Have you ever went to ne calgary?. You would be lucky to see anyone thats not indian. Its crazy how they show up and they all flood to one spot. Isnt that the reason they left in the first place. Is there a smart they won’t come to Canada because even right now Canadians are on the street. It’s just not a good time. Canadians are good people it’s not their fault. It’s not the screw goes right back to Trudeau. And then no one‘s offering the immigrants jobs because there is no jobs but that’s not again the Canadians fault they can’t afford to put food on their own table. Canadians are hard-working and I know lotta immigrants are hard-working in regards to the students don’t come here maybe the United States will be best for you they offer lotta countries. Oh my God warm nice beautiful countries, I’m not country is sorry states you’ll probably be best for you to transfer over to somewhere there cause it’s just so many beautiful, warmer climate, and if people are used to coming from a warmer climate, it would just make more sense to me just an idea. I’m half of Canadians. I’m embarrassed of what is happening to the Canadian people under Trudeau and I’m embarrassed of what’s happening to the immigrants under Trudeau. Trying to find a job here in Canada is insane. i dont live near a big city by any means, but all low skill, fast food/grocery store jobs are now filled with punjabs. i see the job postings and i apply every time, but I'm constantly overlooked because i am not Punjabi. It is illegal to discriminate against job seekers but they do it so blatantly!\nive lived here my whole life, and now trying to get a job that requires no qualifications is one of the hardest things to do. i think immigrants can be beneficial to our society, but not when they come in swarms from the same country, unskilled, and are butting heads against the lower class people already living here for housing and jobs. just, no.

The real problem are politically slanted channels like this one. Don't get your panties in a twist: nothing in this video was a lie. Nothing not true. But like far too much now, it simply seeks to project a vibe to capitalize on the feelings of its targeted audience. Immigrants, drugs and big government, oh my. Is that really all there is to this though? Are your feelings that there are too many immigrants or the simplicity of a solution such as just lowering the price really all there is to it? Ask yourself: what role does the government play in prices that are too high? Does the city of Toronto own the buildings or set the prices? Who does? If the government came in tomorrow with the military and took ownership of all of the buildings and single family dwellings in order to lower their prices and repurpose the land more efficiently for denser urban housing at lower prices, how would you respond to that? Or should the government spend all of the money they are making to buy up properties at market value and then rebuild for more efficient, cheaper and denser housing? What would your response be to that? Immigrants: there are too many. Is it that simple? What would the population of Canada look like in 20 years with just the birth rate of non-recent Canadian citizens (ie no immigrants from the past 15-20 years)? That there is a problem is obvious. Playing on the feelings of group A or group B, showing them the things they fear and presenting it as something everyone does not already know while deliberately ignoring other vital parts of the problem is predatory at best. Your feelings, opinions and gut will solve nothing. Blinding yourself to entire parts of broken systems will solve nothing. Videos and channels like this seek only the engagement that the algorithm demands. It will only deepen the mistrust between citizens and their fellow citizens and citizens and the government, that is, their fellow citizens that have been elected to be said government (not some invading outside force beyond all control) and increase the polarization of groups in an already strained society. It will solve nothing.

I've been homeless before too. Absolutely sickening how foreigners get special treatment in housing simply because it looks better globally. THEY CHOSE TO COME HERE! As Canadian who was a two term elected official, I would say that one large issue\nis too many government staff. These people are less than competent/unionized, and do not answer to\nthe community, rather they see themselves as superior. For instance, the BC Wildfire\nservice burned out 250 homes by Shuswap Lake last summer by lighting a backfire.\nThey told the local logging contractors they couldn’t put out the fire because the\nBCWS were the experts. If you are to still go to Canada, for the love of god and your wallet dont go to Quebec\n\nIts actually one of the worst in terms of taxes.\n\nTo give yall an idea, I make 34 an hour where I work, and out of about 1.3k per week I get, I get... 800. A whopping 1/3 of my income is eaten by taxes, because we are the only province to have 2 taxes : provincial taxes and federal taxes.\n\nThe economy here is horrid.

