It's just a matter of WHERE DOES GOD WANT YOU TO BE? if it's Canada then God will make it a smooth sail...But if you went on your own Accord ..then you will surely struggle..the thing is there are people who are in Canada and are successful just like there are people in Kenya doing very well...I think we should each seek God's agenda first at all times...

First of all, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you Lynn! Continue being the good person you are boo❤️. \nHere are my two cents on this matter: Not only in Canada, but people who get an opportunity to come abroad, should \n1: Know where you are going before you get there (stop doing things out of desperation). Know where you are going to work, know your host company, if you can’t find out by yourself, please ASK people who have been there, they can help you. \n2: Use appropriate agents (can you use eligible organizations instead of these one to one agent’s?) \n3: Make sure you follow the government procedures guys!!! (This keeps you on a safer place!!!!!!) many people skip this in the name of ‘janja janja’ just to get there. But if you follow the procedures and do the paperwork, guys huwezi tu kuenda mahali.\n4: KNOW YOUR HOST COMPANY! (Do research ? make sure it’s a legal company), UNDERSTAND YOUR CONTRACT before you choose to travel. Please this is very important. You can seek deep information about what you are going to do, information is everywhere guys. SEEK information. Many people just want to go ‘majuu’ but they don’t seek information yawa??‍♀️\n5: Lower your expectations (you can’t just blossom in two months). Usikuje na idea at ohhh I will be investing home blah blah! Manze, pia huku kuna bills, the rents, the TAXES, you still need to eat and your whole welfare! \nAnd don’t go majuu thinking things are easy there, NOOO guys It’s never easy! People just SURVIVE ?.

I think it's a matter of where someone's blessings are. We have people who go there and are successful and probably live there, we have those who go there maybe for further studies but end up working in their home countries. We have others who don't go there at all they make it in life in their respective countries. I think one thing that people need to figure out is , if this dorbst work, what else can i do and where else can I go before I waste so much time on something that is not working. \nSi ata wewe Lynn ulikua majuu and here you are living your purpose in your own country...\nSo people should gree to make changes especially their beliefs that when you go to Canada you must make it there and therefore you stay there for so long and by the time you realize that place ain't for you, you've wasted so much and you start regretting..

Look at Texas and see how they deal with social matters. They are becoming alternative to states such as California and New York. The city should be a magnet to promissing and well-educated people, not losers. Sorry, if I hurt you with this words, but the truth must be outspoken. There are not soft ways to solve the city problems.

Go to Canada and then make your way to the USA like so many people do!… It’s so much better there when it comes to the weather, the opportunities, the choices and the wages. As a matter of fact, the wages in the U.S. are way higher if you are a skilled and/or degreed individual.

Did the Indian government do it again? It's no joking matter but lord above, this situation is slowly turning out to be absolutely hilarious!

If you come to this country no matter which side you are with, don't bring your drama here to Canada, if you do get out of Canada and North America.

India is such a large hearted country that it has taken upon itself the responsibility of ensuring the safety of Canadians against the khalistani terrorists based out of Canada. These uneducated illegal Sikhs are on invitation to Canada from jagmeet Singh also a Khalistani sympathiser and a friend of the selfish and greedy PM of Canada. For this PM only his vote bank matters. It is unfortunate. Canada will bear the brunt of their PMs stupidity in times to come.

I’m a Toronto born proud Canadian. And I DON’T agree with the immigration system. It’s stupid. Outright. Yes my parents are immigrants and I’m LUCKY to have been born here but it’s just a matter of no space and jobs suitable for the unaffordable housing crisis. It’s just a matter of people and space… That’s it. We aren’t animals that can comfortably live on farm land. We have massive condos here that are vacant because no one, especially not a millennial can afford it. Whatsoever. \n\nBut sure, I’ll probably be insensitive for saying that because it’s “racist”. When I really never cared to begin with. I love different cultures. I do. If anyone can vouch, it’s me. I can. I’ve seen how racist and cruel this world can be and I NEVER had a problem with people of different races growing up. Due to all of the stress, I can totally see and understand the concerns.

