Sault Ste Marie has had an influx of East Indian students in the last 8 years, and now thx to Trudeau, it looks like a suburb of India. Young Saultites now have to compete for jobs without success. Go to the local KFC where all the employees are East Indian and speaking a foreign language behind the counter. This is not my hometown. I celebrate and welcome diversity but this is overkill!

Problem is that this strategy is back-firing because to support the influx the government needs the private sector to support these massive numbers in housing, hiring, infrastructure etc. That is not happening becase the same Liberals are driving government debt through the roof and printing money causing runaway inflation; impacting everyone. As a result, the immigrants don’t want to stay and the citizens want the Liberals to go with them.

This was Trudeau’s fault, remember when he said everyone is welcome, when you bring in over a million people with all the issues named by Mr Lilley you have to wonder. Hi, just want you all to know you are not welcome. Every other culture in Canada does not want you here, even older generation Indians. You will not find a job as companies will hire every other race before indians. A slow white will be hired before the most gifted Indian. Canadians expect generosity in exchange for what they offer in return. As an immigrant, I don't expect to fully belong in their world. Though part of the Commonwealth and outwardly welcoming, Canada, like travel and entertainment, may not exceed the comforts of home for immigrants.

It is not just immigrants that are leaving Canada, but Canadian citizens too. On another note, I will say that Toronto overall is not friendly and now is antisemitic. And as someone who is Jewish, the antisemitism in my former hometown is shocking. Canada as a whole and in particular its cities, we Jews are not welcome. Have you witnessed the anti Jewish demonstrations lately? It is travesty that newcomers to Canada should experience that. That alone would send someone packing. Why did you not mention that?
