Is it racist if I move from China to Canada, and want to live in predominantly white neighborhood? Because I admire European culture.

If you live in the Western Culture, you need to follow and live with our society. If you want to live in sharia law or an Islam place, then you really should move back to the Middle East.

Why not move to Saudi Arabia if you want sharia law? I mean... they're everything y'all want, aren't they?

Where do you go or where do you start if you want to move to the States? My bf and I have been talking about it for a while now where we want to live and we have decided to go see about and save up for a green card. What would you suggest if we are both from Canada and we have no relatives close to us that are US citizens?

If you dont feel comfortable here move away from Canada. We dont want to be a muslim country. Why dont you as muslims accept our country values and customs.

Canada's cold, expensive & boring. The people here spend 1/3 of their time talking about America and the other 2/3 about hockey and how accepting and 'nice' they are. Our country hates Americans yet they rely on American brands, tv etc. For their livelihood and know more about their political situation than their own. I want to move sooo badly

this is pure horse shit, while there is people afraid of muslims the west has created a society that prides itself on tolerance and inclusion. The full niqab is basically a wall to society saying I don't want to communicate or participate as eye contact and facial expressions determine how we interact with each other. If you feel the need to dress in a full veil I would suggest moving to a islamic society that would make you feel included.

I was wondering Derek if you had to get someone to sponsor you or did you just move there? Have you since gotten health care, I was wondering how much you are paying. I read somewhere also that you have to take your drivers test, written and driving test since most states do not acknowledge Canadian license. Any other suggestions would be much appreciated. I live in Northern Ontario, and I have never actually been to thr USA, but I know someone who moved to Milwaukee and moved back to Canada because he couldn't handle certain mentalities people had. He said it definitely wasn't everyone, but the whole gun thing freaked him out. He knew a lot of people who carried guns around regularily, and so he always felt he needed to censor himself so he didn't want to offend or make anyone angry, because of thr guns. His brother lives in California and he loves it there, but Milwaukee wasn't for him. It was an interesting conversation

I am from Bangladesh. I look at all of our countries. Our people made those into living hell. We then move to the West and try and turn those countries into the hell that we fled from!! Such Hypocrites. If you want to wear a Hijab, Burqa, Topi please live in your hell. Don't impose it in Canada or in the West.

I'm tolerant, liberal individual, I'm qualified and speak English fluently, always wanted to move to Canada but they make it really difficult for me, oh boy if only I was an Islamic fanatic who believes those who question my religion should be beheaded, then they would open the doors wide for me as it seems.\n\nSame goes to the UK, they let everybody that they shouldn't let, in, those who would try to absorb the culture and make it better, they don't let them in, great policy.

What about the terrorism that Christians are involved in?  The sexual abuse of children that still goes on today.  People have to remember not only were Pope John Paul and Pope Benedict were aware of the sexual abuse the perverted priests and bishops engage in,  but Pope Benedict went out of his way to move and protect the pedophile priests.  The Catholic church has spent millions on lawyers to prevent having to pay out the victims of sexual abuse.  The catholic church also has in its possessions stolen art works and valuables stolen by the Nazis during the war.  They have not handed them back to their rightful owners.  And to add insult to injury the Catholic church enjoys tax exemption status and protection in Canada while the victims of the church do not have access to services to help them rebuild their lives due to the effects they still suffer as a result of this abuse.  \n\nAn example of the further victimization sexual abuse victims of the Catholic cult have been exposed to is the practice of Crimen sollicitationis  Crimen sollicitationis states that if a person speaks out about their sexual abuse experiences within this cult they can be ex-communicated from the church.  \n\nAs a white man who is an ex catholic and who also had sexual abuse from this church it is my belief that many young children who were sexually and spiritually abused by the Catholic cult did not come forward because of shame and did not want to have to be exposed to this kind of re victimization by the Catholic cult again. \n\nI believe it is because a lot of Muslim people are people of colour that they are persecuted in Canada.  The real terrorist in Canada is not only the Catholic church but a spokesman for them the Crime Minister of Canada Stephen Harper and the Conservative Party of Canada.  The are terrorists who rig elections, and their party is rife with criminal and illegal activity and are a threat to democracy.  That is why everyone should be protesting their anti terrorist bill they are ramming down the throats of Canadians Bill C-51  \n\nIf you have nothing intelligent to say and believe being a conservative makes you exempt from the laws of Canada, and you are set in dismantling democracy, the Conservative Party of Canada wants you.

If they want sharia law, why not move back to their own countries where it's already imposed? This is disgusting, they want to change every place they go to and adapt it by their own beliefs, but if you go to a muslim country you have to cover up and live by their own rules of course. I have to say, i was in East Ham the other day with my bf, kissing on the street and this muslim guy giving us ugly stares. I just looked straight in his face and smiled. -----
