Hello, I live in BC, Canada. Canada is currently in a very rough state, and I can only hope things will improve soon. One of the biggest issues is the rampant, uncontrolled immigration. The government invited a flood of people into the country without having the necessary infrastructure in place—jobs, healthcare, housing—to support them. Now they're trying to cap immigration, hoping for a turnaround, but it's like closing the stable door after the horse has bolted.\n\nCanada's drug and crime policies are an absolute joke. I also have an Instagram account where many students ask me about studying in Canada. I always tell them that if they're doing well in India, they should stay there. The problem isn't just with India's education system—it's with the unrealistic mindset of people wanting to come to Canada.\n\nWe see students desperately going from one store to another, begging for jobs that simply aren't there. Some even sell their land or property, especially in Punjab, thinking they'll find a better life here. But right now, it's just not worth it. When I advise others, they think we're living the dream in Canada while trying to stop them from coming. I moved to Canada 12 years ago, and the country has changed beyond recognition.

Dear Abhi, I am canadian PR. I attest to the facts presented in this video. Students are suffering and it feels bad to see and witness their ordeal. Healthcare is so bad that I have stories of surgery done wrong and person almost died. Colossal level of mis-management is going on in this country. I am professional and at executive level in corporation, still half the time in a year I struggle to keep up with expenses. I am re-considering my decision to stay in this country. If some student is reading this please think 100 times before you come to Canada.

I think it should be like that. If I have to go to their country and follow their cultures and rules, they have to come to our country and lose all of that, an become Canadian.

