But thinking with the same logic, all the other war and/or dictatorship refugees (from Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan,...) would probably also prefer living in their own countries without the fear of terror, torture and death. Does that give us European & Westerners the mandate to get rid of those evil regimes? This is not a rhetorical questions - I am afraid, there is no answer without blood on our all hands. Last but not least - isn't Israel fighting for a better life of Palestinians/Arabs in this region, when they want to destroy Hamas & Hezbollah, which have clearly the most responsibility for the current situation? If I would be an Arab living in the Middle East hoping for human rights and some prosperity, I would certainly choose to be an Israeli citizen!

The Saudi Minister's response was a wise one indirectly asserting that those countries that strategically plotted this illegal move should do what is right. Gaza belongs to its citizens and they have every right to live there.

No it’s actually a disappointing answer. Surely it is the responsibility of a neighbouring country to take refugees when they are in crisis but then again what would you expect from a Stone age kingdom. If not for oil the Saudis would still be in the ages of the camel.

This is actually a cop out for an answer. it is the responsibility of neighbouring states to take in refugees during times of crisis. Even far poorer nations such as Kenya have hosted refugees from neighbouring countries such as Somalia. If anything this answer just highlights both Saudi and wider Arab hypocrisy when dealing with refugee crises in their backyards. Also yes I totally understand why this question was asked as often a lot of European states have taken in refugees from middle eastern countries whilst the neighbouring gulf states have taken none.

Because your want (or need) to be surrounded by a certain religion, is your want. See the Arabs won’t even accept responsibility over their own people…yet in their rich countries they take in thousands of Indians, Pakistanis and others to build their projects. Only if they did that with their own people then Israel can exist and the Palestinians can have a home to live in aswell.

It is a fair question: during the war in Ukraine, Europe provided a safe heaven for refugees. When are the Arab countries taking up responsibility when there is a humanitarian crisis? Why were Syrian refugees welcomed in Germany but not in Iran or Saudi Arabia?

Idk how everyone seems to be confused why we have so much homelessness. Israels national investment firm called black rock has been buying up American housing for years. They were very outspoken about their plans to buy everything, and hold onto it indefinitely while renting it out for very high rates. Every politician has bought 50 or more homes to do this with as well. Tucker carlson has a load of them, as well as every other tv personality. People from other countries stay 10 people per home, and collectively can afford much higher rates than americans living 1 family to a home, again driving rates ever higher. Government is soley responsible for the dollar becoming worthless so quickly. Wages will never keep up. The government makes more money by cramming as many people as possible into the country, directly at the expense of quality of life for the citizens. Nobody is protecting the interests of American citizens. We are all getting robbed blind by predators while we all appear to be blind deaf and dumb. Nothing happening is an accident. Every loser creates a winner somewhere.

Moved from Hungary to Jordan becouse we want to know our 4 children in islamic environment. We have everyday our own challenges becouse my husband parents were refugees from Gaza. So we don't have jordanian citizenship, we don't have many basic rights(for exaple me as a nurse and physiotherapist can get a job here becouse in the healthcare only jordanian citizens can work). BUT facing with all these difficulties we still thanks to Allah that were able to took this step to move here to make our kids belief stronger and practice their religion much more easier. Alhamdulillah for everything.

Not sure why I got this in my recommendations but I gave it a watch. I would agree with most reasons for your wanting to leave, even as a non-muslim. But what bothers me is how many Muslims are discontented with the social values and economics this federal government has been promoting and implementing - but they helped elect that govt. They threw their support behind the current federal govt because they seemed Muslim-friendly, while at the same time that same government promoted things that contradicted Islamic social values. Also , its my opinion, that govt is responsible for the runaway cost-of-living via inflation because of their horrible fiscal policies.

What is occurring in gaza was a highly predictable response to being attacked, yet the palestinians CHOSE to do it anyway knowing the consequences. Rather disingenuous to start a war, then demand its conclusion after your attack, wouldn't you agree? No, 'The Palestinians' were promised land along with the rest of the Arabs of the area and that is what the Saud family and other Arab cartels have stolen. Faisal was promised Transjordan and that is the home of these people. Faisal agreed that Jews could live in Palestine and it wasn't until they were attacked by Islamic militants that there was any problem. Now the other Arab nations have a responsibility to give a home to those Arabs who are in trouble in Palestine. Also, most Palestinians are descended from Arab colonists who arrived after the fall of the Ottoman Empire so they are doubly entitled to reside in those other Arab nations.
