PART 1..........I am in Canada now. i came as student and now on work permit. Really they sell a dream, as britishers are institutionalized THIEF, that mean they theft other country resources but using policies and rules. Now you say why do not i come back then, reason because I have spend 25 lakh rupee in education to have good life, but now i am working like labour to earn those 25 lakhs money and when i earn i can come back and live with my family. Speaking as someone living in South Vancouver, here are two rules I live by:\n\n1) Never leave your bike outside for extended periods of time. Especially closer to a downtown area because it will get stolen. If thieves can't get through your lock, they'll just strip the bike everything that isn't locked down. It's actually very common to see just a bike frame locked to something while missing every other part. \n\n2) Don't go to downtown Vancouver as it's drug city. It's the one downtown area in metro Vancouver that I say has zero redeeming factors. All the other neighbouring cities are nice, with Richmond in my opinion being the best of the bunch, but downtown Vancouver? It's the closest experience to Seattle in Canada that you'll find.

Even though I am a Hindu sikh etc if there are rules of the land and the institutions, they should be respected above religion. If we feel uncomfortable in foreign countries, then we should stay back in our own. But they can’t allow weapons on the campus in plain sight and Kripan is a weapon. Lucky you , you have the means to get out & adventure. Canada isn’t that bad compare to other poor countries. However, everything you said are very true. Rules Rules & Rules , tax after tax after tax that’s why health care isn’t really free. And you forgot one important thing, tho you’re successful during your prime age career wise, when you’re 65 & retired, ( without Private Pension ) government pension isn’t enough even to rent a decent bachelor apartment of your own. Back to poverty level. Check it out. Oh well, I’m old but I enjoyed my early years like you . let's be honest as an international student I am in awe of how some internationals can study in Canada when they can't even speak English properly .. when I came here I needed to pass IELTS and get a band 7 for everything all my documents and transcripts were directly sent from the official email of my institution. I need to pass an exam before enrolling for my course, I have criminal, abuse registry, and child registry checks in my country and even when I am in Canada. Did all the immunizations needed and abide by their law i need to submit all these documents every 6 months access. to the policy of the program I am doing. And as an international remember you are coming to Canada they have their own culture so you need to respect and adjust to it, not Canada adjusting to you... even though Canada is diverse they have its own rules so yes adapt to the place where you are. And to them blaming the agency you the people who are using them knew exactly what they were getting into now you are complaining I did all my applications through DIY as IRCC is a direct applicant why need agents for application. Ircc should also question why a person needs an agent to process their applications. If they can't understand basic instruction and basic legal matters would you think those students will be able to survive the education system here in Canada? let's be real a lot of students are taking short-term courses, short like 8 months, and yes to get PR (I wouldn't lie cause that would be hypocrisy all international students have that aim, and if you say no just stay in your country). Now this a lesson to IRCC that they really need to make a thorough background before offering a PR permit ..and please when you are in public speak English respect the people around you... and don't speak too loud in your language when you are in working places.. uphold professionalism again remember you are in Canada a french English speaking country. And don't start with me about being racist.... cause it is plainly common sense.

There needs to be a rule that Canadian educational institutions cannot have more than 1/3 of their student base being non-Canadian students. For every 2 Canadians in that school, only 1 foreign student is allowed, otherwise, that college will have to hand over all excess tuition directly to the government.

What a surprising rule in Canada. You let your people take drugs in account of liberty. But you never allow a foreign student to see their answers sheets in case they have attempted all the questions, but the student declared failed in results. Look into it.

Immigration is out of hand. Our hospitals are overrun, plus all other services, and social programs. No country can sustain the effect of such an onslaught. What gives any government, elected by the people to look after their best interests, the power to over rule the will of the majority, when it comes to such matters. This isn't democracy, it's a dictatorship.

let me set the record straight here. International students pay four to fivefold as much tuition as locals do, and injects billiions of dollars into the Canadian economy. They have long become a cash cow in the eyes of canadian institutions and nobody ever voices support for 'em not even once. How sick and ungrateful was that? And now they're held accountable for, idk, housing crisis? For god's sake, why the heck nobody criticise the government's refugee-taking spree? Under Trudeau's ruling, Canada has imported way more refugees than any other nation from the middle of nowhere. At least international students has made siginificant economic contribution to the country. But what have those refugees done to the country except draining your resources? I mean c'mon fellas, do your fact checking and soul searching and don't lay blames on international students blindly, they deserves credits wherever credits are due.

I'm only halfway through but feel I need to comment and well I'm not exactly a new Canadian. But I was born the but grew up in New Zealand. And well why not . I moved over there in 2014 with full rights as a citizen. My trade wasn't recognised. Canada has its own rules about everything. You need to have training to pour drinks in a bar wtf.! But yea I came wanting a better life and well thankfully I wound up in Calgary so eventually I had the money to leave. And come home where know having seen the Canadian shit show I'm killing it here. It saddens me and yes I was that asshole that got trudeau on there cos I seen one rousing speech where he invoked his dad Pierre. And I fell for it. And not to lie I look old Canadian so I fit right in English is my first language and all that. And funnily enough it was the first time in my life where I could say fucking immigrants. It's a brutal place a brutal work climate and well there's a lot that's nice but when it's bad it's dog ear dog. I feel really sad about what's happening, all the mass illegal immigration and yet your a criminal for noticing it. A lot is very wrong, don't get me wrong nz is doing all the same shit too. I went to Canada for prosperity and to change my life lesson I learnt was go home ans do better and that's fucked.

All of the reasons except for #2 and #7 are due to the liberal government policies in BC. For example #3 is a rising issue because they changed how the drug laws were enforced by the police about 20-30yrs ago. Not arresting open drug use in public like they should be as an example. Now they have stores you can buy cocaine in BC. Abusing drugs and homelessness and random violence all go hand in hand.\n\nThe cost of rent in BC is due to foreign home/property ownership getting absolutely out of control. No meaningful rules or regulations to slow this down have been made. The population growth talked about is the unsustainable immigration the Trudeau government has been doing for the past 5 years.
