to the middle east if we harrassed and persecuted their people for things we disagree with in OUR country? No matter that its their cultural birthground and they have every right to hold whatever belief thats stood for thousands of years with them, if they can harass our people for their life choices we should be able to fucking abolish their precious little cube and holy buildings if they think they can become missionaries and turn entire neighbourhoods into muslim ethnostates

Don't come here! Since Trudeau it went to SHIT!!! Totally overpriced in every regard. Cost of living through the roof. Total media control by the liberal government. Stay away as far as you can!!!

As a lifelong Canadian, agree 100% with you, this place went nuts last 3 years and has many other problems as well. Canada is trading on it;s name which is long since peaked and Canada doesn;t seem to figure that people have options and will go where they're treated best.

You invaded their country and benefited from their resources. This is your karma Americans for not speaking up for them. It was all cool when you were enjoying the benefit of your country destabilizing their country and stealing their resources but now that they r coming where their resources went you wanna cry ?

Canada went from maple syrup to chicken tikka masala??

The problem is there is no diversification. We're still primarily a raw minerals resource based economy at the whims of markets and trends. (namely the world is switching off oil), China produces it's own Rape Seeds (Canola) and also outmanuvered us. We need to diversify and modernize. We just blown a decade and billions of dollars on oil and gas pipelines that nobody wants. \n\nWe've also failed to intergrate Indigenous government's economies and they went and did their own deals. Like Blackfoot nations dealing with Japan for food and livestock feed, and other growing Indigenous nations.

A lot of single family homes are being sold to large corporations and the price is getting driven up in America QE quantitative, easing cheap money bonds that was given out by the federal government. A lot of that money went to buying housing rentals driving up the cost with no intention on ever selling. It’s a steady flow of income they got the money for free. 0 % now the people that dose have a home the layoffs will create a downturn that will cost more people, their homes, large corporations, or buy the rest of them leave them people either homeless or slaves to the system forever

Things went down hill after China put JT in power?

We have a leader who seems to be deeply invested in shutting down our oil and gas industry. He shut down oil and gas. Which put hundreds of people out of work. Then he slapped us with a carbon tax. He told us the carbon tax dollars would be invested toward producing green energy projects and manufacturing jobs. So far, the Carbon tax went up again, he banned plastic straws, he’s hitting our farmers with heavy restrictions on fertilizer, because it’s not green enough. \nMany of our indigenous communities have been living for years with contaminated water. He promised he was going to ensure the indigenous communities have access to clean drinking water. He has not fulfilled that promise. \nHe’s bidding $30 billion dollars to hopefully sign a deal to manufacture electric car batteries for Volkswagen. \nHe’s investing in other projects, as well. Unfortunately, he’s only investing in eastern provinces. \nSo far, there has been no investments in western provinces yet. Many of the out of work oil and gas workers in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba are still waiting on the jobs they were promised. \nLow wages, high inflation, high taxes and high income housing is bringing a lot of us to our knees. \nOur leader is corrupt. It seems like every week there is another corrupt scandal he and his government are involved in. \nI can’t speak for every Canadian, but I can say with absolute certainty that a large number of us are sick and tired of our current leader. Most of us live with the hope that if our leader can get voted out. Canada may have a chance to go back to the way our beautiful country used to be.

How is it going in Calgary so far? I once had to make a choice between AU & CA. I am glad I went for the latter. But Calgary, my home city now, is one of the best in the world with 333 days of sunshine?

When Trump called it a mass invasion the race baiters went crazy with bullshit lies. No country just let's everyone in their country freely and if our government don't protect our borders, we as people should. An army of people from a country or countries that want us destroyed could have gotten thousands if not tens of thousands of soldiers in out. Country by now. Just\n Luke the Trojan horse and Troy. We are doomed if the people don't unite. All races in America need to open their eyes and see that their is us, the 99 percent and then there is the 1 percent that see us all as enemies. How can 1 percent control the 99 percent. By division. Divide and conquer. Better get woke for real. Not the woke they feed the masses in the media

My father moved to Canada as a five-year-old shortly after WW2… shortly after that, when he was 12, he moved to the US with my grandparents to make more $$.. shortly after that, Vietnam broke out and believe it or not people in the country on work visas, children got drafted…so my father went to beautiful British Columbia where I was born.. and thank God my dad disobeyed American orders or I wouldn’t exist…☝????

