And if so, which policies does he believe should be adopted by Saudi Arabia. And if he doesn’t support Hamas, then what can such a rich and plentiful country like Saudi Arabia do to help the Palestinians, with regard to an alternate government. No one is interested in conquering the lands of the WB or GS. The question is what to do to improve the quality of life in those areas, and replacing Hamas with a government that cares about its people would be an easy starting point.

Governments in Muslim Majority countries are not any better. They may imprison you for being a regular at the mosque and that's no exaggeration..

I see comments about the u.s. ... oh', so much better, lower taxes etc. Fact: in 2024, a nuclear family (2 parents, 2 kids) in the u.s. often pays over $2,000/mo, every month, just for medical insurance premiums. That is just another form of tax ... the cost of living.Tuition, far higher in the u.s. Property taxes, far higher. I lived in the u.s. for 20 yrs, and returned to Canada. And, Canadian society is less violent, less racist, more polite, more civilized, there is less social anxiety. If you don't like it here, go try America. Canada is among the best of countries with a higher standard of living for average working families, than in the u.s.

As around 8-10 years ago, I embarked on a similar journey, leaving North America for the Middle East, Far East, and South East Asia in search of a country with Islamic values and environment. However, I eventually returned back due to witnessing too much hypocrisy and lawlessness in those places. Unfortunately, there isn't a single country in the world that can be considered a true Islamic country. If you've found something that fits the criteria, please feel free to share. Honestly, I can't claim it's 100%, but during Dr. Mahathir's time, Malaysia seemed around 60-70%. The main challenge was the language; learning Malay is essential to fit in better. English is widely spoken and understood, but proficiency in Malay enhances the experience. As for Turkey, UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan, they fall short at the 20-30% level. I am saddend by the number of people who have chosen to leave Canada, although I realize that this is a good decision for you and many others. This country has changed, and not for the better. Greed has taken over with grocery conglomerates eliminating competition and raising prices for record profits. Buying a house now requires a lottery win, not just a mortgage. It seems that we are working to pay taxes and the banks and the insurance companies. And I have yet to hear anything meaninfull about this situation from the government on these issues. Counting days until my early retirement (still several years) to go back to Thailand, my home country. Quality of life in Canada used to be better when i came 25 years ago and things have gone downhill in recent years, especially after the pandemic. As a middle income class with good secured job, i feel the purchasing power has significantlyndiminishing and disposable income left to spend outside necessities is very low or none.

Why forcing to go to other country, that you don’t even speak the language. why don’t you force your own government to serve the citizens better life ?‍♀️

It's very simple that there's vast difference to settle in motherland than in foreign country. If you think there will be bed of roses for you in foreign countries you better stay in your motherland. I think every immigrant is a seeker , I'm from India , people move to metro cities like Mumbai or delhi for better life , then they move further if they get better opportunities so some have made it to Canada or other countries what so ever ,if someone would say some bad points about the country then there would be some judging asking questions like if we don't like it here , why don't you come back .... What i think if a person gets opportunity and is seeking to grow for a job or anything must just keep seeking to the best place to settle.

Great comparison by these ladies. Wanted to share my thoughts about\n1. lack of color in cold countries- mostly Colors are representative of nature's palette. So brown, greys, blues, black in canada due to the weather & animals like wolves, bears,. India's bright sun & animals give us vivid clothing Colors.\n2. Food tastes better in india because of the climate again. Canadian veggies & Fruits are shipped from west índies & other warm countries so by the time they get here, distributed to grocery stores they are no longer truly fresh

Im a Canadian, currently living in Vancouver but I've lived in many countries and will expat again. What it boils down to is if you have a good professional job that pays well, quality of life here is fantastic (among the best). Great schools, clean, great for young kids, and unparalleled acces to the best nature in the world mintues from a world class city. But life gets difficult quick when you cant afford anything. All these other complaints are blown out of porpotion (politics, drugs, etc...) by many and mostly don't really impact most people. In my experience, most people really leave because of better pay in the US, or because Europe has more culture, or asia has many more contries to explore close, or has LATAM has better weather etc...

First generation immigrants have always worked in labour jobs to get started. We are proud of our parents who sacrificed their careers for us. Taxation is about collective living. We will continue to improve. Crime here is nothing compared to most countries in the world. You give anecdotal evidence. Random stabbing is much better than mass shooters. Drug crisis is real. This will be global issue, including Asia. C-18 is making tech companies accountable and pay up. Making friends is easy here. If you move around a lot, you can’t build friendships.