I am watching this video from Canada and I have 4 words for you - “DO NOT COME HERE!!!” Everything that was mentioned in the video is absolutely true. Canada is facing many problems, unaffordable housing, broken healthcare systems, homeless people, drugs. I am always scared to walk in downtown at night when I’m returning from work. And the worst part is, you cannot even defend yourself here if a homeless person is attacking you. If you do that you will be prosecuted saying that why did you touch that homeless guy and it is a violation of human rights, which is stupid. So does that mean that we should just let a random homeless person kill us?? How does that make sense?? My friend who was having an asthma attack had to sit in the emergency room for 8 hours. If something would have happened, who would be responsible? And the list just goes on. And what does the Canadian prime minister do about that….? Let a guy be a girl and a girls become a guy? What does that even mean??? I have nothing against the LGBTQ people. That’s your life do whatever you want, I don’t care. But there are so many other issues going on in the country and the government is focusing on allowing people to change their genders !! \nAnd the worst part is that a portion of the tax we pay from our hard earned money goes to the homeless people. And what do they do? Buy drugs and start attacking random people. Cons- im earning 1778$ biweekly and i get 1415 only in bank account. 20.50% High tax\n\n2. If you are sick, you need to go to medical clinic where you will wait hours , then docter will ask you for eg blood test, for that you will book appointment with life-lab , they will give you appointment after 5 days, after appointment, your results will will be sent to the doctor and then after you need to make another appointment with doctor to discuss results. If you are doing self defence, you can only hit them in the same amount he hit you, if 1% you hit more like slapped two time where the homeless/drugee slapped only one time, you will be charged with criminal case. \n\n4. Let’s imagine that you have a medical condition called canadasia. There is a knowledgeable community of physicians that can really help with canadasia disease. But there are lot of crack doctors on YouTube who claim they know everything about canadasia because they have watched lot of videos and articles on canadasia. Would you take your advice from the crack doctor or approach someone with the right qualifications? They are now down ranking the videos of the crack doctors to show content from more reliable sources. Bro, I'm living in Vancouver from last year. Took 40 Lakhs of Loan for My MBA, chipped in money for fees. Till date I've got no benefit from Canada, except for bills and spending money on taxes and rent. This is damn true! - Work permits are getting queries, PR files are getting rejection. No job part time opportunities.\n\n1. Renting a room, especially for boys is the hardest if you are looking a private room. (my rent is 950$ for a private room, i struggle to pay this every month - without having a job)\n2. All banks want you to get enrolled as a student, then give credit cards, so you can easily buy things and pay them more and get you involved in the loop. \n3. I've applied in almost every job for part time, got rejection due to no available positions (Reasons : too many applicants)\n4. You are not gonna get a job in your field, unless you are into finance or IT with a found background.\n5. I DAILY SEE OUR PEOPLE ALSO GETTING ATTRACTED TO THIS CULTURE, SMOKING WEED ON A DAILY BASIS AND DOING MANY THINGS WHICH I FEEL STUDENTS MUST NOT DO. \n6. For my chest pain, they kept me waiting 4 hours in a line. Asked me that if i can stand and sit for a while then i must not worry. I was completely weak at that time, shivering and going through 101 fever.\n7. 75$ monthly for MSP insurance we pay as temporary residents -> still waiting for 4 hours to meet the doctor.\n8. Current situation of students is worse here, no opportunities for many students who come with hope, especially if they are coming for PGDM, or bachelors. Currently at this time only, MASTERS is given a priority.\n9. Don't think about applying for PR, unless you are filthy rich, unless you have exceptional skills in the industries which IRCC is looking for.\n10. Racism is at its peak, especially only on students** sad thing to say but yes this is the reality of international students.\n\n\nI hope all my brothers and sisters here come with a planning, strategy and best and worst case scenarios preparation. Canada has always been a peaceful, prosperous, progressive and a good governance oriented nation. In the recent decade, too much of woke, radical left wing ideology has penetrated into policy and public institutions that have led to Canada’s current day crisis. \n\n2. This country has always welcomed talented immigrants who are willing to integrate with the Canadian society, embrace its values, traditions and culture. However, in the last 10 years, too many refugees and reckless mass immigration has put an incredible pressure on the economy, infrastructure and social cohesion. \n\n3. The political leadership has allowed reckless mass immigration without caring to boost the economy/infrastructure to handle the volume and hence the sorry state of affairs. \n\n4. Too many immigration consultants of Indian origin engage in outright VISA frauds (yes, this is unfortunately true) leading to ppl coming in as a tourist and then seeking asylum or converting their visa into a student visa (55 year olds from Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat coming here as students).\n\n5. A significant chunk of people coming from India (esp. Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat) seeking a permanent residency in Canada are using student visas as a back door to claim eligibility for PR/citizenship. This is downright abusive and was never intended to be used like this. This has fueled a fake college diploma industry into Canada where “2-room” colleges have sprung up along the highways giving out fake diplomas and certifications for easy cash. Thus, the students, the immigration consultants and the fake diploma issuing colleges are all getting benefited from this scam. The internet is filled with such sting operations by Canadian officials exposing Indian students/immigration consultants. Do check them out. \n\n6. Unlike the past, the recent batch of immigrants in the last 3 years or so, make no effort at all to integrate into Canadian society and abuse the system, create law and order problem, drive recklessly, talk loudly in public spaces, litter everywhere, cross railway tracks like they do in India, steal liquor from stores, shamelessly collect food from food banks (as a way to save on groceries) that are meant for the elderly, disabled or those that are in utter poverty. It wasn’t like this ever before. In cities like Mississauga, Brampton and Surrey, the Khalistan movement + gangs involved in theft, drugs and human trafficking are from Punjab/Haryana and they have mushroomed here like crazy. I’m also from Canada, everything stated is very true. Education is not that great as compared to what fees we pay, think again before coming. Job currently isn’t available. Part time is also hard. In part time, you will earn to complete your housing and accommodation allowance but will not able to collect for your college fees. Just count it yourself, $17.5 per hour is minimum wage and for 24 hours per week. Also minus taxes from it. If you are planning somewhere near Toronto or Vancouver, please stay way. You can try going New Brunswick either. It’s cheaper as compared.\n\nHowever, did you notice something about all the commonwealth countries, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, UK, etc etc. they all are facing the same problem. So, hold on your horses. Research before going. People do go different countries, might be Japan, and other countries. Don’t ask a barber if I need a haircut, similar don’t ask a consultant if I can go to Canada or Australia. They will always say Yes!

