I was wondering if you could make a video of what would be the best school in Canada Toronto in order to study English, I have looked over finding several schools such as EF, KAPLAN, EC English, ILSC, CES, among many others, but honestly as a mexican results me very hard to choose the best one, take in consideration budget, and quality of learning, would be great if you tell us where did you learn English in Canada, because your English grammar, speaking and fluency is awesome...

So here is the thing about what you have said about retraining and going back to school over here in Canada..\nMy wife has spent ten years going to universities in BC becoming a counselor but now we have moved to BN they want her to spend another 4 years proving to someone in NB that she can do the job she has been doing for 15 years , oh and she is a Canadian!\nI have 20 years experience as a plumber even before I moved to Canada, I prove this to the canadain goverment I can do my job get my visa. Then you have to do this all over again because the unions are really in charge over here, they dont want people like me moving here from the UK taking their jobs as they put it...\nWhy say to someone that, hey you can come over as you are exactly what we need! then tell them they have to go back to Collage and sit more exams and do schooling all over again.. I came over as a Plumber been here ten years and have worked as a plumber in Canada for 3 years tops as it was getting harder to get work, what is the point in this? \nAnd don't even think about leaving one province for another and expecting to be able to just do your job, that is not going to happen.. If I had known what I know now about Canada before I came here I would still be in the UK

I've heard the the us Death Rate is more higher than that and the us has one of the worst health care in the world so you would expect a higher death rate no offence ofcourse

I grew up in Edmonton and left Canada 30 years ago because the Edmonton Police simply would not leave me alone. I couldn't even drive my car around the block without winding up in a courtroom. The police harassed my parents for years after I left hoping to find me. (i.e. STAASI). Now I live in subtropical Australia and still drive the same Oldsmobile. I never have legal problems here and at one stage owned three houses. In Canada I am labelled as a racist but here I have a Chinese wife and my daughter is fluent in Mandarin. The reason that taxes are so high in Canada is that Multiculturalism costs money. Every time some monument or cultural center is built, someone has to pay for it. My greatest disdain of Canadian society is the political correctness. I remember before 1984 when one could tell a joke without fear of incrimination.

This White Canadian way is what needs to leave Canada. I would love to explore the Northern part of the continent I live on, but the colonial country of Canada just has a disgusting influence on this region of the world. Would rather travel in Russia or Northern Europe at this point. Forget about me moving there. Way too late for that one Canada don’t care if I was Canada’s greatest hope past what Canada thought of me I wouldn’t take payment to live in Canada. An absolutely disgusting country built on the beautiful burial grounds of the people who actually belonged there.

I would tell em to do one and remind them that they live in a Christian country and ALWAYS WILL!\nEnd of!!!!!

My wife and I paid over a Million Dollars in Taxes (over 40 Years!) to get “Free Health Care” and a Government Pension of $ 500.00 a month! Had I Invested one Million into Google or Apple ? instead, I would be Living NOW in Monaco ??!!

Thank you for your video but I completely disagree with the idea of total assimilation. No one should feel the need to totally assimilate with a different culture. If I like my culture, obviously that's what makes me happy but that doesn't mean that I don't want to assimilate. That means that I like to hold on to my own values, morals and beliefs which feel right for me. I don't want to assimilate and become a totally different person. I would feel lost if I do that. I'm fine with my own values and if I feel a huge disconnection between my values and their then of course I would move somewhere else. However, most people end up spreading out roots, family, children ect.. and that would make it almost impossible to leave so they lead a life of just survival.

Nice summary of the main challenges. Reading some of these comments leads me to believe that if one is motivated solely by money, Canada is not a great choice for you as an immigrant. The number of commenters hoping to move to the US from Canada due to greater opportunities to make money while ignoring the real and substantial disadvantages of living south of the borders just emphasizes this. My family are immigrants from the US and we didn’t face the same challenges as immigrants from countries further afield but I do understand the differences between the two countries very well and can state unequivocally that moving to Canada was the best decision our family made. Lower crime, better health care (yes even with the wait times), a fairer system and a “boring” but sane political system more than compensate for the few extra dollars I would make south of the border. In terms of where better prospects going forward for children and grandchildren, with the looming threat of climate change, Canada wins hands down. Extra income means little if you have to spend all of it on personal security and health care deductibles. So if you are only motivated by top line items like gross annual salary, Canada might not be for you and you would be better off looking elsewhere and leaving that immigration spot open to someone who can appreciate the more balanced offering that a new life and future in Canada can offer.

