Funny how they want to blame immigration. Jobs are everywhere but employers know that immigrants are more disciplined, hard working and appreciative of the opportunities provided, when compared to the average Canadian-born citizen. I've seen it first hand. \n \nOh and, the influx of Indian immigration boosted Canada's GBP by $20 Billion, last I checked. America is a good example, Indians and Pakistanis are the most successful ethnic group, everyone else is behind. Not only that, but they have to work TWICE as hard to get HALF of what their white counterparts do. \n\nAlso, lets not forgot how unsympathetic white America was when black Americans were going through the crack epidemic. They didn't get a shred of the support that's being given out today, instead it was jail. \n\nWhite Privilege is very real and especially in countries like Canada and the United States. If white people fall through the cracks this hard en masse in a society that makes it easiest for them to succeed, then it's truly over. The decline will continue.

It is a damn disgrace that Canadian citizens are back of the line while immigrants get preferential treatment and all sorts of grants and incentives. I think white canadians are going to be the minority very soon.My small town 80 km north of Toronto has gone from 99.5%white to about 15% east Indian in a matter of a year and a half.The pressure on our infrastructure,health care,resources is going to destroy everything. This is all orchestrated to diminish the voice and influence of those who built this country.Trudeau is bringing in votes, same as Biden. They basically have imported life time Liberal voters.I wouldn't doubt they are obligated contractually to vote for Trudumb and his WEF goofs.No help for health care,homeless people but billions for immigrants and war. I am a old white man born and raised in Canada...our youth born in Canada don't give a crap about us old folks...then these young men and women that come to Canada for a education and residence show up from India...and bang in an instant I am noticed...do you know why because these young adults were raised to respect their elders...they are hard workers (some holding down three part time jobs) they pau their rent...they are polite and smart...with all this said they are also humans who have a limit. If they stay in Canada and contribute to our society here or go back to their own country using what they learned here to better off their communities in India...it doesn't change a thing...because they are so mature and i am proud that they call me a stranger UNCLE and exchange greetings to me all the time. I might not remember how to say their names but i am good with faces and i return the gestures willingly. It is true they have a hard time finding work that fits their educational title but they never give up and will work hard in any field with patience. I understand they are having a hard time but more Canadians should reach out and listen to them...they will teach you too. What a wonderful culture they bring to our country. To all the young Indian (Indus) women and men that come to Canada hold your heads up high and your parents should be proud of you.

Pains me so deeply. I work at a Hotel. Without going into detail, we house so many refugees from Sudan, Nigeria, Ukraine etc. completely for free. They are all lovely people for the most part don't mistake my meaning, but I seldom hear of such programs addressing widespread actual Canadian citzen homeless housing, nor have any of the refugees at my Hotel been Canadian citizens born and raised who were granted asylum. \n\nThe other day I had to kick out a homeless gentleman from my hotel who was sleeping in the heated stair-wells. My manager instructed me to contact the non-emergency police number and get them to escort him out and/or possibly trespass him. He was compliant, not rude and understanding and wasn't causing any property damage or bothering anyone, nor consuming drugs or anything of the sort. It pained my heart and it reminded me of the risks I may face in the future considering how fucked the housing is.\n\n100%, and I mean 100%, of the new employees we've hired in the Hotel are Indian students here on student-visas, or refugees (many Ukrainians and one African lady). And 0% of the people being housed at my Hotel are Canadian born citizens. Disgusting mess of a country with all thanks owing to J.T.

Canada is still the easiest and cheapest to for international students to enter. Most of my friends are indian international students and although its been all over the news over there that canada isnt a good place to live anymore people still go for canada because its easiest. Hopefully something changes because this has been my home most of my life.

Canada should be hiring more people like Karma to encourage these disgruntled Indian immigrants to go home. We need more permanent residents anxious to build Canada, work hard for education, careers and learning more about our wonderful country. I am a 12th generation Canadian. When my forefathers arrived here in the late 1700’s they didn’t have all the amenities that today’s immigrants are in-tilled to.They taught two world wars and struggled through a decade of depression. Immigrants arrive expecting free healthcare, education, infrastructure ect. We had generations of struggle to make Canada the wonderful safe democracy that it is. Keep the 10 requirements for eventual admission to our country. But the Mikey Mouse easy education should not be one of them. They should be required to spend their first 5 years vs the current 3 years in Canada and not India . They should be required to learning about Canadian culture, Christian based laws, learn one of our official languages and much more. I wonder if NATO is forced to go to war, how many of these complainers would agree to fight for the sovereignty of this amazing democracy.❤

As an Indian ( living in India) I agree that most students who go to Canada are the lower grade ones with poor skills. Good ones either go to the USA or Germany or help India become 4th largest from the current 5th largest economy. \n\nCanada is a cheap export destination for low caliber indian students

No really, some of these officers are badly behaved at these places, they have a very superior attitude. They are rude and have total disregard for people. Not all, but some of the time. I dread going to the Indian consulate office.

