If you compare job growth to immigration it's obvious that Canada's immigration is ideologically driven. There aren't anywhere near enough jobs, let alone housing, health care, etc. Canada's ruling class is deliberately engineering a future descent of Canada into overt feudalism and lawlessness.

The promise of Canada is the biggest scam ever. Government lies, all kinds of agents lie. Immigrants believe this BS , sell everything in home country just to be met by absolute misery. Situation is tragic.. People are starving. I can't believe this woman is talking about it so calmly. I'm not against immigration, but prepare for it. In Canada government can't provide basic services for Canadians let alone immigrants. Please do your research before you come.

The majority of foreign students are not here for education. Lets face it, canada is not exactly a hub for exemplary education. They come because their family makes them. Its a fast route to residency and therefore an easy and fast in for the rest of the family to come. Many quit school after a few months and then start working.

This country is utterly ludicrous. Bureaucrats and politicians exhibit sheer madness and political opportunism. I believe both Liberals and Conservatives are responsible for this situation. As a skilled migrant myself, my family and I migrated here 25 years ago. Let me illustrate with an example I'm aware of: A young woman obtained her student visa from Seneca College and arrived here with her husband and two children. Her husband secured an entry-level job (I believe that entry-level job should go to a Canadian youth), and subsequently, she brought her mother to look after their children. These children are enrolled in the local school board, and Canadians are footing the bill for their education. I don't know what economical benefit Canada is going to get out of this kind of situation. This is just one of many cases I've personally witnessed. I fail to comprehend why Canadians tolerate such foolishness.

Canada has sadly taken a hit. I say with no hate..... but we let too many people into our nation. The housing issue is one thing, but housing can be built. My sadness comes from the change in our Canadian culture. Canadians were always known to be nice people, polite and generous people but the more foreigners we let in, I see less friendly Canadians, less polite Canadians.... our culture is changing for the worse because of letting other cultures blend in.

The main problem was Trudeau appointed these inexperienced ministers to run the country and let in many Southern American MS13 gangs to control all the cities a few years ago, now Canada has a major crime wave

I used to study in one of Canadian colleges back in 2018 and lately graduated in 2021s. My parents paid the college instead of me , fortunately around 300K CAD for a college tuition fee to grocery fees to monthly room rentals in Toronto. \n\n I am a Korean national and i see there is no benefit for me to move in to Canada as Canadian cities have extremely high housing rentals compared to major cities in the US. I do hope US govt bridges and gets the internatinoal student in Canada approval for a work visa and possibly let them move in to small cities in the US.

I’m starting to understand Quebec separatism as your identity is your family and family is everything. You can’t even walk into the local armoury and choose a life of valour because you could be working at Tim Hortons instead or a gas station instead, that’s how quelled of ambition or morality this shithole has become. All the collective social institutions that gave Canada an “edge” in quality of life index have been picked bone dry and no longer serve the people anymore but still Canada managed to maintain the most watered down $ currency known to humanity 50$ gets you a single bag of groceries ffs.

Our government lets everybody into Canada it should be if you were born in Canada you live in Canada if you're weren't born in Canada you're not living in Canada

A lot of skilled immigrants are forced to do minimum wage jobs because because Canadian employers have a weird thing about “Canadian experience”. I personally know lot of qualified doctors who left because Canada doesn’t want to let them work.

So many high rises being built for the main immigrants entering Canada in the hundreds of thousands--with drug money, many without any education and the English language...bring their elderly family members who have never worked a day in Canada to pick up old age pension. Lets not forget the burden in the school system and healthcare...but of course no one points the finger at gem rather temporary workers from Mexico and International students get scapegoated.

I feel like moving as a lifelong Canadian. I love people and love culture. I don't like extremists. \n\nMy problem is simply I don't our government is ethical nor caring to it's citizens, and as far as immigrants go, I am absolutely all for it with a reasonable rate without displacement or a negative sum on people that have built families here already. You can't just say we want to help and not give one thought about implications whatsoever. \n\nWhere I live you can't add thousands of people without thinking about making roards wider or more busses.\n\nWe don't look like idiots, we are. Let's welcome a host of new beautiful people into out country and not have a single plan in place besides pay for their housing (not necessarily bad), pay for their transportation (not necessarily bad), and allow a rent bubble to put our welcoming citizens with Trades to live in tents.\n\nHow about this as a sane alternative, the billions of dollars in road tax from gas prices which hasn't improved the roads, and the billions from legalized gambling...how about we audit our government and take a hard and difficult look as to where all this tax money goes, and more importantly the detailed justification? \n\nSame thing, same day. Canada has to be corrupt as the day is long OR our greatness was built on an history of lies. Take your pick.\n\nLet's hire as a people a 3rd party professional firm with oversight and give them 5 billion dollars, the amount we paid for helicopters and opted out for and still paid by backing out.\n\nThat thought alone should be brilliant enough to enlighten us all.

The reason there are shortages in the health care system is because too many of the immigrants Canada keeps importing are overdue for medical attention. Too many of the people Canada is letting into their country are hard-core enemies of the West. They really DO NOT belong here!