Been in Canada 15+ years. Stay back in india if you are considering a move here. Life is better there 100%. \nOnly come if you are getting a good IT job that keeps you for 3-4 years and you limit your time to that to come and learn then go back after getting Passport. \nEducation is inferior here, Healthcare is non existent, political divisiveness governs all things, it lacks culture and color, it's cold, expensive, and dead and quiet overall.\nIndia is live and vibrant, yes with its own issues, but still more hospitable than here.\nYou fall behind financially because of taxes and also mentally becuase of overall slow pace and complacency in people/jobs with very little competition becuase of the oligarchs controlling all things.

The blunt truth is that the majority of ostensible international students from India coming into Canada happen to be from the state of Punjab and are Sikhs. The state of Punjab is the educational dregs of India as it is mostly agricultural. What is happening is this influx of so-called students from Punjab are in fact hooligans and come to Canada in the guise of being students. But are in fact here to become permanent residents by hook or by crook. This phenomena is a recent development since 2020-21. Prior to that the students who came to Canada from India were genuine students that is why Canada did not see the problems from so-called international students from India prior to 2020-21. Canada really needs to screen carefully for both academic credentials as well as English language facility. These so-called international students cannot speak basic English. How in the world are they going to actually fare in Canadian post-secondary education let alone at University level. Canada is now facing an influx of these hooligans and they ALL need to be deported back to India.

Worse is that they are pouring out of the Toronto areas and into Atlantic Canada because of the high rents there in TO! If I want to experience the look and smell of India I'll go to New Delhi. And tourists do not want to come to Canada to smell and see 10000000s of east Indias! What a disaster!!!

This shit is ridiculous, I’ve seen it in real time 90 min outside of Toronto, living in a quiet city as 5 years ago. Now there are traffic jams from 2 pm until 7 pm in the city, and endless traffic when driving 30 km in any direction on the highways. A few weeks ago it took me 5 hours to drive 75 miles. Every single gig economy job is bursting at the seems with people who are useless for any other kinds of work. The scariest thing is no one is going to have the balls to send people back to where they came from. Especially the conservative party. They will bend over faster than a one legged whore when it comes time to do their overlords biddings.

What's one of the main reasons why a foreign country would invite foreign workers into their country to work?? Because there are native citizens of that particular nation that don't want to work, they are lazy.. I understand the issue about overpopulation, but on the other hand, the opportunities have always been there for the natives to take advantage of, but did they?? So the government had to come up with a system to fill those vacancies, and in some cases, another reason why natives can't get a job, is because they are not qualified.. I think if an immigrant should be there with the aim to create a better life, I'm sure it can be achieved with hardwork and sacrifices, because a lot of us want to live above our means/ budget, spending more than we earn, instead of saving towards accomplishing a specific goal.. And i think a lot of people go with this false belief that that particular country is paradise, so they think as they land, their lives would be changed instantly, not knowing that they have to work very hard and make sacrifices to achieve their goals, and that's the main issue, they go without having any aims or goals, they go with the wrong mindset and attitude, and the list goes on.. And these students that are protesting, they should be trying to make a difference in the country to demonstrate to the government and the natives there that they are worthy to be a part of the nation, because they are not taking from it, but rather adding more values to it.. I think it all depends on the mindset.. And of course, i do agree that an immigrant should assimilate..

Honestly, the cost of living is high everywhere.. There is no government of any nation that really cares for the people.. I live in Jamaica, and if you don't have links, survival in this country is almost impossible, and if you should get a job, if you don't discipline yourself to live within your means/ budget, you will only find yourself in debts.. Each nation's economy will get worse.. That's why our only hope is the Lord Jesus Christ.. And even with the Lord on our side, we will still face difficulties, but he will always come to our rescue, we just need to trust him.. WE all know that these students intension to come to Canada is to become permanent residents.! The immigration agents are taking advantage of these desperate students. Spouse visa is hard for Indians because white Canadians are not attracted to Indians! (not like Filipinas). In Australia, as of July 2024, Student visa can no longer change or extend their visa. They have to go home first and re apply!