All the the benefits you talk about, UK was like that before, but a lot of people come here to abuse all these benefits. Nigerians and few other countries have committed havoc in this UK. I went to University for free in this UK and with benefits. Any where Nigerians go some of them will surely abuse the privileges.

That’s happening because USA ruined South America \nEverywhere USA went they created misery and war
2023-04-10 0
From 2001 - 2021 trillion$ we're made in profits from the Afghanistan war alone. The profits went to members of Congress, defense contractors, and investors. Nothing went to the American people or even to the nation's infrastructure. The American people's taxes funded those profits. The US government destabilized the Venezuelan government, stole that nation's funds which they entrusted to US banks, then placed sanctions on them because they refused to allow a US puppet regime to run their nation. What's happening at the border is blowback from situations created by corrupt and incompetent US politicians. Our worst enemy isn't some foreign nations. Our worst enemy is on Capitol Hill and Wall Street.

Damn it’s just pitiful. Look at those women crying tryin to get here it’s heartbreaking but you have to come correctly. Im an American my wife is Vietnamese we had to wait for a year for her to get here. They went up my ass with a telescope. They wanted to know my job. How long I’ve been there. My taxes for the last 3 years. My credit. My housing. My criminal record. Everything we didn’t have a problem but it took a long time.

Venezuelans never tip people from what I hear *******\nAlways ask for discount from what I hear *********\nIs this part of the culture?\nThe same way other cultures have no tips in their restaurants??? \nIs it like when you go to Greece, haggling prices are normal shopping?\nI lived in Venezuela for small time and it was before everything went south. I was younger and didn't really know if that was a thing.

Great job but you only talked about the skilled people or professionals. Please, if you have information, kindly talk about people who went to Canada illegally. How do they survive and how do they find their pathway to a residence permit.
2023-04-07 0
Venezuelans are desperate because the country went from riches to rags and everyone there is hungry.

The one that went to go to another country they need to do it to write way.. I'm American my wife is fun to Philippines. We filled out all the paperwork and my wife Took the citizen test and she passed. That's the way you should post to do it. Not this walk a Cross . We need fences in the United States to stop all that. Not just because of the Ones have trying to cheat and get here also the terrace..

Venezuelans didn’t believe their country would go socialist, they went from one of the richest South American country to this. It can happen to any country, let’s not allow it to happen in the USA, Canada and others!

What would be so nice would be for us to follow the law. I know that's a strange concept recently, but that would help a great deal. If not, then send Kamala and Joe to the border to handle it themselves. Yeah, I know, I went a bit loony for a moment.

I don't know why big going crazy get to America. Everything too expensive and too damn high. Five years ago and went on a trip to to Mexico and it got all kind of merchandise in Mexico I don't know why they trying to leave all that good stuff

Hurts me seeing these people like this but I do not approve any of it nobody should enter any country illegally \n\nI was 12 when my mom and dad left for the US \nthey both left when I was 12 and my brother 14 \nLeft us by ourselves in a third world country sending us 100$ a month to survive \n\nso I waited and waited for 8 god damn long years \nfor me to get a stupid interview that was done in 5 minutes with me barely saying any words. \n8 years it took me just to get a interview with the U.S. embassy \n\nYeah that needs to change obviously \n\nBut when I look at this people I only get disgusted and reminded how much bs I had went trough not being able to have my mom and dad near me as a kid because we went on the “right” path

Call it what you want, but people who claim to be high and mighty Christians should remind themselves of the struggles of Joseph, Mary and Jesus’. The holy family’s experience is one of flight, hiding, refuge and seeking asylum in a foreign country where they could be welcomed by fellow Jews. After they felt it was safe they return, and even then they went to Nazareth to escape the eyes of powerful men. In his later years Jesus spoke truth to power. Demonizing immigrants doesn’t follow the teachings of the Bible. \nSeriously get off your high horse and stop moaning a groaning and be apart of the solution.

It's like the USA, Canada, and Australia are all siblings. \nThe USA is the hyperactive son that just wandered off one day and hasn't come back yet.\n \nCanada is the son that is the straight laced respectful one.\n\nAnd Australia is the one that went to juvie But the parents still love them.
