Funny thing is the Sikh gurus were butchered by fanatic Mughal Muslims Kings. This act goes against Islamic ideology which is based upon their belief that Islam is the only correct religion and their prophet Muhammad is the last genuine prophet. Historically Sikhs were the victims of Islamic intolerance. This Sikh man is a politician running on a liberal platform so he needs the minority vote. He knows Islam very well and the issues behind it but that is not his concern, so he’s only gonna respond that’s racist. First of all Islam isn’t a race it’s a religion so it’s not racist to be concerned about their exclusivist, intolerant, and fanatic belief systems. The thing about Islam and Muslims is that they want everyone to support and defend them\nBut in their own countries they don’t support nor defend anyone except for the people who share their religion. It’s a double standard, and they play victim when it suits them. Islam itself is very intolerant as a religion. That politician is correct but the white man needs to educate himself on Sikhs their history and culture. Sikhs don’t judge they defend anyone they feel that are being persecuted including the people who share a religion with their oppressors. That’s their strength but that is their weakness as well.

Mississauga is now Muslimssauga, refugees and asylum seekers cheats Canada and once they get Canadian passport they go back to Syria or Iraq for holidays then they don't face precautions or life threats. Moving to Vancouver was a great experience tbh, I'm of nigerian heritage but was born in Finchley, North London...\nCanadians are friendly and extremely welcoming ( Coming from the UK i found this so off-putting ) lol. Ironically its non-white Canadians i had funny experiences with.... from dating to renting its weird\n\n\nAsians under 27 always asking some crazy questions ( Are you an NBA player ) lol it's cute at first but after a while when little koreans walk up to me talking about ( You look like will smith ) it makes you think... To be fair these are not inherent negatives, But asian canadians alone did treat me weird i found, Indian girls i met all wanted to be with me but where also very ashamed to say so or let their family know, but thats a cultural thing so i understood.\n\n\n Of all the demographics White canadian and native men where the most welcoming and open to me, in my experience.. I went to an all English speaking school and as you're reading this comment I, naturally, learned English and my mother learned a bit of English, but I certainly did. I knew my mother had to learn because I won't always be there to help her so she practiced English by using me as an interpreter, and I did help her. Now she goes to her bank and know some numerical orders. \n\nNo matter what they SHALL learn English here! Spending decades there in America and still haven't learn English yet?? What's the deal?!?!

This is done routinely by Chinese people. Similar situation in Australia. The vast majority of the Chinese 'businessmen' and officials registered barely spend a day in a year in the country they are supposedly ordinarily resident in. It's about preparing for the very real threat of when something goes awry back home or they fall out of favour with a honcho bigger than them they have an escape path and they can not be extorted with their families. For this, ultra-wealthy Chinese are more than willing to throw some money around by investing in unprofitable businesses, buying real estate or flat out handing some money to that country's government and go through the bureaucratic hurdles of committing fraud.

What killed me is she was eligible for the Working Poor Tax Credit. It goes to show how easy these rules are to exploit. Someone could sit down and calculate exactly what they need to make, how many children they need to have, what activities to pursue etc so they can gain access to all these tax benefits. Make the most money while paying the least tax. There was an article in the nation post about this which discussed Trudeau's statement that the poor do not pay tax. It is crazy the tax credits people get and it makes it so something like close to 40% of people do not actually pay tax. Its one thing when working canadian's benefit, but not Chinese business people who come here, buy a house, maintain their status under false pretenses, then get credits for being poor.

I love Islam and Muslims and converted to Islam at 13 although not eating pork is all that remains, but as a Canadian I understand the worry about total concealment, and all that needs to be covered is the hair.