Ghana's inflation rate 40.1% with a 30% percent interest rate.Your ideas dont matter without money for Government officials. We dont have leaders in Africa. They are all investors who have come to take returns on their money sharing.

There is one thing that the Sardaji did not mention. Perhaps he is too young to comment on this. As you age in a foreign country, you need acceptance from the society, and you need to be able to integrate. I have lived in the UK and Germany (10 years) before coming to the US (in 1987). In the UK it does not matter, there are enough of us. The US is very friendly and you are accepted. Germany, France and other West European countries will not accept you as an equal. You can make friends as a student, but as a worker you do not make new friends anymore. I do not know what the situation is in Canada. Perhaps some one can comment.

We all need to understand this is all political between both countries. If the Governments would have wanted to fix it, it would have been fixed years and centuries ago. But nooooo, they won’t because they used it for political matters they don’t care about anyone. So we all need to be humanitarian and work on both countries to make life better samaritans we all need to have respected lives and safe lives in peace it’s getting harder and harder. People need to be humans and don’t follow government orders only.

Notice he remained calm, complied with officer instruction, and the situation was resolved after tensions had de-escalated. That is why there is no need for a “Sikh Lives Matter” movement, because he did the right thing and didn’t make a fool/martyr of himself. \n\nI saw the recent news of the Sikh Marine graduate, and feel proud to have him with us!

Simple...live to work vs work to live....as Canadian born visible minority...I can confirm no matter where you move in Canada it will all be the same story.....The systemic racism is very real but more about bullying. Its so passive that you never know when it hits you until you think deep about it. I read the comments about regret....and I totally agree, about the life back home. So I will tell you this. If you really miss back home, save up, let your kids finish their education and move back home and enjoy your life that you always wanted. Canada is not for everyone...and the move you stay disgruntle about everyday life....its no living...

Claiming to be a sikh and not wearing a decent turban. \n\nUnderstand one thing. If you want to be respected. Wear respectful clothes. Religious symbols are weapons for comman people. Simple as that. But khair for you religion matters. Not rationality.

In China it's a status symbol of having subordinates carrying suitcases behind bosses. That's the whole matter.

Some people get this immigration matter all wrong ?\nNo matter how desperate one might be willing to migrate to Canada, US or any other developed country, we mustn't deny the fact that everyone on earth has their destined country of manifestation, the same God that asked Abraham to leave his father's land in order to access his blessing and fulfil destiny was the same God who asked Isaac not to travel down to Egypt (Gen. 26, read if you care).\n\nAbraham's blessing was in foreign land and he needed to migrate to access the blessing while Isaac needed to stay back in the land where God will bless him and that's where he prospered.\n\nNow imagine Isaac rushing down to Egypt for green pastures without listening to the word of God who promised to bless him.

In Canada, laws are the same for each and every person no matter what is the position of the person.

Bro, you are “visiting” “Born here” doesn’t matter….#RESPECT the country and laws irrespective of what religion , race or country you are from…#chaltahai doesnt work…this is how radicals think they can do whatever they want. Don’t like it, maybe where its acceptable is a nice way of saying may be a nice place to be ?

