No Offence to anyone but when you applied to come here as a student or tfw you had to prove and swear that you will go back home once your studies or work permit is done , its a part of the cbsa and irrc questioning if your protesting you are breaking the rules and laws of your visa and you are subject to deportation because you lied to immigration and the cbsa , i lived in another country for 3 years during covid i could stay up to 3 years with my visa , my last renewal the officer told me sir this is the last renewal you will have to leave so that is what i did i respected the laws of the host country and went home , i feel sorry the students were lied to by the schools the government and THEIR own People telling them they will get pr give us 20k-30k cdn $ but thats not our problem .... vet the agencies yourself before applying , come here legally and there is no issue , but don't think our country has to give you pr or CITIZONSHIP just because you spent allot of money or worked here pr and CITIZONSHIP is a privilege NOT A RIGHT , when you had the interview with immigration and the cbsa what did you Promise i will leave didn't you ? time to start packing like i did go home and better your country with the knowledge you go from here if you dont break the rules you can always come back Legally god bless and good luck

I am a third generation Canadian and i have been a successful investor and am a millionaire. Things are pretty great in Canada if you have money. I suppose leaving for a tax free haven is something to consider but people would be surprised how tolerable things in Canada are when you have money. For example, if the weather is too cold then go live in the Caribbean for a few months. If health care is a problem then go buy health care from private medical care or go to the US for healthcare. More people should try and become wealthy by taking advantage of how the financial pros operate on Wall Street. It is relatively easy but you do need to read a lot of reports and books. A lot of problems that people perceive in Canada go away when you have a bit of money.??

I was born in Canada when my father was here on a temporary workpermit. But he took us back to India and that is where I grew up and completed my UG to return back to Canada. After comming back I completed my Masters and PhD and Post-doctoral studies. again I relocated back to India and lived there for another 6 years and then I moved to US. But again I moved back to Saskatoon, Canada just recently. Because I realised that Canada is the best place to live. Now I am not going anywhere else. Will live here until my last breath.

Germany needs to offer jobs in English and in general switch the society to English. Nobody is gonna come from abroad if they have to learn German. They might as well go to the US if they are skilled, and receive higher wages.

Trying to destroy America and us right along with it what are we going to do about this? I'm 54 years old and i moved away from my beautiful Canada over 2 years ago. I knew when Eastern Welfare Canada voted in Turdo that he would destroy it and put us in debt like every Liberal government does. I hope everyone who voted this POS in office is enjoying the high prices and the struggles you are going through everyday, because its here to stay for the next decade as that POS will leave Canada after leaving office with 100's of millions he has stolen from us. Maybe next, you will use your brain cells and vote in something who actually cares about the country.

I feel bad for those who were duped into coming here to Canada. They had big dreams of becoming successful here, instead not being able to do that and being forced to live in cramped accommodations. I work in healthcare, and a lot of people who work in the facility in which I'm employed were brought here from the Philippines and India, mostly. Some were hired directly by this employer, while others came here some other way. Those with professions like being an RN were under the impression that it wouldn't take that long or be that difficult to get their Canadian certification to work as RNs here. Instead, they found out that the process for that here in Canada is a lot tougher and takes a lot longer than they'd been led to believe. So many are left not being able to use their education to its fullest, instead working as care aides until they can get the proper certification. I know that this has also happened with doctors and engineers and to many in other professions for which they went to school for years. It's a real shame.\n\nThis massive influx of people coming from other countries, though, has been really tough on those of us who were already living here. It's been way too many people, and we just weren't prepared. It's been one of the biggest factors in the huge increase of cost of living and, of course, it's by far the reason we have an enormous housing shortage.\n\nI'm not completely anti-immigration, but I think that it needs to be stopped, at least for a while. Let us deal with what's going on now instead of bringing in more people that would only help to make things worse, through no fault of their own. There's no reason that we need to have more people coming here right now. We have way more than enough people here right now.

I have worked in Australia, Europe - UK and Germany before moving to the US for my master's degree and worked there for many years. Then moved to India and then to Canada. If you are a tech worker, there is no country in the world more accepting than the United States. Period. \nIn US, people respect your talent than what ethnic background or linguistic background you have. People are more tolerant and accepting, and even let you go up the ladder. Thats why many Indian CEO are leaving US companies while Americans don't mind. \nEuropeans and Australians are the most racist people I have encountered, who have little to no empathy even towards highly skilled workers paying heavy tax in their county. \nIt is better to work for your whole life in the United States on work visa, than living in Australia/Europe/Canada as their citizens.