One doesn't need a house in Canada. You go rent an apartment and you may live. Of course, if you earn 2000.00 to 4000.00 CAD per month. Which is rather difficult for immigrants. Usually, your pay is 10.00 CAD per hour, which gives you 1600.00 CAD per month. Which is way too little for covering your bills. Government instead of building cheap communal blocks of flats is building condos. But the cheapest condominium costs 500K CAD and show me people who can afford it....? You buy and pay monthly rent, yeah 2500.00 4500.00 per month only to cover rent. Plus 186.00 for internet and TV, 30.00 for stationary phone, 45.00 for mobile, 600.00 for monthly food for 2, plus meds, dentist, cabbies, electricity, water, then you add toilette, laundry liquid, toilet paper, towel paper, cat food, dog food, then the bill goes over 6000.00 if you wanna live in the condo. You have always private sector housing where monthly rent is from 900.00 to 2500.00, which depends on the district and quality of the apartment. For the landlord, you must pay monthly and renew lease each year. If you have roaches or bed bags, it's a bigger problem for you. Not every landlord uses paste. They use spray, which is not a roach killer at all, and whole your apartment will stink for months. Private sector has thin ceilings and wooden floors, so loud noise of your neighbour's may disturb your night rest or cigarettes. Smoke may fill up your space. Beware when getting sick. Family doc is unavailable, usually if you have one or at all if you don't.

The housing crisis is happening everywhere. The only reason I am okay is I bought my own house in Hamilton 20 years ago, and it is paid off. Nothing is grandfathered for newcomers -- they are the ones stuck with paying very high prices for housing, so they better get used to living in overcrowded conditions eg 3 working people sharing a one bedroom apartment.

I lived on the streets of Toronto for over 3 years between 1997 & 2001. I'd always been a bisexual 'loose, wild and crazy girl' as they say, and for me it was a natural progression. When I was 20 my family immigrated here from South Africa but I was way too immature so Quebec City and I didn't get along. I and a girlfriend hitchhiked out to run wild in Toronto. The fun only lasted the summer and then I spent 3 years living on the streets there. Doing 'the job' just to get by becomes a chore for sure. I spent one winter in a tent city near the lake but too many people made it a violent place. My last winter out there I spent in the Don Valley with a small group, moving our encampment every few days. I would likely have ended up dying out there but a guy I scarcely knew at the time drove all the way to T.O. and spent a week looking for me and just by luck found me when I was at my lowest and willing to go home.

1 million international student a year mainly from India , and most of them stay in canda and get jobs . canada literally gets more than one million immigrant a year , creating a housing crisis .these students are victims to literally human traficking tactics as they re been promised permanent residence and a better life in canda just to be used and left to struggle in a broken economy .

This country is utterly ludicrous. Bureaucrats and politicians exhibit sheer madness and political opportunism. I believe both Liberals and Conservatives are responsible for this situation. As a skilled migrant myself, my family and I migrated here 25 years ago. Let me illustrate with an example I'm aware of: A young woman obtained her student visa from Seneca College and arrived here with her husband and two children. Her husband secured an entry-level job (I believe that entry-level job should go to a Canadian youth), and subsequently, she brought her mother to look after their children. These children are enrolled in the local school board, and Canadians are footing the bill for their education. I don't know what economical benefit Canada is going to get out of this kind of situation. This is just one of many cases I've personally witnessed. I fail to comprehend why Canadians tolerate such foolishness.

I came here as an international student, back then you could only get your PR if you studied at an accredited university, not a career college. Back then skilled workers were required, and that is how you were able to get a PR. Canada has changed so much, multicultural has left and more and more there are two cultures dominating. I came here because I use to visit for our annual holidays then decide I liked the culture and wanted to study here. The landscape has shifted , Canadians will soon be the minority and that is not the Canada I want to be paying taxes in. \nThere are always protesters waving foreign flags demanding that the government help their families, love ones in another country, meanwhile Canadians here are loosing their homes , can't afford food, basic life necessities and living in tents. Charity should start at home first.\nResponsible tax payers cannot afford to have kids, why because the taxes we pay are too high, if we're struggling to survive why would we subject a child into this world to experience the same. However, there are millions of dollars in incentives for people who never paid in to come to Canada with their extended family members who are dependent on government support, that we the taxpayers have to finance. The aging population could be address if the affordability could be address for citizens living here and PAYING taxes. If the government wants to bring in aging populations who never worked in Canada, their families should be funding their living here including healthcare, not taxpayers. Invest in your people first , help Canadians become more skilled to fill positions that there are shortages, lower taxes to allow Canadians to have said families and replenish the population , these are the people who would always put Canada first.