I am indonesian, but i’ve lived in Japan and the US for study purpose, and i relate to your experience. Eventhough i had a strong moslem community when i was in Japan/US, and halal food was accessible there, i was still feeling uncomfortable that as a moslem i couldn’t express my identity freely. Whenever i wanted to go for a roadtrip or place outside of my city, i need to search if halal food was available in there or not, while in Indonesia i don’t have to worry about halal food, almost all food are halal, the restaurant usually inform us if their are not halal. Another experience is that in non-moslem country, they didn’t provide many prayer rooms or mosques, that’s also sickening for me. I mean i don’t mind to pray in a random parking lot, or in a park, or in an emergency stairs, or in changing room in mall, or any random places; but i really missed my country where prayer room is available anywhere, you can find prayer room in gas station, in a restaurant, in the mall, in airport/bus station/train station, etc. Also mosques are everywhere too. You are easily going to find mosque after walking around 200m, well yeah there is a reason why Indonesia is a country with the most number of mosques in the world. Another thing is islamic class. When i was in Japan, i could only join an islamic class where people gather to listen from syeikh (or we call it as “pengajian”) once in every other months, in the US was better, mosque in mu place held islamic class every other day. However, in Indonesia, islamic classes are everywhere, it’s like every mosque held their own class, until to the point that i am confused what should i follow because there are so many options ?. The last is that, in moslem country or at least in my country, finding moslems outfit is very easy. So yeah, overall, i prefer to live in moslem countries. Alhamdulillah i was born in moslem country, and alhamdulillah my country’s situasion, eventho not perfect, is peacefull.

This is what I have been hearing from people living in Canada but then I wonder what about rest of the world. Whole global economy is in a depression there are countries suffering a lot worse than Canada. So, I think people will continue moving out of their base countries to look for employment and better life.

I e considered so many times to leave to another country. I really dislike winter. I can’t stand any cold below 50* degrees. Living paycheck to paycheck is no joke especially when I don’t get pay on bc of payroll mess up. Having high level\nof stress and food is GMO. I believe living in a tropical climate is better where I can grow my own food and be outdoor enjoying nature. Unfortunately we don’t have job or the financial freedom to make such moves. Good luck ❤

A lot of people from Western countries are moving to European End Asian Countries. Singapore happens to that list as a place to move to you might be better off going back. I don't know why you would have moved to Canada in the first place. There are way better places to go that are warmer cheaper to live and you have more freedom

I’m originally from Kazakhstan but have lived all my adult life in California (21-41) and now considering moving out of state or even country. I do have still another 10 years I need to live here to accomplish a few of my career goals to live more comfortably afterwards, but in a long run this is not a place to live anymore. Even in the past 20 years I’ve lived in California I’ve witnessed economy and the whole family values goes down the drain, more homelessness, less opportunities, people are more selfish, etc. I know it is happening all around the world too but as in this video it was stated, it is much harder for me to be a practicing Muslim in an environment surrounded by non Muslims (no offense) - just the lack of mosques in my vicinity, an Islamic environment for my child, halal foods, etc. There are mosques and halal food, but I have to drive for it. I have wonderful friends, coworkers and neighbors that are non Muslim and super nice and we have great relationships. But there are oftentimes situations when I wish they understood me better like with this situation about Palestine. I think Palestine is the last drop we needed to firmly make the decision to move.

This country isn't worth moving to. Prepare for the high cost of living they don't tell you about. I'm planning to leave at some point. The country used to be a lot better then what it is now. We have high inflation. I live in the capital and this city is to expensive to live.

Those that have lived here for 40-50 years, know that many of these have been worst in the past and have gotten better. We continue the cycle as focus changes. Even the cold winters aren't nearly as bad as they used to be. Mortgage rate 1981 = 21.75%, coldest year in Toronto = 1976, unemployment = 1983,1992, 2020, Housing cost peak = 1990, Wait for non-emergency specialist is crazy long extending into years, but critical issues are addressed immediately. politics is always the same, there is no good government, but other countries have the same issues. We are still as free as ever.

I am north east Asain/Canadian and i have moved out of Canada few years ago, actually lots of friends of mine also move back to their original countries for better working opportunities, basically there isn't much good opportunity in B.C. people from highly developed Asian countries like Japan, S.Korea, Taiwan, even China has a higher tendency to leave Canada, the future is in Asia, tons of much better opportunities than Canada. Also after i have travelled many countries i realize if ur rich there r lots of other countries that u can live way better than Canada, the house, food, tax is much more affordable and local ppl r super friendly. Last 10+ years india has risen so much and these so called first world countries have fallen down. So the gap between US/Canada and india has been narrowed down. Illegal immigration, high taxes, crime etc are on highest right now in US and Canada. That is why india is a better choice right now!