Nobody promised anything. Before international student come here, we do mention in SOP that after completion of studies we will go back to our home country. So, no one can challenge this. Vancouver real-estate is essentially a money laundering operation for rich foreigners looking to stash their money somewhere. Protections were put in place a little to late back in 2016 with the foreign buyers tax. But honestly most of these foreigners can either be exempt from this tax with their citizenship loop hole (anchor baby) Or honestly they just pay the fine since they can afford it and just need to get their money out of the country they are coming from. Its quite dystopian because building more homes like the government keeps promising isn't going to solve the problem either. This is because its just going to add more to the volume of housing that the foreigners can buy up from the locals and adding more fuel to the problem. Immigrations Canada is lying to new comers. To top it off, BC just recently passed a law in 2024 where you can no longer build single family residences in the lower mainland area. WHERE are the families going to go then? Can anyone even afford a family anymore? Vancouverites like myself who were diligent and saved every penny are walking away from mortgages in droves because who wants to lock into a 30 year term amortization period where at rate plus prime your looking at 5.5%-7% where the bank makes more than double in interest from you. Over the course of 30 years you still lose because even if your property appreciates past double. Capital Gains will take into effect. Your loosing money no matter what! It truly is a nightmare designed to enslave you financially. This is simply wealth creation suicide. Came from immigrant parents in the 1990s, I slaved for 10 years during my twenties, didn't come from wealth, didn't party, didn't have fun, studied hard, and started a business and I still cant break into the Vancouver market. So I ended up just barely squeaking into the market in Abbotsford. Vancouverites as a whole are screwed. Time to pack up and move to Alberta I suppose. I will also preface by saying that most of BC is empty and that it would make sense to built outside of the Vancouver area as Vancouver has now basically become fiscally unlivable. It might make sense for the next government that come into power to decide to invest in building in other towns and cities around BC to incentivize Canadians to move.

Pin points why Canada and even immigrants, including international students and temporary works dislike immigrants from Punjab:\n\n- They are rude. They have little to none concept of living in society. They are selfish, they are arrogant, and anyone who works in the serving/retail industry will they are the worst customers ever. \n\n- The level of entitlement is beyond absurd. When the leader of this protests in PEI was told “Canada needs doctors and nurses, not you (the guy graduated from a business program, and works at Tim Hortons still), he responded: “I don’t care what Canada needs, is what I need, for myself”, displaying what a great citizen he’d be.\n\n- They refuse to integrate. They left Punjab to pursue a better life, but they want to live like are still in Punjab. \n\n- They scam their way in. Banks in India will lend them money to come to Canada, they buy their IELTS results. 99.9% of all the students I dealt with who got caught cheating on their exams were from India.\n\n- The people we are receiving in Canada are members of a separatist movement. They have often blocked roads to protest against India, because they want Punjab to be separated from India, and turned into a new country called Khalistan. I highly doubt they would all move there if that actually happened.\n\n- Going back to the entitlement: They often abuse the human rights nature of Canada. They sued the government for the right to ride bikes without helmets, or to not be forced to used safety equipment in construction sites, and for the right to walk around carrying a dagger, because it’s a “religious item”. Canada also for some dumb reason accepts their arranged marriages as a real one. The DEI department of my company approved a Punjab manager, and now more than half of the staff is Punjab. English is no longer spoken in the hallways. \n\nSo these are just few of the complaints I have about them. I moved to Canada for a better life, and I have fully adapted to this country, and I’m resentful that this government allowed these people to slowly turn Canada into India. I was sold the idea of diversity, and I fell for it. I’m the minority of the minorities. Despite being a full Canadian now, every single day I think more and more of just going home. I’m tired of Canada.

In 2030 canada will become next india and you can’t do nothing about it conditions are becoming worse there is no job here and government is planning to invite 500 k more students so you can cry about that maybe just giving your opinion on internet that international students should go you can come to streets and protest about it that we want no more immigration because in the end international students will come every year like only there is only government eho can stop it
