The whole population of Canada fits in 1 or 2cbig tier 1 cities in China , so their cities hv to deal with 1 million migration on a regular basis and accomodate for those changes. I have met so many people in Canada especially from Africa , Middle East and Europe who apply to come here as asylum seekers just because they know they will get govt benefits and housing.

After Covid - in Pak & Ind - Canada was the most desired destination. I made some analysis about Canada before deciding to apply for immigration and reached to the conclusion that Canada is falling soon (not as a country but for the immigrants so don't get hyper on me :)) So just be wherever you are because the world is going crazy. And no place on earth is gonna be peaceful for long!

I also get calls from agents time to time saying my alma matter is more than enough to land me a job there and they just need a certain amount of money to send me to canada with work permit without any college enrollment.

Canada has to be stringent on its immigration laws to prevent scumbags from getting rich out of people's despirate hopes and dreams.

WE also don’t t have enough usable land to produce food, And Set up infrastructure that is affordable. We already have high costs of living in very under-serviced areas. The space that is already used for the population of canada is already over populated, and overpriced housing and living costs for our citizens.

This country has plummeted drastically this past decade. The immigration is absolutely ridiculous. Doesn't matter from where. This problem won't be solved until the Baby Boomer generation has passed away, but that will also cause issues too. We need to focus on our own before accepting others in.
