Punjabi has become the fourth most spoken language in Canada and the third most spoken language of the Canadian Parliament. Just look how many Canadian politicians are of Hindu/Punjabi origin. Many of them weren't even born in Canada. So, whose interest will they represent, and who votes them in? Just a question.

I was born and raised in Canada and in my 60’s now. I can’t afford to live here anymore, healthcare has declined, personal safety, fuel costs, insurance etc. most of all our politics are a mess on all three major parties. The Liberals are a royal mess and inflation went through the roof. They’re just running around like the 3 blind mice making fools of themselves. The Conservatives are involving themselves in a right wing romance with fascist trumpianism and think poutine is an ok guy. The hate speech is unreal. We used to be a real chill country. I have young 20 somethings telling me they think Communism is a great idea and they would rather fight for poutine if a war breaks out. Well it’s their future not mine. The AI, bots and trolls on the internet are telling them what they want to hear in order to stir up hate and entitlement. The NDP (New Democratic Party) is neither here nor there, they’re kind of always the minority and swing both the other two parties to divide the vote and gain some form of temporary power. \nI’d like to see a politician that has the balls to stand up to the dictators of this world that shit disturb in every continent because they are such little insecure bastards that they think they can conquer it. I’ve got news for them. Every single dictator in history has failed… miserably and often brutally. We need the kind of leadership in our Country that can produce good governance. Our GDP is just under $60K. The dictators out there are rubbing their greedy little hands, for if there is ever a 3rd world war, Canada will be the prize. We are loaded with resources. Land mass, water, minerals, oil and gas, technology, geographic strategic stronghold etc. Don’t let it slip into the hands of fascists, communists, dictators or totalitarians they always make it worse so that it takes a lifetime to recover. I’ve spent 40 yrs in the workforce, and listened to countless people from every continent who told me the truth about why they left their homeland. People who survived WW2, the Korean War, Vietnam War, communist China, expansionism of the USSR, the caste system and political persecution in India and Bangladesh. Political unrest in Argentina and Chile. I have personally witnessed systemic racism in the USA and Canada. \nI don’t have anything tying me down to stay here so I will be moving on. I think I’ll just become a nomad tourist for a while.

I love Canada and the Canadian my parents and grandparents lived and worked in. 2 Words HOUSING BUBBLE. Remember that for the last 5 years we have been warned that the housing bubble will burst. Well these governments knew this and came up with a plan.\nIf Canada, Australia, UK and USA had not taken almost 10 million migrants the Housing bubble would have burst and property prices would have plunged at least 50% worse than in 2008, banks and major property developers would have collapsed and the building industry would have collapsed. and there could have been an economic collapse. \nSo they flooded our countries with every kind of Migrant, it did not matter, refugees, students, skilled etc. These millions of immigrants have rented rooms, flats, investors rushed in to invest thereby, leading to huge shortage and massive demand, which inflated house prices. Who is to blame? Politicians created the demand, Bankers were ready to lend increasing their assets and bonuses, Investors exploited the situation.

Immigration should never be encouraged at the cost of the existing residents and that is what has happened to this country. Growth should never be at the cost of destruction ofo somethign else. Politicians do everything for the the votes to stay in power and the greed for money and power has what ahs caused the collapse in the qualifty of life and everything else in Canada. This country is utterly ludicrous. Bureaucrats and politicians exhibit sheer madness and political opportunism. I believe both Liberals and Conservatives are responsible for this situation. As a skilled migrant myself, my family and I migrated here 25 years ago. Let me illustrate with an example I'm aware of: A young woman obtained her student visa from Seneca College and arrived here with her husband and two children. Her husband secured an entry-level job (I believe that entry-level job should go to a Canadian youth), and subsequently, she brought her mother to look after their children. These children are enrolled in the local school board, and Canadians are footing the bill for their education. I don't know what economical benefit Canada is going to get out of this kind of situation. This is just one of many cases I've personally witnessed. I fail to comprehend why Canadians tolerate such foolishness.

This is the result of a brutal market economy, coupled with corrupt, dishonest, and incompetent politicians, as well as greedy lobbyists, bankers, and nonsensical immigration policies. It is the perfect recipe for heading towards massive poverty, which is cruelly unfair for a country that is supposed to be rich in resources and abundant in space.

What a joke. Politicians listen more to corporate lobbyists than they do polls.\nNobody wants more Immigration, except for large companies that want lower wages, increased property values, and foreign money.

Most Western economies have bad demographics, so politicians want immigrants by their thousands. What they never consider is the social effects, and the fact many will not integrate religiously or culturally, which is creating ticking timebombs in many places.

Politicians did not think about the support system for newcomers: housing, healthcare, education, and transportation. Also after COVID-19, there was a surge in temporary residents ( international students and temporary workers) The other mistake is that Canada is bringing foreign workers and international students but not international investments for innovation, entrepreneurs, and financial capital.

why do people think that Canada spending more than European countries on healthcare is inherently good?? we are at least 5 times the average Europe countries population. the amount of money getting spread out to each person is DRASTICALLY lower! this country is in shambles cause selfish politicians want to be re elected.
