I have been to India and I was appalled at what I saw. It is a cultural thing, as they simply do not observe the rules of the road. They do not observe lanes and swerve all over the place...There are many deadly accidents and this is just accepted as being normal... The population is so huge that one human life is apparently not worth very much to them. To turn a newly arrived immigrant from India loose on the Canadian highways before having undergone extensive Canadian based diver training and testing is INSANE.

Did immigrants not look in to things like this before wanting to live in Canada? I am going to be honest. All though I have lived in Canada 20 years ago. Felt very much at home. I also saw a country that is far from being better on the important topics for living a life. People want to immigrate go to countries where they can. In Denmark immigrants are not wanted, but is a more balanced country on most topics to live in if you want better. ???

This is too much all at once ...Canada knew it had a shrinking aging population last century..plenty of time to have a gradual tapered immigration. Having too many come in at the same time is just plain dumb when the country was not ready with all social services and housing . Honestly as a life long Canadian if I can find a better place to live I will move there...never thought I would say that.

And also in the end there isn't much consumer protection in the US. Many businesses have quite shady ways of getting your money out there. We feel a lot safer financially in Canada although there are breaches here too sometimes. I believe you need to make a good combined $300,000 depending where you live in order to make a good living in the US but the only reason why I would move really is for the climate although I would move to Mexico before moving to the US because generally speaking, Mexicans are friendlier. Very generally speaking.

I have lived abroad for last 47 years, with god's blessings and grace life has been good, have pension and free medical treatment doctors medicine,i travel to India every year but medical treatment is a scam there and any thing which is simple abroad is complicated in India especially if they know you are living abroad they make it more complicated or scam you especially for medical treatment, traffic in Bombay is terrible, takes hours to move around in cabs , public transport its not possible to travel, so much or garbage around and pollution and the heat and rain its impossible to get out the house starting March until September its terrible luckily September to March can manage in India and its winter time abroad during that time,if it was not for the winter abroad my first choice would be abroad compared to India, people who are used to comfortable life and maids in India can't manage abroad, even I can easily afford a maid when I m in India I do my own house work in India as i do it abroad\nThe millions of Indian who live abroad complain but never coming back for good\nSorry to say indian are the most racist even among themselves caste, religion, State,and 99% of indian are fake and show off much more than their worth

Sure toronto has a housing crisis from immigration but that doesn’t account for the rest of the provinces and territories, or even other canadian cities. Someone above asked why so much Indians. you see indian student's out there - yes they had to pay 20K-40000CAD FEES to colleges + now a days 20,600 CAD GIC to Banks in Canada. \nEach in total spends 40-80k cad. \n\nAnd every day from the tim cup , pizza/ burger to food delivery you see indian. Student/ work permit holders/ pr they work up to built our canada. \nTalk about health care ( Doctors,nurses,psw,dentist) Transportation, \nhard- cheap labour,\n IT projects, Constructions, mechanics....name it you have INDIAN playing a major role. \n\nHow did canada expanded and devolped so well ? I live in India, and I can confirm that majority of the youngters here want to migrate to a foreign country. Even I went to Dubai to work, but came back and pretty much settled here. Many people resign their jobs and migrate. I really don't understand. Looks like it is a trend which will change in future.

Some of those students look much older then what I think a student would be. I shop at a independent grocery store not part of a chain well I know all the ladies that work at the cash registers about 2 weeks ago I go shopping I thought I was in a different country everyone working the cash registers was from India all students but let's remember give business owners a payout for hiring these students so the business saves money and get cheap labour iam against this it's counter productive for Canada.

Who in the right mind would come to Canada to study paying so much money in student tuition and not hope to become a citizen? It’s not their fault that they’ve been scammed out of money and now kicked out of the country because of poor administrative decisions. \n\nDual intent (of studying and wanting to stay) is completely legal and worked for decades. Lots of truth in this video. I lived in Canada for 28 years now. I was just in Germany for a 3 month long vacation and what a difference compared to Canada. So much cheaper and better food in Germany and rents are actually affordable with cheap public transport. Weather is also a lot milder and more comfortable in winter and summer. I think Canadians don't fully realize how incredibly inflated the prices for the necessities are here. I now realize that I live in a country that is shamelessly trying to suck their people dry. Canadians are just too subdued and are just letting it happen. Every day you wait will make it that much harder to turn this around.

You have every right to be proud of where you're from and proud of what your country does and what it stands for unfortunately for me I don't align with that. .
