We don't need to fix the canada border, we need to fix the rest of the world so people stop coming to America

lol there is a lot of ignorance about Canada and Canadians here. We are not nice, we are passive aggressive, we love foreigners who come to this country to launder their dirty money in real estate (up up go the housing prices), the RCMP is the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (not patrol) and Mexicans who have no previous ties or status in Canada DO need a visa to enter. Canada has accepted an insane amount of Uber / amazon driving immigrants over the past few years to boost the GDP, unfortunately our infrastructure across the country is lacking. We don't have enough homes, schools, hospitals, doctors, good jobs for the people that are already here. Immigrants are conned and sold a lie, going to the USA only makes sense. Both of our countries need immigration reform.

It is false that mexicans don't need visa to enter in Canada, the visa was imposed once again a couple of months ago after asking Trudeau countles times to do so. What else is not true in this youtube? Something true is that Trudeau's immigration policies are a huge catastrophie also for Canada specialy Quebec where most of the immigrants (refugy demanders) were entering from years from USA by the Roxham Rd and via airport with false student visas (India, Pakistan, other) and turist visa from Mexico. I can't believe how in the world people voted for Trudea all those years, can't believe!!! Hope now is the time to tell him to return to his theater clases, he is good at commedy, that is true.

Well the fact is the country can use the people ( as there is massive amount of space and manufacturing always needed) \nbut Nyers need to think outside the apple and see the opportunity to work with local agencies and see how to better the country. Not only is the rest of country waiting to meet us and collaborate (except maybe Baltimore & Boston if its valid to say still) \nbut there is so many opportunities that can develop from having a bunch of ready and determined to thrive people around your block! I am Canadian & I seriously have no idea what is wrong with our leader Trudeau. I apologize for his ignorance & stupidity. Both Canada & the US need some serious changes in our leadership soon. It’s getting way out of hand & they put laws in place so that real actual citizens of the US & Canada can’t even defend ourselves against this migrant invasion of our countries. Sounds to me like we need to build an international jail that houses international criminals. Can't send them back to the country they came from, cant send them to the country they are a citizen of and cant sent them back to the country they were birthed in... okay fine.. international jail and let the whole world share the cost.. this might make neighboring countries take action to stop from having to pay more to jail more people. As a Canadian - the immigration tom-foolery that is happening is just as bad up here. Our Prime Minister is a handsome idiot, he was a drama teacher before he became Prime Minister (I know, make that one make sense). He has no idea what he's doing, he's being used as a puppet for more experienced extortionists-erm-politicians. With the help of his party members and a coalition with another party, in less than ten years he has taken Canada from a great place to visit and live to basically what's happening in NY. Crime in our cities has gone up dramatically. Theft is on the rise. Homelessness and drug use is through the roof. Immigration is out of control. And our government also prioritizes immigrants and asylum seekers before born and raised Canadian citizens. As a Canadian who is tired of the nonsense that's been happening in the world this past decade, I wish our government would put on their big boy pants and do something about this uncontrolled immigration. Things are bad here too. Our government seems to keep changing policies and laws to further accomodate the insanity that is happening, I promise, not every Canadian wants these changes to happen. We are just as sick and tired of all this nonsense as our American cousins. I wouldn't be surprised if both countries at some point united in objective and worked together to fix this problem - but that's not gonna happen anytime soon as long as these dummies are in power. But believe me, the regular people of Canada see what you're going through because it's also happening in our own back yard. This again is why upstate and downstate New York needs to be divided into two separate states us upstate New Yorkers cannot continue to carry the financial burden of the mistakes that the downstate New York City folk are choosing to make! The best way to deal with this is to make them more afraid of coming here than they are of staying where they came from. The blame for the immigration crisis really lies on the governments of the countries these people are coming from. If they had not failed their people, they wouldn't need to leave and go somewhere else

Context:\n\nAround a year or two ago driving back home with some friends after visiting Niagara Falls, we were pulled over because my car’s headlights were off. I didn’t stop immediately when they turned their police lights on because I didn’t think I did anything wrong but did eventually pull over after realizing they were indeed trying to pull me over. \n\nAfter I pulled over, two officers quickly got out and one of them rushed to my passenger side mirror and very aggressively yelled at me, “why didn’t you pull over” etc. I was very surprised by his reaction and quickly explained that I was a fairly new driver (about 6 months of driving experience at the time). He went away for a few seconds to cool off and later apologized for his behavior (very respectable).\n\nMain Focus:\n\nNow, the interesting part is while the officer was cooling off, the other officer wanted not just my ID but everyone else’s’ in my car as well. I still to this day do not think that is normal, however, I haven’t been pulled over enough to confirm that. Anyways, some of my friends didn’t have officials IDs on them but they did have their student ID. The police wanted that as well. They took a long time to what I assume, conduct a very thorough check on everyone’s ID, making sure nothing is suspicious and everyone is from America. The whole encounter had to be around 20 to 30 minutes long, it was very very long. \n\nTakeaway:\n\nFrom what I experienced that day, I strongly believe that people were at least crossing the northern border around 1 year ago and most likely even earlier. There are bus services that go straight to NYC from Buffalo which is right across the border from Canada to the US. However, I’m not sure if you need ID to use those services. \n\nFor those who read this comment, use this information however you will, I hope it helps even just a little in making some sort of change. \n\nHopefully, there won’t be an increase on how long it takes me to get past border patrol to Canada and back ?. I also hope that our taxes decrease because too much of it are being payed for services to aliens when some of our locals are still stuck in the streets.

People from 66 different countries are not suffering in any way. Maybe they have poverty, so they need to be an entrepreneur. They want to steal from you and take whatever they can get because our stupid cities are giving taxpayer money away for free. Why would anyone live in New York City?