When I migrated to Canada 30 years ago, this was a different country. This country could integrate foreigners without causing problems for the native people here. It was a moderate number of between 200 to 300 thousand for a population of 30 million The problem is that Canada has more people over 65 years old than young people, subtracting the number of born about 320 vs 220 who die every year, there would be no population growth that could pay for the retirements of the retired people and immigration in the correct numbers was something positive for the economy the problem is a broken immigration system too many without infrastructure and let me tell you a lot of them arrive and in less than a year they leave I think that Canada should not receive anyone anymore for the next 20 years until it fixes houses crisis

Funny how they want to blame immigration. Jobs are everywhere but employers know that immigrants are more disciplined, hard working and appreciative of the opportunities provided, when compared to the average Canadian-born citizen. I've seen it first hand. \n \nOh and, the influx of Indian immigration boosted Canada's GBP by $20 Billion, last I checked. America is a good example, Indians and Pakistanis are the most successful ethnic group, everyone else is behind. Not only that, but they have to work TWICE as hard to get HALF of what their white counterparts do. \n\nAlso, lets not forgot how unsympathetic white America was when black Americans were going through the crack epidemic. Im seriously considering leaving Canada. I was born here, but its the not the same as it used to be. Rent and food prices have skyrocketed, theres massive drug abuse and homelessness issues, and the culture has changed completely. I just want to let my children study in Canada.

Canada cannot make its own money. So what does it do? It has to figure out unethical ways to bring in money. This is done by bringing in immigrants. There is multiple birds with one Stone hit here. Meaning gives immigrants the lie of a better life. So they take all their money that they have in their nation. And they bring it here. That's free money that Canada did not have to work for and now other nations have lost. then they lied to them and tell them that they can get anything they want. For me to get a franchise here while owning other businesses was IMPOSSIBLE 5 yrs ago. But these guys with no credentials are getting it right away. I wasn't allowed to modify my house or rent by law. And they are now allowing all of that. My mother had an international driver's license from France and she had to go through hoops to get her licence here. They are handing things over with no screening to these people which is cause instability and chaos. No structure. They let them bring their huge money here and put into franchises with no credentials. Bank loans free approval no questions asked. Meanwhile, most of those franchises will never make any money. Then they will take that money also, and put it into homes. Rent etc, and this is the part where they basically drain the immigrant money in an instant and put it into Canada economy. Now that you have all these immigrants buying all these businesses. Now you need slave work, so you start Bringing it more immigrants to work those slave jobs. Because in the 1990s, all the way up to 2010. You were encouraging Education. During that time Education was the money Maker. So you kept pushing that. Billions went to universities. Telling people that they'll have a better future. That was the lie of that time. Now you want the same people to work min wage jobs. Now immigration is a bigger Money maker. They say they're bringing in these guys Because they want to work these jobs that a canadians don't want to work. That's because you just made those fake jobs by creating more immigrants to come here have franchises that need minimum wage jobs. But you also promised the rest of us that if we worked hard enough, we will get better jobs. So why would we want to resort to minimum wage jobs on top of you ruining the market for housing inflation taxes etc? How could we even afford while working Minimum wage jobs. And that's why they're bringing people in here. This goes deeper than it seems. socialism. then they get mad At us and demand more taxes and more money. But Canada is a closed system. So how can we afford giving you more than we're making? This insanity has to stop. This chaos needs to stop.

Also for all those that feel a certain patriotism towards Canada, let's not forget that Canada is a very young country with not very much heritage and built on the genocide of indigenous people. Canada doesn't have a core identity... it is being made up as we go and as more people move here the more diverse this country will be, and being Canadian won't have any specific meaning

Not gonna lie. But Canadian teenagers feel entitled . They don’t want to work which is a shame. That might be a problem with the parents. But a good portion of 20-35 year old living with there parents are white Canadians. Let me be clear before you all slam me. But it is fucking true. Look at the line ups and tell me how many Canadians do you see. None. The problem is they want a job to pay them big money right off the start. We all started somewhere. I worked for 5.35 an hour that was only 20 years ago. That was minimum wage. Ridiculous right!!! But it actually hasn’t moved up much sense then. The people on the West Coast - British Columbia are culturally very similar to those living in Washington State and Oregon - total left wing granola - flakes and nuts. The Canadians on the East Coast are culturally similar to the US East Coasters- Joe Biden's people . \nThe people on Canada's Prairies - Alberta, Saskatchewan and the west side of Manitoba are similar to the US Midwest all the way down to Texas. 12 year wait for a doctor, three months for a blood test cannot walk into a clinic since covid, have to book online, but can't book online without a doctor, check every day for an appt space- none avail. Literally NO access to medical care and in the ER after seven hours wait they misdiagnose you and fail. Surgery wait is years, and they wont give you a day or time for an appointment, they say they will call you months later to book a time and then never do. There is no longer health care in Canada. Then there is the cost of housing. Then there is Trudeau making news reporting and websites he doesnt like illegal and pushing through laws to let the govt jail you for speech they dont like using anonymous accusers.

Solution=close borders for atleast 5 years. Maybe let in Doctors only who will become doctors in Canada too not security guards or Uber drivers.
