Help stop the invasion of the United States! I don’t care what your political views are, we need to take care of our people first. Not some other country’s people. Stop funding the war in Ukraine and stop these illegal immigrants from crossing our borders.

Sometimes we get what we deserve and sometimes we get what we dont deserve. When unjustly getting what wasnt deserved,we need to ask ourselves what actions we can take not to fall into a trap of being vulnerable to it again.Think outside the box.

Y’all r dumb, you say “let’s help the homeless in the US first” but really most homeless people here are LAZY, or drug addicts who don’t want to be helped. You say “let’s give jobs to the homeless in the US instead of immigrants” but who’s actually putting in that work and taking jobs? The Mexicans. I don’t see no American homeless people posted outside Home Depot lookin for a job.\n\nYes, there are many homeless people who have injuries or who need help getting access to jobs - it’s important we help them still but those who are willing to work hard and push will reap harvest just how it is. If you had kids, born and raised in Mexico would you stay? I wouldn’t.

They need to learn the local language. That goes for immigrants in Brazil too. This also goes for foreigners in countries like Colômbia and Ecuador. Nothing against foreigners, but many will work for cheap wages, thus keeping real wages down. And Westerners living in the countries I mentioned drive up the cost of living because home sellers take advantage of their ignorance.

Sadly with this type of chaos you need to do something impactful to make people fear coming over illegally. Make an example of a few and it will deter this from happening. Our policies are too lenient and this is why our country is falling apart. We made it where the criminals get everything and the regular citizens are victims and can’t even do anything to retaliate. We were given the rights to protect ourselves but our weak government has decided to take that right away and made it that if you kill a trespasser who is coming to hurt you you yourself goto jail. I live in Canutillo, Texas, Suburb of El Paso. Migrants cross illegally on a daily basis. Are we going to have enough food and shelter for all of these people. Probably not! This is unfair for our homeless population. What about our veterans that have actually fought to defend this country? If we can't take care of our own problems, how can we take care of another countries problems. Who is vetting these people. No one. Canada only allows people who have a college degree. Illegal entry is illegal in any OTHER countries. I'm a Canadian living in the UK now. I love Canada with every piece of my heart but couldn't see myself ever being anything other than working poor there. I went to college but couldn't get a job in my field so had to take whatever minimum wage I could get, couldn't afford rent let alone buying a property so moved in with my parents and there isn't any support from the government for average citizens, only if you're an immigrant, disabled etc. I'm not against helping immigrants, disabled people or those that need it, just sucks that if you don't fall into certain categories it means you'll always struggle in your minimum wage job.\nLife in the UK isn't perfect but I was able to find a decent job here, the public transit is actually usable, phone plans and other bills/groceries tend to be cheaper and the working conditions are significantly better. Like I get 32 paid days off a year in my average job which is just wild to me! In Canada my sister who is a police officer only gets 15 days off a year and that's a lot compared to other people, like I never use to get any paid time off at my previous jobs. I miss parts of living in Canada but for the time being the UK is making my life a lot easier.

big problem with the housing is also trudeau taking in so many immigrants and refugees before having enough available housing for everybody. I think they were taking in 200k people a year. while we need atleast 1million new houses within the next 10 years in order to supply enough to the population. There was also an issue with forieign purchases where people from other countries were buying houses in canada and nobody living in them. Trudeaus votes comes from majority indian people and arabic since thats a lot of the population in canada, and to win those votes and get more hes friendly with them accepting a lot of immigrants from those countries, its not a bad thing since a lot are very well educated and their peaceful people for the most part, but the problem is there isn't enough housing. Even renting has become competitive , owning is near impossible without help. Trudeau really messed up the country, houses are riduclously expensive and they often go into bidding wars if in a good area, banks interest rates keep going up now, loans are harder to take out, sadly we need to limit the amount of immigrants that come into the country until the right number of houses are built in the country, if anything new and major cities need ot be build in other locations with jobs in order to get more people spread out around the provinces. Once there is enough houses and jobs i believe the doors should be open to whomever wishes to come (obviously with a background check) but until then there should be a limit so the houses stop going up.

I think Canada economy is not as flawed as this video propose. Instead I would say that Canada as develop a strange equilibrium by surfing on the American economy. It does not need to take risk : to be entrepreneurial, to pay for research. AKA, Canada is out sourcing the risk out of its economy and I wouldn't be surprise if Canada is always performing relatively better when recessions happen.

while I agree with a lot of this video theres one crucial aspect this video neglects and same with the commenters here.. POPULATION. \n\nCompared to countries like denmark, sweden, japan, france, uk, etc. we have a much bigger country to maintain landmass wise. Infrastructure. We talk about weather daily. I never realized until internationals pointed that out that we are obsessed with weather in sask lol. \n\n Our housing market is a joke and I agree we need to invest more in buisnesses but at the same time we need affordable housing, we are in a weird spot. As far as working etc goes people commenting here lol the golden years of the 80s are gone old timers, my parents realize this that you guys were spoiled in one of the greatest time periods in human history - post WWII boom and the effects. I could go on and on how the 70s-90s were one of the best time periods in modern history for various reasons but I wont. There are problems internationally, we live in a globalist world. We still have it good. Go travel and make international friends. This is nothing that we are dealing with at the moment. All I will say though is leave the huge metropolitans like Toronto and Vancouver. Everyone wants to go there because they think 'theres more opportunity' ugh. Theres opportunity across canada but if everyone things like that there will be problems. The idea of Ontario or BC is just a big nope for me (although I go to BC every couple years, love it there I would not want to live there).

These stats should also take into account the massive population difference between the US and Canada to give a more accurate representation if possible.