My US work permit got approved yesterday! Ive lived in Canada for 29 years but it started going steeply downhill around 2018 and the 2 years of covid were rough. I miss it a lot but the costs and constant fear of getting my house and car broken into, as well as watching my tax dollars go down the drain has been tough. It's all about genetics. If you are short, ugly and physically weak (vast majority of Indian men), racism will automatically follow you. Improve your genetics, Indian people. Arranged marriages have destroyed your genetics where a person that looks like a donkey and just as smart can find a partner via an arranged marriage and reproduce their bad genes. In my country, for a man to find a partner, we have to go to the gym, we have to physically look good, learn to defend ourselves, educate ourselves, get high paying jobs etc to find a partner. An Engineering degree won't automatically get us a partner here, we have to look good and fight for the women's love. Ugly, short, weak men who can't defend themselves, they don't get to find a partner and they die off and their weak genes die off with them. Sometimes if they are ugly and weak but super rich they will find a wife but that's a rare case. Indians haven't kept up with world standard genetics of strength, height, looks, physical ability. They have always relied on Maths and Science degrees and overseas high paying jobs to find a partner and be respected. Guess what, my neighbor is 6 foot 2 inches in height, he goes to the gym, works hardand when he walks down the street, everyone respects him and talks nicely to him and he doesn't need an Engineering degree to get that respect. He works in a factory but the world respects him because of good genetics and he can beat you up if you say anything to him. It's his good genetics that get's him respect. I have ugly, short and weak Indian friends and they get racial attacks all the time. I also have good looking, tall and strongly built Indian friends and they don't experience racism. It's all in your genetics. So stop reproducing weak genes and let them die off and in 50 - 70 years, Indian genetics will improve with tall, strong good looking men and women and your desirability overseas will improve meaning you could go anywhere in the world and be respected, you wouldn't have to do Engineering and Math based courses to balance off bad genetics or to get respect etc. You would be able to get service based jobs with little education with good genetics, like Realestate Agent, Management, Customer Service roles, Business roles etc. Not just stuck in a computer lab crunching numbers like most Indian men going overseas do now.

Most of Chinese students would apply to top tier university and majors only, if they didn't got in they switch to other countries like AU or UK, US or just go back to china. However a lot of indians doesn't care about the college rating or even major, they just came here to work anyway.

It is very expensive to live in Canada aside from Healthcare everything has become super expensive , Immoving back to my country of birth ,the Philippines, yes it going to take adjustment because if is a poor country , but having no mortgage and have a house and hobby farm I'm sure I will be fine, fresh fruits and vegetables right in my property. I immigrated to Canada in 1992 from Eastern Europe and had job in high tech which enabled me to move to US in 1998. \nEven though I went back on occasions to Canada to visit friends, had no idea that things changes for worst so much over years. Why don’t we dive into the real problem, foreign investors gobbling up the housing market . 36% percent of ontario condos are owned by investors, up to 80 percent in many Toronto neighbourhoods. Millionaires , usually foreign, eating up entire neighbourhoods and jacking up the prices purposely, just as they did in Vancouver. Finding ways to surpass China’s taxing regulations by buying up our housing market here and making bank. How are people overlooking this ? Don’t you see the bigger picture ? They want you to simply blame “the immigrants” but we have a MUCH bigger issue here, but most people at the top that are supposed to advocate for us are getting paid off, so they aren’t going to talk about this

I had to flee Ukraine while leaving there as an US citizen, and I just didn't want to go back to the US. I tried Germany, Slovakia and NL as alternate, and ended up in Switzerland. TEN THOUSAND to go to a commercial drivers (truck driver) school in Canada? Can someone from Can confirm that? In the US at a community college it would cost about 1-3K. You can also get some Gov Grants to attend truck driving (CDL) community college? It cant be 10K?