Canada is a country of immigrants, which means people who are, in my humble opinion, mostly quite self-centered and expecting the world from others, which never happens! Canada demands a gigantic capacity to adapt, to adjust and, in a word, to change...completely! You must be totally willing to leave everything behind if you want to integrate into Canadian society and this is extremely hard to do! Moreover, most immigrants come to Canada because they expect that country to give them a life of luxury or at least a very easy life, which can be true, as compared to certain other countries where life can be hell because of corruption, poverty or mismanagement and dictatorship. Now, don't fool yourself, you will find all of this in Canada too, in a very different way, although not always that different, but you will find it to a certain extent, depending on what you are trying to do here! Canada pretends to be a free and democratic country, but if there is one thing, that you are not supposed to do in Canada without dire consequences and reactions from most Canadians, it is criticism and voicing dissent! You will face repression too! I am 67 and I have lived in this country for over 30 years and now have lots of health problems, which I would probably never have had in another country, all this because of the frigging climate here...I just hate it here! And yes, don't be cultured and...play stupid and ignorant, otherwise you will face automatic rejection and that same stupidity and ignorance! A country of many cultures...yes, but also of deep rooted prejudices and intolerance! And if there is something that never changes in Canada, it is change! They expect you to change, but they never change themselves! in a word...Canada is a country like all others, no better and often far worse!

Canada's economy would by far beat the USA if it had as many people, beca it has way less people but still one of the better economies

I have been living here for 28 years (that’s most of my life, I came her as a young child). My sister’s and I have experienced first hand racism due to our hijab in elementary school, high school, after 9-11 during job interviews (myself and my brothers due to their name being Muhammed). Over time things have gotten better alhumdolillah but racism exists everywhere and many have experienced it. Where there are people that use racial slurs or acts of discrimination etc, there are many more that will support you and guide you. I love Canada and wouldn’t live anywhere else but to say it’s not there and every case is dealt with the way it was dealt with our London family, is not the case. If it was, what happens with them would not have happened. May Allah help us treat one another with tolerance and love as Islam intends it to be. Watched a lot of your videos. One thing which have bothered me is that you always have some objection or problem with the Pakistani System which you experienced and yet you chose to RUN away from it, instead of fighting. Really a very needed discussion. Sir! it would be really nice if you can please let us know what if someone is coming from abroad after getting PhD? Does he still need to do odd jobs since that education is recognized and accredited by Canadian Higher Education?? Secondly, one main question is about INTEREST. Since it is prohibited in ISLAM, so what usually one do if he doesn't want to pay the interest on the debts?? Is there any way to get oneself save from this INTEREST things??

I m from Lahore. Running my own business last year i made around 6 million pkr profit. And I started my business 3 years back. With lot of hard work and consistency i am able to make it and is hoping to increase it further. But after watching your videos i discussed my intention to try for Canadian Immigration with my wife.\nIs it worth trying for it?\nThe only reason is even after making good money you are ensalved to system. We work with different gov offices like fbr, customs and PRA. There attitude is pathetic that is why we have to work middle men and pay him commission. Moreover i m not able to adjust in this environment. The school system is pathetic. I don't like private schools and how they are looting middle class parents. Same is with Doctors. One of my friend who have well established textile business got their mother admitted to one very famous hospital in DHa lahore. Doctors almost killed her mother just to make more money. For very minor issue they paid around 2 million rs to different Private Doctors. And 3 to 4 operations without even doing ct scan. I luv my kids and would never like them to grow in this environment...

One rupee is going to become 75dollars very soon \n\nThat day we will ask would u like to go back to India.

Interesting untold fact . During the entirety of the Atlantic slave trade Canada had 4700 registered slaves (Natives didn't register their slaves) Out of that 30% were black . It was abolished in many regions of Canada by 1797 and all of Canada by 1834 . But Canada still had indentured servitude until the early 20th century . They would round up kids on the streets of Europe and the ones that survived their passage here usually didn't make it to adulthood . Another problem after abolition were the natives still practicing slavery . The numbers of slaves in Canada was very small . Compare it to the Barbary slave trade . A persons personal outcomes in Canada have everything to do with what they put in . The fact is most black Canadians are not descendants from slaves in Canada .

Hey Jason, thanks so much for your videos. They've really provided me with a lot of information and put my mind at ease about a lot of the processes. I do have one query though - I have had a company of my own for the past 10 years (a film production company) in which I have been a managing director and also worked as a writer, director, producer etc. Since this isn't a traditional job with a regular salary, would it be ineligible as work experience under CRS? Would it be considered as being self-employed?