In NYC, migrants from South America can go to 800 2nd Ave Manhattan and go up to the 2nd floor to the Embassy and get papers filled out, get a passport, get your reloadable debt card, medical, schooling, housing voucher and live like a king for a few months. Over 200 line up every morning here and several hundred a day go through to get this. Can we be mad at the migrants, NO. Though I can be mad at the government for allowing and promoting it. When I got leukemia from the job the utility company fought Workers comp and stopped my pay to starve us out. I ended up homeless with a wife and 4 children. All social services in NY could do was offer us $13 a day per child for food allowance and nothing more. We couldn’t even get Medicare. The food allowance was only for 7 days. It’s a disgrace how citizens are treated. Come here illegally and they offer you the world. These politicians need to be voted out. Social services was developed to help those citizens in need and it’s not happening. People need to realize that government contractors (usually family of politicians) are hired to help these “migrants” . These contractors even from the UN are in Panama helping migrants get here. If you research it you will get angry for sure. My elected officials in Northern NY know what’s going on and are behind it, they don’t even hide it.

Old mother India has out spawned its own pond..Its country CANNOT and DOES not offer a future to its people. Thats a failure by any normal standards. What gets me is, just how many millions have just arrived in other countries in the world. Their numbers and communities exported and imported so solidly everywhere. Within 2 years here in the uk, I am sure there are now, somehow more Indians here than ALL the other groups put together. Its astounding to see the indigenous and others be outnumbered by one group (south Asian continentals) in such s sudden and impactful way. With these movements Politics change, voter types, the , the shared future vision, shared cultural norms, etc resources like public transport trains, rosd traffic, shops, hospitals, public spaces are jam packed overall. No more quiet or isolated spaces, just 24hr pushing, shoving, shouting, mobile phone worship and loud speaker, conference video calling (my God this one grates my soul) destroys the respectful unspoken social and shared rule of EVERYONE else somehow, its insane! The place has no time or space to think. Blink and your place has gone. In every sense: social opportunities, place in queues job opportunities(as they set up internal networks that u are excluded from) aka as smugglers and their smuggled, housing bidding, corrupting of housing laws, benefit fraud all massive problems for local authorities and larger government overall. It's not even just in Brampton even 1 to 2 hours away immigrant and international students take all customer service jobs to the point that Canadians can barely get hired into these roles because we have expectations and rights that we worked for and I've seen these immigrants willing to work for less than legal minimum wage and they do not stand up for themselves or work towards having any shared rights. In addition many politicians on both sides of the aisle are rental landlords so only stand to profit from low rental vacancies and cramming as many people into a small space as possible. They've also cut funding to a lot of post-secondary institutions who rely on inflating tuition cost for international students. At my current role on a team of 15 people plus one manager there are only three white people, born and raised Canadians. The rest are all Indians including the manager and will frequently talk amongst themselves loudly in Punjabi while we're trying to serve customers in the English language. That's actually against policy but Canadians are so outnumbered by immigrants and specifically Indians in this place that it never gets enforced properly. I've never been anti-immigration but it's gotten so bad in Canada especially in places like Ontario that I'm now against it and will tell anyone regardless of their skin color to avoid immigrating here. I've been on a wait list for a doctor for over 11 years, I know people who have died from cancer due to delayed referrals due to long wait list for additional screening, it's insane and absolutely ridiculous especially considering the amount of taxes I currently pay and have paid my entire life as a born and raised Canadian.\n\nAlso it's absolutely true every single one is either taking or has taken post-secondary studies in business admin or management. We don't need more people in these fields we need Healthcare sector workers and not a single one that I've spoken with which again is quite a few studied anything related to medicine Healthcare nursing... not one.

In most of history, a country would consider this an act of war. Another country can’t just allow a massive flood of foreign entities into another nations borders and not have it be considered an act of aggression. The USA should annex Canada. Clearly, they are not capable of running their own nation and protecting their own borders.\n\nIf the US were to annex Canada controlling the borders would be easy in the north if you just shut down the ports and airports. There are no countries in north of it to enter from on land. No need to build a ridiculously huge expensive wall like some people are trying to say in the comments.

This situation is a major security threat, whether people want to admit it or not. Most just need help but there's too many bad actors taking advantage. The border program is about as effective as our welfare system. No enforcement of the laws and no oversight, so it's easy for people to take advantage.

Once they get a few hundred thousand, like the southern states, their open border liberal policies will really hit them in the gut. But any of these people who are liberals and are complaining need to be quiet and accept their progressive policies.

Just remember that the Canadian population of the whole country is less than the population in the State of California. We are also spread out over a land mass that is bigger than the whole of the United States. We don't really have the vast amount of people needed to completely control the longest boarder in the world. So while the government needs to up their involvement in this situation, patrolling this boarder is impossible.

We need to put them back on a bus and send them to canada!! And the government needs to Canada if they let them cross without us id we will hold them responsible and accountable for those people!!! Because this is what they are doing to help the democrat/liberal party that Canada government supports get the votes to keep a liberal in office so they can keep getting support for the crazy bs thats going on in Canada over the last 4 years....

Love how they can get help honestly I do but it is not fair to everyone else specially the families that were born here and needed help for years already. There's no chance that these people will be able to afford apartments at legal occupancy numbers even if they get a job. If they provide housing, the should provide it in a cheap location far from NYC. That policy would be a powerful disincentive not to come to NYC. However, ICE needs to do its job, and the Northern border states need to send out the National Guard, put up cameras, razor wire to easily accessible places and arrest people for trespassing on private land and bar cabs and buses to transport people without them passing through immigration.

We barely have the infrastructure for the people already in the country, we dont need anymore. This country really needs to "rethink" its asylum laws.