a lot of people are talking like this but ya know what\n\nWe still have amazing and free health care\nEverytime I go to the grocery store I can get everything under the sun\nWe have a good main highway , I know its not perfect but for the most part I can drive accross the entire 4000km country\nI have a decent paying job, and yes rents expensive ~ but with proper budgeting it is possible\nWe have ocean views on each side of our country, all the first world stores and options.\n\nI think there is a lot of room to improve, but globally countries are all facing inflation, corrupt poltics, drug abuse .. and yes a lot of our mandates are way out of whack\n\nBut I still feel living in Canada is a dream, but not in the big city - thatss for sure !\n\nCook for yourself at home, get ride of all those monthly payments for apps\nStop travelling so much, find an affordable and simple vehicle you can pay off\nWork hard, work as much as you can, dont shop or buy expensive things ..\n\nBuild a garden, show up to your job, find something that pays you for what you know..\n\nThe dream is still alive in some of us ! Lived in the US for 4 years and bought 5 rental properties in my home country. Now I'm retired at the age of 34. It was the best decision I have ever made. I am now building a business and want to expand to Canada for my actual retirement. Im my experience as a German the “unskilled” foreigners usually learn German pretty fast while the “skilled” somehow expect that everything needs to be in English. I get that learning languages can be hard, I speak 3 and am currently learning Portuguese. But it’s just a necessity if you really want to live in a place for a longer time. I haven’t yet visited a country where once you leave the urban areas you get along well with English. I’m often shocked how little German a lot of people speak that have been working here for years. If I go to Brazil for example I don’t expect everything to be in English, I try to make use of my little Portuguese and am grateful for people that do speak english. I think a lot of the issues stem from comparing Germany to UK, US, Canada that are native English countries. Or small countries like the Netherlands that have to use English as a primary language in many businesses because there are just not enough dutch speakers.

I’m a Korean American who has lived here my entire life since birth. I have lived in many other places and the thing about immigrants is they ALWAYS share the same traits wherever they go. \nI live in an affluent area and whenever the immigrants from poor countries come in they all do the same things…throw trash and litter everywhere, the attitude of “I made it just like you therefore I deserved to be treated like a king”..telling them to turn down the music at 2am and not understanding why so instead you are met with argumentative resistance instead of them just saying “hey we’re sorry won’t happen again, we don’t want to be that guy in this neighborhood. Our apologies” but nope. They continue to do it night after night and the audacity to even get angry. The crowding of all of their families in disrepspectful ways such as cutting in line while everyone else is patiently waiting, if there is free samples of food, they will group up and annihilate whatever they are offering not even caring about anyone else but their own. Leaving a very bad image for us East Asians when people from the red flag dragon nation come in droves. Being extremely loud in public while talking about petty nonsensical things most times but they yell and laugh not caring whoever else is around. Even if the room is quiet they have zero situational awareness, never putting things back when they grab them from stores or gym etc. they expect someone to pickup and do this for them. The entitlement ?….if something is on sale they don’t understand to take just one or two, they have to take the entire box so no one else can get it. \nI his list never ends and they don’t understand why people don’t want them living in their countries. So agree with you Alina! We came to Canada from Ukraine in 2009, we were around the same age you are now. We came to Saskatchewan, settled happily in Saskatoon and we really liked this city despite harsh winters. Unfortunately, bcos of rising living costs, homelessness, and addictions issues happening in a city right now, had to move to a smaller city in SK in 2021. Realizing, we made the right choice while listening to friends who have to pick up extra shifts and find one more job to afford things they used to afford in the past with no problems. It's all about surviving now, not about living. If I had a choice, I would have stayed in Saskatoon, and wouldn't have moved to a smaller place just to be able to go on vacation. Too bad, you have to choose one or the other now. We are contemplating about our next step as well. It might be one of Eastern European countries, we'll see what the future holds for us. I don't think most people understand just how long and environmentally challenging the Canada-US boarder really is. In this video we're talking about only a very small section of the border along New York State and New England, but going west the boarder goes on for literally thousands of miles.\n\nBecause of the great distances and vast amount of wild land up north vs the population size on both sides of the border, it makes it almost impossible to actively patrol the entire length of the Canada-US border.\n\nThis is not just a problem on the US side of the border. Irregular crossings are also happening into Canada.\n\nThe best thing the two countries can do is to actively work together on this issue.

100% agreed. I have seen one lady(indian) helping her 4-6 yr son to pee in the school playground wall . My kids go to that school . I informed the school principal. But they can't control anyone after school hours. They asked me to call the police if i see anything in the future. It's so shameful for me because everyone hates us because of this public pee and poop issue. My wife told me she also saw a few Indian/Pakistani mothers doing the same. When she asked one of them . Her response was its school responsibility to provide the washroom even after school hours. They are not even accepting their wrong doing.

I can understand the pain the gentleman is going through my family own a life housing and land in Uganda very few tenants have paid and the government is not letting us evict them but love us to continue to pay our taxes while allowing encroachers to steal our land and some of them are military personalities.