Most of the Indians who work in Tim Hortons are family members of the owner, and there is nothing wrong with that, they keep the money in the family, and Indo-Canadians work there asses off. And not to mention Indian students pay a lot more money to goto school here in Canada and they become succcesfull. Get you facts right go out there and talks to some of these workers.

Go to any Walmart and almost 70% of the staff are Indian foreign students and some of them dont even speak English.

Heres the thing: where are all the Canadians protesting about the lack of jobs? Ill see them complaining about wanting more money and inflation, but i dont see any old stock Canadians en masse complaining yet obviously theres all these Indian nationals filling jobs that didnt go to a Canadian. So where are these Canadians working?

Canada is not diverse anymore. When you go to GTA you will only see Indians and Blacks more. Australia accepts immigrants which they need. Australia don't care even if you study in Australian university but if you are not in their required profession list then you won't get PR. But in Canada you just need university degree and you can apply for immigration and you will get. Thousands of people who were rejected in Australia ended in Canada. And now international students mostly Punjabis coming for rural areas and end up becoming truck driver. Trucking industry is so saturated because of Punjabis. We don't need labour class because we have people for that. What we need is skilled people and educated which is short here.

I mean maybe the fact they can't get jobs, will make them return home. So hopefully this bad image that Canada is gathering will actually deter people from going there. I'm in Europe but I always keep an eye on Canada because I loved travelling that country. I hope life gets better for you guys soon. Im portuguese and it's the same thing here. I had dealings with the Indian consulate office in New York from 1990 to 2012. The staff back then was really bad. Government workers didn't speak nicely to people and acted as if they were better than everyone else. There are law firms that can get your tasks done quickly because these Indian lawyers know the consulate staff. They give them gifts, and the work gets done without you having to go to the consulate.

Here in my city Langley, almost all services are filled with Indians. You go to a bank, 99% are Indians, you go to supermarkets, 99% of the CS are Indians, you go to a gas station 99% of CS are Indians, where ever you go, you see Indians. Indians are everywhere in every sector. Most jobs here are taken by Indians. Looks like haft of India is here. I don't think there's no shortage of jobs for Indians here.

Canada sucks now. Houses prices are stupidly unaffordable. There is horrible weather. The immigrants indians and chinese have taken over the city. The jobs are scarce. Health care system is FREE BUT REALLY HORRIBLE Go elsewhere.

Numbers reported are true and its going to increase in 2024. I live in the capital and I see dozens of distress home sales due to increased mortgages. People face high taxation, heavily overburdened healthcare system, unaffordable rentals, loss of jobs, grocery prices over the roof, rapidly increasing crime rate and robberies, uncertainty about the good days again. Canada used to be a good place to settle, but now there are dozens of other countries that are welcoming with an affordable peaceful life. For Indians, there is absolutely no reason to hunt for a job or better life here as it involves start from the scratch for everything. India is rushing to become the fastest growing economy in the world with millions of opportunities and a solid political leadership, a history in the making.

With many prestigious universities in India, it’s not hard to figure out that an Indian going abroad under the guise of studies never intended to return back to his/her homeland.

India brings a complete opposite religion, language and ideology to foreign countries. It’s the Indian the does not participate in community activities, and integrate into a true Canadian national identity. This refusal has ultimately resulted in Indian being discouraged and quickly blaming others for the problem they have. If rent in downtown Vancouver on the 25th floor is to expensive, maybe try moving to more rural communities in Canada, where costs are different in living. If you come from a poor punjab province in India whereas you’ve sold the farm to come , then don’t expect a downtown Toronto sky rise , 1500 square foot 17th floor underground heated parking, to be the dream destination of your vision. It’s comparable to moving from the punjab to downtown Delhi and expecting the same cost comparisons to the punjab. Unfortunately it’s not sad to see the Indian people go. Hopefully Canada will begin immigration of more cultural like minded people and more people that have religious alliances, than some completely opposite ideology than a Canadian nationalist.

Lived in same Canadian province my whole life, here’s a solution to immigrants complaining go home to your country. Canada has been ruined by immigration but to be more specific Indians, they are everywhere, in PEI every single service industry job has been taken over by them and so a stigma is created working in fast food, gas stations, ect. No other race works there but Indians, it’s easy to spot an Indian on the road too, if not a massive dumb Punjabi sticker on their door just look at the license plate, you will see their surname every time. It’s a joke. It’s worse when you go to the gym and are surrounded by 80% Indians as some smell Soooo bad. So please, just go home.