Beware of the single narrative. He’s speaking from his own experience, but it’s not the same as everybody’s. I’ve lived in Canada now for 4 years…got my citizenship this year. I lived in Nigeria for the 10 years prior to moving to Canada, and I also schooled and lived in the UK before that, so I speak with a wealth of diverse experiences. \n\nBefore you move to Canada or anywhere else for that matter, do the following:\n\n1. Research the country you’re moving to…what jobs are in demand, how that aligns with your qualifications…if you need to recertify or retrain in a different field. Many people move here thinking “oh I was a bank manager in Nigeria, so I’ll move here and become a bank manager”. It doesn’t work that way. The streets of Canada are littered with qualified medical doctors who drive Uber because they didn’t understand how difficult it would be to be certified to practice here.\n\n2. Find role models who are living the life you aspire to, or who have made similar moves and seek advice or guidance, and learn what they did right/wrong. Don’t just assume because your friend moved here, you can also move here and live the same life. You don’t share the same life experiences, history or have the same network.\n\n3. Before you immigrate physically, you have to immigrate mentally…be in the right mindset to live in a new country, understand their culture and learn to adapt. If you’re expecting to leave Nigeria and move to Canada to live a Nigerian lifestyle with “owambe” parties every weekend, or having 4 cars and 3 housemaids, then you’re still living in Nigeria mentally. Even Justin Trudeau does not drive 4 cars.\n\nI work in tech, so I knew that with God’s grace I’d find a way to succeed here. My wife worked in a Nigerian bank, and was able to transition to tech after we arrived here. Our combined annual income is roughly $500k, and we both work less than 40 hours a week, and I believe God will continue to bless us. I have easily 20 or 30 friends and colleagues who moved within a year or two of each other, and everyone is doing fine and working in tech jobs paying 6-figures. \n\nDon’t be discouraged by people’s failures and hardships. With the right planning and mindset, you can achieve your goals in any country. Reach out to people on LinkedIn, build a network and ask for advice (constructively)…many like us are more than willing to help.

I mean I’m Native American and I’m sorry for being that guy but I will go back to being the savage red skin the Wasi’chus have made us out to be if these invaders come anywhere near the Rez. We have even more advanced civilian weaponry I don’t recommend you come near Anadarko Oklahoma. Or parts of north Texas for that matter I have a great many cousins and uncles with zero patience for bullshit and this right here is some bullshit.

I subscribed just because you looked like a very cool guy. \nMost of the things the man said are all over western world. It's really tough for a black man but you won't know it until you are in one of these countries. As for discrimination, it's everywhere even in Nigeria so you just have to speak out against it no matter what, remain focus on your objectives and move on. Speaking out is already a battle half won.

The news about Canada's economy collapse is not new. the media are currently being inundated with the news of economic meltdown. It takes a lot to look past the sea of headlines and focus on what's important: No matter how low stock prices fall, they keep rising. I completely ignore all news and continue to invest. I recently set aside $40,000 to invest in the market as we anticipate a collapse. Do you have any suggestions?

This video serves as a valuable eye-opener to the realities of life in the diaspora. It's crucial that we share these experiences not to discourage those back home, but to create a bridge of understanding. Living abroad presents its own set of challenges, and it's important for us to acknowledge them. Let's use this awareness to foster empathy, support, and unity among all of us, no matter where we are in the world. ?? #DiasporaInsights #UnityInChallenges

Well, what this guy is saying is not all orderly true.If Nigerian can get up in morning and go to work no matter how much they pay them , many Nigeria wouldn't be homeless going to other countries for their daily bread. 1000 Naira is 1 dollars. Can you live with 1 dollar a day? To me , don't believe what he is saying,90%of Nigeria are jobless.

So sad, you don't trash your country on a platform like this no matter challenges that country is going through. Some people built Canada to what is it today that your fellow Omo ti ko ri ola ri ( persons comming from poverty). At a point in history, Canada was a struggling country but I don't think Canadian talk trashed of their country. It's unfortunate these kids went to colleges in Nigeria at a subsidized rate and the best i will suggest is to not say anything rather than trashing you birth place.\n You will realize after staying in Canada for few years that it's not rosy and easy as you expect and you will be surprised to learnt that some of your colleagues/classmates who stays back and works in Nigeria are living far better than you. All that glitters are not gold in the west.\nI made this comment based on my experience living in the west for more than 2 decades.\nNever give up on your birth place, you may regret doing so later in the future.\nJust my advice.

Chalk it up to cultural difference. The guy didnt do anything wrong but it might raise some eyebrows and worry people. Odd how depending on the state he could have had a holstered pistol and people would be cool with it. All a matter of where you come from I suppose
