If you travel as much as I do, you would come to appreciate Canada. Yes, Thailand is nice, only if you are white and blond. YouTube won’t make you sufficient income even in in a developing countries.

My Canadian immigrant application being denied years ago was a blessing in disguise. I now live in the USA, and I can't imagine my life if I was in Canada.

if you get fired in u.s you have basicly no protection in canada BY LAW you have to give severance and notice u.s has none of that severance is on employer

Interesting ranking. As a Quebecer, Quebec has the highest taxes on all of Canada. You pay a lot of taxes off your income. Prince Edward Island is ranked after Quebec for heavy taxation. Food for thought, as of August 2024.

Lived in the US for 4 years and bought 5 rental properties in my home country. Now I'm retired at the age of 34. It was the best decision I have ever made. I am now building a business and want to expand to Canada for my actual retirement. 10:08 Canadaians ?? I met max are COOL & supporting & I really enjoyed y time till I went through tough mental health challenge due to challenges wayback home. Issue is with ?? Politicians in min of education wnd support to international students ?? who need a support during unforseen circumstances. CIC even didn't helped me with legal right I had to be in Canada and change my visa. I paid taxes and was even unable to claim back.

Compared to Vietnam, the average salary in USD is 400$/month, the average house price is 200,000USD. Being able to come to Canada is already luckier than many people.

It started when Canada govt wants all cheap labor truck driver, mechanics, carpenters, ets that they call trade field and gave PR to them, govt could have called them on temporary work visa can gave PR to only with cream part of people from all over as even pakisthani , bangladeshi, other south asian and other tropical people who look like Indias are normally blamed as bad people.

Canada is still a beautiful country, whats not are those ( J Trudeau & co) politicians with hair brain policies destroying the country..if Pierre P can get elected next year end, maybe there is hope yet....in the meantime, I think Thailand would be a good place to hang about for a year or 2 as a content creator until Canada sort itself out..

We moved from Brampton 7 years ago we felt it was getting dangerous and over way over populated. We live in London now (which has its only big issues) But i feel Canada’s loosing our identity. \nI love culture but like some have said already this is just too much. \nMay your higher source bless you ?

We left sweden for canada because if all rapes,shootings and gangs. Gangs decide when you are allowed to be outside, a guy got shot outside our door, another got shot very close and he was the wrong guy who just looked like someone else. One weekend we had 2 rape attemps on our Street and there was a gang shooting one station away from us at kids playgroynd when a kid got ahot by accident too. Its sick. \n\nOne year in canada we left because the schools were brainwashing our kids with nonsens gender stuff. Even our kids though it was super strange and did not feel good when teachers said you can be anything you want when you grow up (gender, not what you work with).

I have been shocked to learn how Canadians have given up r surrended their freedoms to the politicians. Legalizing hard drugs and the permissive application of the law is disturbing. I've always had a high regard for Canada, but giving up the right to protect yourself or your family is too much, too draconian. And the Universal Health Care is great, if you are healthy, but if you are sick or hurt- not so much. Wishing you luck finding a better culture. ( I have been equally shocked at Australia. I am a small town Saskatchewan boy that married a Philippine lady and have 2 kids. In 2023 we decided to sell both are houses and moved to the Philippines with are kids still in elementary school and best decision we have ever made. Canada is not the same country i grew up in the 80s

Ive had ads to move to Canada. And im from Australia. They are solving the first word fertility decline through immigration. I wish they would support people born in the country having children. Im pregnant now and it seems like i missed the golden days when having kids cost less and ill always struggle. Hitting the milestones such as first house, education, and having children cost soooo much more now. So people aren't doing it. And immigrants are needed.

We have immigrants coming to Canada from all over the world and there are a lot of students too, but there is something terribly wrong with people from India. When coming to a new country, you have to come to a point where you respect that country's law and your values too. You cannot impose your laws and values on them. Freedom is given here but don't abuse it. Lastly, live for a little bit under the sun and stop this race mentality.

I'm Canadian born and raised. My grandparents came from England after WW2 for a better life and sadly the Canada that they immigrated to is long dead. \n\nThe lack of opportunity and the insane policies of the federal government has severely decimated the quality of life in Canada. I wanted to start a family and own a home, nothing huge or extravagant, just something to call my own and all of that seemed impossibly out of reach to me. I had a somewhat well-paying job and lived within my means and I could not seem to get ahead. I didn't own a large or new vehicle, rarely ate out and would always try to buy used. Still, I could barely save or invest anything. \n\nNot wanting to live in a place that just wants me to be poor, lonely and unhealthy I pulled the trigger and left for Eastern Europe. I have no regrets and while it has been a difficult and stressful process, it has been well worth it.

To stop the inflow of immigrants to canada the canada govt should adopt the policy of skilled workers contractual only in which a skilled worker is hired for 1yr or 2yrs contract with free airfare n paid one month vacation free lodging and their families are not allowed to be with them that is what middle east countries are doing that is they are allowed to be recontracted same as in saudi arabia they have developed without the problem of immigration

Daniel Bernhard from the Institute for Canadian Citizenship totally blew off the infrastructure problem and therefore is a contributor to the hardship all Canadians including newcomers will be facing for many years. Saying we need immigration and ignoring the needs of all in Canada to have a job and a place to live is a big problem. HUGE.

The official business in canada and police station are a joke i just last week went to get a criminal check to do uber and i oaid 250$ just to get a criminal check background but thats not all the way i was treated from the workers was dissturbing been living in this countru for over 14 years and never i have felt that type of discrimination as i did at york region police checks . Just disgusting and planing to move to the usa asap