Don't want to return motherland is the most shameful answer and then comparing that area to India's Punjab only on the basis of crowd is foolishness . Our punjab is real and they left for their privilege and in future they would do again for extra privilege by moving another country . Where ever they go they will be recognized as indian . This like that, leaving own mother and loving adopted once for money and wealth . One gentlemen accepted that he is supposed to get only 10000/- for his labour . So, i can understand the class of the work he knows ( driving vehicles ) . Why should he get 1.5 lac whether he is scientist or engineer . How come when foreigners come to visit our country the Philippines, we don't treat them like that. We're very welcoming and hospitable to them. I just wish that people would show love and compassion with one another during this time of pandemic. ???

The people complaining are the very ones speading it themselves. Most Asians have been in this country for a long time and can't afford trips home. It's the folks who refuse to follow any of the guidelines who are spreading the pandemic. IF THEY HAD FOLLOWED THEM, THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN OVER A LONG TIME AGO. So easy to blame others for the results of your own behavior. When are we going to focus on the spreaders???? Don't hate people because of their government. This whole “micro aggression” nonsense is what completely makes people not take racism seriously and as a real issue. I for one am not saying I’m one of those people but I’m just making an observation. Because along with real problems of people literally hating a certain group and thinking they’re above them just because their skin is a different color than them, we lump somebody touching your hair?? I gave up on the test. It's one of the worst designed things I've ever encountered. It starts off reasonable, but then it gets entirely convoluted. I constantly forgot which buttons to push. What I did notice, however, is the choice of pictures of European Americans versus African Americans. The facial expressions are NOT neutral in my opinion. A bigger sample size would help as well.

Second, would be now lets say I have submitted my profile with less IELTS score (approx CRS >350) then later I had to re-take my IELTS (CRS score >450). Do I have an option to upgrade my profile with latest IELTS scores or does the profile gets locked in the first submission itself?

I am a white female, have been followed in stores and told once that I have come into the store too many times in one day. Every time I was in the store I bought things. They wanted to know why I was in the store soooo many times and why I did not buy anything. LOL I went to open my purse and they jumped like I was getting a gun out, pulled out all my receipts. I told them I would gladly tell the large church I was stopped because I shopped too much. LOL

Both me and my wife have Master’s degrees. Problem is I got a CLB 8 band getting us a totalk CRS score of 402 only. I wanted to write IELTS again but not able to get test dates here in the USA; earliest is May 2021. \nNow, I also know of two other ways of improving CRS; PNP from Alberta and BC Tech Program.\nHere are a few questions popping in my head:\nWould it be a good idea to create an Express Entry profile with 402 score and wait for Alberta to pick us for PNP? \nWhat happens if I submit my Express Entry profile and later I get a better IELTS score and want to submit that profile?\nI’m obviously using the Alberta PNP only for PR, so what are restrictions on us to stay/work in Alberta? Our plan is settle down in Vancouver, BC. \nI just found out about the BC Tech program from one of your videos and planning to prepare and apply for jobs there. Wiuld you have an idea, approach, suggestion for me to apply and secure an offer from Employers in BC? \n\nP.S. I have one thing to say is that if I as a Christian were in their country would they stick up for me in a muslim country .

I would ask CBC Canada to try it out with an Arabian dress code (thobe, turban and having a beard), or having a traditional Asian dress ( like the ones Indians or Bengali people wear) ?.

all I have to say is society in community should take Justice by publishing every single personal detail about this woman online...I can guarantee you Canada because your police and justice system is not there to protect you...if we do this collectively you will see these racist and other criminal elements of society will literally be boarded up in their homes and it never leave because leaving the home... dear God their fate would literally be sealed by walking down that street..because as a brown Canadian born and raised one thing people might not realize is when someone is racist to you it is one of the most heinous and vile acts that you can experience... This is the fault of the government of all these countries. From the beginning they have made law enforcement and the general population to be scared they will offend Muslims rather than being allowed to accept and treat them as they would other members of society. If one says anything that could remotely be interpreted as offensive they are labeled as being hateful and evil where as Christianity can be ridiculed without any repercussions. All peoples faiths should be respected and not one be given special consideration by law enforcement or government.

Hello Sir, I am working as software development engineer in test lead with 6+ years experience. In this covid time, is it risky to even think about PR ? I mean getting job and getting PR ... I have done only b.tech and hence my crs score will also be very less...hence no chance of Express entry. What would you suggest PNP and if then which one ? Thank you.
