Some parents feel that correcting their kids and teaching them some manners will make them submissive, docile and under confident. They fail to understand that it's a flawed logic. Not teaching kids good manners and empathy will only make them 3rd class, entitled brats who are no good for the society and then they will learn theri lesson the hard way but during all this while they would have created 100 such nuisances. While I do agree too much correction on every small little thing may not be a good idea but some basic manners must be taught to all the kids on how to conduct themselves and behave.

It's a double edged sword. The industry (fast food, food retailing, services) WANT those people, be it international students, refugees or other to work because there is insufficient response from the local population of young people. Even certain restaurants and hotels had to remain CLOSED after the pandemic, because they could not find enough people to work. The government covid money dissuaded the local population from working. It is a huge mistake to admit so many Indian students attending low-credentialed private colleges and then allow them to work 20-30 hours a week. Trudeau and Miller are to blame for this. But at the same time, there was a labour shortage due to the ageging population and the fact that people have fewer kids today. Canada should give greater priority to trained professionals in areas where there is a need, such as construction, education and nursing. People in India, China, eastern Europe and other countries can get very good training in technical colleges, but it is the wealthy families in these countries that don't want their kids working these jobs.

There are no Young Canadians... Our feminists aren't having any kids. Canada's fertility rate was 1.5 kids per woman last I checked. Up until the 1990s, a ditch digger could afford a 'stay at home' wife, children, and a house for them all to live in. Today, a married couple with 2 average income jobs can't afford the kids or the house. The gradually increasing level of taxation has made it too expensive for Canadians to replenish the workforce, in other words, having children and raising the next generation of taxpayers. So brutal. I have a 15 year old looking for her first job and all her friends ate too. Guess what.....all those jobs we used to get as we entered the workforce are gone. Every single DQ A&W grocery store McDs etc jobs go to foreigners. So where will all the high school kids work? They are becoming despondent and depressed. It's really sad. For the kids born here and the kids that got told bs there would be plenty of jobs. It's just wrong!!!? I'm highly concerned for the kids. Canada is sliding into a toilet. The main reason why we Indians are leaving Canada is because its full of Indians & Chinese. There is no European/Western World's feeling. Not too many speak proper English, either the compatriates are Chinese or Punjabies and none of them can speak proper English. But just for name sake, the families of the Indians can be proud that their kids are studying in Canada, its a status symbol.

The middle income high school kids use to enjoy part time jobs saving for school and then sustain themselves part time during their higher education. Now with the flood of international students, refugees and illegal immigrants they have decimated the part time employment opportunities. The other spin off consequence is the competition for limited housing have allowed the mercenary landlords to jack up the rent beyond the ability for the average person to afford. Here is statistic for you on one of them.....more than 75% of the people who live in Toronto, are from another country!! 75%, and Vancouver, Calgary, Montreal, and every other big city we have are catching up to that percentage as we speak. If Canada had a real labour shortage the wages would be very high to attract people yet there are few if any jobs and they pay minimum wage or slightly more.Another byproduct of a woke system is the incentive to work has been taken away.In the past men strived to make top dollar but since western women are undesirable there's no marriage or kids and no one can afford a house so men do the bare minimum or don't work at all.A man doesn't need to work 60 hours a week making 200k a year if he's alone so no need for that high stress job which means no need to go to college or university to get that job.Society puts down men and women claim they don't need men then everybody wonders why men don't join the military anymore this all starting to make sense now?

Well now foreign students can work as many hours as they want now. So they used to be capped at 20 hours a week to Joe unlimited hours, thus making it even harder for a Canadian kid or student trying to find a job.

I am Canadian and I was offered a live changing job opportunity and with the equity in my home at the moment my wife and I would of been able to by a 5000sq home with a swimming pool and palm trees but the thought of of my children going to school in the United States was a flare out no !!
