I am from India and been living in Canada for 18 years. I am living here with my family and I am so grateful to this country and respect the country and the freedom I have. The thing is homelessness is a fact that is coming from the most broken families. And here cannabis legal. I could see most white peoples don’t want to go to work, even there is enough work for them. And as a country to grow, they need youngsters for the workforce, but unfortunately Canadians people don’t have enough kids to support the country. And the kids are grown from the broken families maybe ending up in the streets. Indians are most of them only marry once and keep their marriage life till the end. So many divorce can ruin the life too. So the students coming here in Canada, how they get visa, Government don’t know that. We can’t blame them, because this is the offer they get from here. \nBut even though I am from India, I have enough from Indian people here in Canada. I always questioned the people from India either you guys respect the culture here or please go back. The reason I love Canada is Canadians are so pleasant and so helpful. I don’t like not only Indians but anyone who is coming to Canada, if you love the country that the country you are not living please leave and don’t mess up this country. Leave your Culture back home. Your festival do it inside of your house don’t block the streets. Keep your Gods inside your home, everyone is not enjoying that what you doing. The worst thing I felt, no respect nowadays and nuisance, late night parties no respect for neighbours and no cleanliness. Because of some people we all are get treated same. Hindus wanted to bring their religion here, Muslims wanted to bring their religion, buddhists wanted their religion here. Can’t blame Christians because Canada is a Christian based country and I never saw them blocking the Road or streets. So anyone so obsessed please leave and enjoy your religion at home where you born.

Yes we have our own culture and own language but we also like Canadian people and their culture. Indians work hard and earn PR and citizenship here in Canada but what about refugees and asylum seekers. They fucking don’t do anything and they fucking easily get PR citizenship. Why you’re not talking about this ???? Immigrants come to Canada from all over world not just India. Lots immigrants from African countries,Bangladesh, Pakistan, Philippines and so on. So don’t talk about only Indians. In last 5 years, Canada invited so many refugees from all over world. So talk about this also.

Canada is an Immigrant country, historically White supremacists / Imperialists have basically genocided/ moved to reservations the Native Canadian Indians, like USA and Australia. I opened a business in Canada with a partner in 1974. By 1985, in spite of having a successful business, I moved to the US in 1985, and have never looked back. Canada was moving in a direction in the 80’s, that I could see was no longer a fit for me. I never believed that Canada would sink as low as it has, but I have to admit, compared to the US, it was becoming far too regulated, and far too Liberal for my liking.\nThe open immigration policy for me, was a complete deal breaker, and its current shift to being a Muslim, East Indian, Chinese, and African country, would not have worked for me, as a Canadian Protestant of English, Irish, and French descent. I know for a fact that the Chinese are extensively involved in the current synthetic drug crisis, and although there are many law abiding Chinese in Canada, they serve to camouflage the Chinese underworld that exists in Canada, as they do in Mexico, that allows them to pipeline these drugs to Canada, which is being destroyed by this crisis. All said, Canada is becoming a crime ridden, drug infested Muslim shithole, where Canadians can look forward to sharing this demise with their Chinese, and East Indian neighbours.

I have friends from india they did there best to integrate and have similar values to other canadians. Indian food is my favorite but too many people come here and dont want to adapt or adopt canadian values they stay in the community they are most fammilar with and retain values that arent in line with canadian values if you plan on living here get to know the locals and we will treat you well canadas a melting pot come chill with us we got good cocaine and shit

Indo Canadian here, there are sure a lot of Indians here. I'll be very candid with my opinion, it's not hate as much as it's fact. And this doesn't just apply to Indians but South Asians they refuse to assimilate, don't understand social cues, are very misbehaved and now it's like there is a wave of anti Indian sentiment (mostly from Anglo Canadians).

Us Indians can be successful anywhere so way not be successful in our country. The issue is not just the students I agree and seen students who came recently have made things mess but who to blame how can a country ask even 5.5 bands holders can get visa …..but major issue is the refugees who are coming they are paid for being refugee ….the taxes of Canadian are been given free to refugees …I came across a Afghan family they get almost 7000 dollars a month they don’t do anything they eat good pay for their grocers and enjoy life on the other hand Indian students pay thousands of dollars to come here giving share in the economy but guys from haryana punjab who are just 12th pass immature they are spoiling the name of the entire community as a whole it’s sad to see

As an Indian, this feels really heartbreaking. Hearing the worsening experiences of Canadians themselves, i dont Know what to say. There are a couple of things, which i have noticed so far. both the canadian government, and the Indian students shifting to Canada are at wrong. I wont take the side of the Indians. I totally believe in learning about the culture, the language of the place, u are shifting to, solely for education purposes, but most of the students, especially indians forget that. Even i would not feel fine if someone(immigrant) would come to my home country without knowing about the culture, the language, and just simply misuse our resources. \nBoth the parties have resulted in breaking the trust of the canadians. In general, the Indian diaspora people all over the world, including Brampton are industrious, hard working, law abiding and assimilated within the local population, They tend to be economically well to do, with many of them gaining high level of education and that is the reason why there are so many Indian CEO of international conglomerates, such as the World Bank, Google, Microsoft, Coca Cola et al. I was shocked when I visited Canada 30 years ago. There were a notable amount of Asian and Third World immigrants. I completely agree with you. Canadian immigration policy should carefully consider the quality of individuals entering the country. As an Indian, I’ve personally encountered several instances of rude behavior from people who don’t represent the best of our community, including one just yesterday while I was walking with my mom on the street. I fully agree with you. The International Students, most of them have no manners and are rude. I use public transport. Some don't pay fares, talk loudly in their language either on the phones or in a group. They push to get in or out of the buses. They have taken away jobs from our youth, who are citizens of Canada. They signed on the documents that they would go back to their country after studies, but NO, they want PR. That was their intention in the first place. They are inconsiderate of others. They have no respect for others. It's just them. How can we say they are the future generation of this country, who also cheat the system. There are also some Indians, Muslims who have recently, I would say 10-12 years moved to Canada, do the same as above, including loud music in their cars, noisy cars, litter and spit, also spit red liquid on the grounds, etc., it is annoying. The power of our canadian passport is regressing. During COVID I had to use my Mexican passport to enter Korea as they weren't letting Canadians in due to a small political spat, I get e-visa when entering Egypt which Canadians don't get and about 6 months ago I had to apply for an Indian visa using my Mexican passport again because India blocked Canadians from applying. This was understandable as Canada had a diplomatic spat with India but it was NOT understandable that we didn't block off Indian visa applications at the same time. We are essentially letting others walk all over us. also the embassy services for Canadians are absolutely god damn terrible and feels like I have to beg them to actually do their damn job.
