I have Question, For EU and especially Germany.\nWhy Immigrants living last decades in the country trying to leave and travel USA or Canada to get another immigrant opportunities?

What is so crazy if you have VPN and a couple of minor technologies you can watch social media from around the world, using easy technology you can hear and see what people are saying, thinking and doing all over the world. Pick a country and people want to leave.. to get to the greener grass on the other side.. that other place, other country or culture where things are better, more like they used to be, the entire planet is in a state of flux!! Are you considering moving to Russia. Or China? That would be great for you. I think a major problem for Canada is that it allows dual citizenship. Many countries do not allow this and we have many who hold Canadian citizenship but don't pay their fair share of income taxes (because they work in another country) and only show up once every six months to acess health care services.

And yet it is so much better than the USA. I visit Canada often from the US and was able to transfer my teaching credential to British Columbia. I can see from many Canadian's perspective why they want to leave. Perspective is everything and I feel connected and at home in Canada. I do know about the issues there as I keep up with all the news in most of the provinces but I still love it there. The fact that 45% of Americans were ok with an election being overturned has made me sick. In addition, our social fabric sucks. I started planning my move to Canada about 3 years ago and I should be there soon.

I moved to Saskatchewan in 2009 and called it home since then. I was born and raised in the Philippines, the cost of living doesn't help I have friends who moved back already. It was a different Canada back in 2009 there are more homeless people now unfortunately thanks for sharing your story.

Canada isn’t a free country compared to the United States where we still have freedom of all speech and the right to bear arms. If the United States goes any further left I will leave. Might be by the end of the year.

I can recommend you to reside in one of EU countries. It is far more convenient and proper to maintain the living circumstances and standards. Im a surgeon. I came to canada as a refugee child I wouldnt be a surgeon today had it not been for welfare, social supports, affordable apartments for our family, free and excellent public schools, loans/scholarship/ bursaries and access to the best universities for education, and then loans again for medical school/residency. I pay about between 300-500K in taxes a year. I am paying back a lot more than my family received in direct social services, but its worth it for the life that this beautiful country provided my family and I. I hope the taxes I pay will benefit current and future Canadians. Our system is not perfect. if it was good enough to help raise my ESL refugee rear up to where I am today, the social support blanket is better than most places. GL on your move. I wont be moving anywhere any time soon.

I am asian guy. It's been 32 years in Canada and I never had a girlfriend in Canada ?. Now I gave up meeting someone in Canada. Feeling lonely though at times, but I think Canada is still a good country to live. Definitely more opportunities here than places like Argentina, South Korea, etc. I go to Walmart to save money on groceries. Problem is I do feel lonely here, so in the future maybe I will try South East Asia to meet a girlfriend when I am older ?

I've lived in Canada for 52 years now and I can say that Canada is one of the greatest countries in the world despite our current incompetent federal government and not because of it. We shouldn't settle for what Canada has become but strive to restore the previous status of our great nation.

Hi Alina, I'm a student who moved here for higher education in Canada from Srilanka.I'm a fan who watch your videos intrestly.I agree, what you are saying. So far as an international student i have observed many things in Canada. There are pros and cons in my experience. However, Canada is a great place to live and I hope all the negativity happens in Canada right now will solve very soon and hope most of these problems will solve very soon.
