All people have the right to practice their religion but when you move to a new country, you can’t expect that country to change everything for your religion you have to adapt you have to share you have to compromise, and this is the problem with some people not all in different religions not just Muslims There are many people in society that take their religion to the extreme and that’s the problem. I can’t believe that these two actually expect or assume there’s something wrong with Canada because there’s no daily five times alarm that their prayer should be practised in every city in Canada at least two people speak very good English. They’re obviously very intelligent but it boggles my mind why they think there’s something wrong with Canada because there isn’t an obvious Muslim environment all over Canada I don’t understand this

We are living through something that is, as far as I can tell, unique in all of human history. Namely, the deliberate destruction of a people and its civilisation by its governing class. Of course, countless governing classes have destroyed their societies and civilisations through disastrous wars or economic policies etc, but I am not aware of a governing class that has set about it deliberately. Over the course of the last two or three hundred years, western societies become the most open, democratic and prosperous societies ever seen. All of that is now being systematically destroyed.

Well atleast they’re doing something about it, rather than complaining pointlessly on social media blaming a country of 1.4 billion people who for the most part don’t have any blame in this problem.

This is the reason why I don’t rent to Canadians. I have so many horror stories like these. Being an owner myself, I work 7 days a week with no rest days. And try to create something for ourselves. And mostly Canadian tenants try to abuse the system. It’s so difficult and don’t want to deal with this, so am scared to death to give to rent to anyone.

Im in BC . I got rid of the tenants cuz they would be late. Filled 15 non payment / late payment notices with the tenancy branch and delivered to tenant. The tenancy branch did absolutely NOTHING. 8 months later and loosing $36, 000 I made the decision to never rent ever. I got Airbnb license and am glad I made the right choice. I make the same rental income with no headache, and less use of the house. My two friends who had rental properties just stopped renting and sold them and put their monies into other businesses. Id say if you are renting, sell them and do something else cuz its a no win situation in canada. These politicions know there are more renters to give them the votes.

Human race is and always has been for the most part a vile, violent and evil species. That is the definite constant throughout human history. It's almost fitting that the imminent environmental collapse will wipe most of us out, regardless if we are Christians, Muslims, rich or poor. Canadians have zero ballocks - they are too kind, passive, and are characterized to be taken advantage off. Canadians do nothing except complain and follow like sheep. When will they realized that if they want to change something, that they need to do something about it...before it's too late.

This came up in my feed, I'm in England ??????? and I've always rented as finances have never really been enough to get on the property ladder. I started off in a Private rental and thankfully I'm now in Social housing with an Assured Tenancy so it would be extremely difficult for the housing association to evict me and they have to prove to fault in court and they can't serve me a no fault notice. However rent has always been my number 1 priority bill, when I rented privately I had a Standing order set up with the bank and they drew the money out every month to pay the landlord. I set it so they drew it 3 days before the rent payment date and to account for weekends as banks don't pay out on weekends. In England ??????? rent is classed as paid when it leaves the tenants account not when a landlord receives it, so that's why I set up to leave 3 days early so it never debited late. Now I live in Social housing and it's been fantastic for me and my needs and I'm super lucky as there isn't much social housing about here anymore. I now pay rent by the method requested by the housing association which is direct debit and I pay it on the due date now as direct debits are credited to your rent account on the actual due date even if it's a weekend and then bank draws it out on the Monday. Rent is so important, I can call the housing association if anything is broken or not working and they send someone to fix it without any extra charge to me as it's all in with the rent. You have to pay your rent and if you can't afford it then look for something cheaper and give notice to your landlord.

BTW - 70K students are left and right being told about now apply for asylum. Also asylum seekers are being paid 800 to 2K every month taxpayer money too. Though with Pakistan government, Canadian government may be cooking something. We are just on UK path, run by loyalists.

I've worked my ass off in this country, paid insane amounts of taxes. Do I not deserve a place? I came here alone, not with a village. But some people are doing that and causing major damage. And I get bunched up with them and have to suffer the problems I did not cause.

A Canadian citizen of British roots will come to you in 2024 complaining about immigration that made his life miserable.. forgetting that his ancestors were immigrants themselves 200 yrs ago. i just asked a.i why construction costs are through the roof and one of three reasons is increased fuel costs ... and shortage of construction workers ... the real problem is the supply and demand ... if you don't agree people should think about what happens when not enough people are buying something at the retail stores - the thing will go on sale. Don't forget the WEF is in Switzerland where they have anonymous Swiss bank accounts and ten billionaires for every politician who attends ... no chance for global real estate investment corporations to bribe our politicians to make life almost unbearable for too many Canadians by bringing in too many people so the price of real estate goes unchecked eh ? It's a vicious cycle now ... construction costs are too high now due to too much immigration ... immigration must be slowed down !!!

It is not fair to the landlords renters those don’t pay rents for years. \nLandlords have to spend money to up keep the properties.\nNot that renters don’t pay they also sue landlords if something go wrong.. They should and must put theirs feet in landlords shoes and see how they feel.

Of course this is designed to show the tenants in a poor light - which is what they deserve! After 3 months there should be an automatic eviction by a department of the Sheriff unless devastating personal circumstances like losing an arm or something. I dont want to hear the coping arguments about Fed vs Provincial. This country is broken and every tax cent should go towards benefiting the people, not the select minor few who get fat and rich from abusing the system.

I'm an indian immigrant to Canada myself, my family moved here in the 00s. We worked hard to integrate and build a new life for ourselves here. The new migrants are a disgrace and an embarrassment. I hope the govt does something to address this soon, they're turning canada into a slum

stop buying property just to rent it out maybe get a real job instead of taking over properties that you dont intend to live in making the housing crisis even worse. same goes for the people who loaned out to make a bunch of apartments airbnb. you aren't providing anything, your taking something thats available off the market and then repackaging it like its helpful. its really a big part of why housing is so expensive no one wants to work they just want to be landlords.

If it’s taken four years, the landlord was doing something wrong. The LTB doesn’t take four years to evict. The reporter should have been asking more questions and reporting more details.

I think this has something to do with it being him not being a corporation or using a lawyer cuz in both cases they are private rentals. Them corps will kick you out over 1 month late rent while still holding your last months rent deposit!

I dont wanna be mean about this. Human life, regardless of who it it is special. But if a bunch of American ran into Mexico like this, if Iranians tried to plow into Iraq, someone would be shot at.
