To me, it looks like Vice is really trying to pull the emotional card to get people to sympathize with this man because he really is in a rough situation. But, he is in a situation of his own making. It sounds like he had not done any prior research about Canada before deciding to claim refugess status. Yes, Trudeau was not giving the full truth when he made those public announcements to the media. Yes, people (educated or not) can be swayed by words of leaders they respect. But, to think you can just enter another country and claim refugee status without understanding what that actually entails is very naive. Canada has very transparent laws that are easily accessable in a multitude of different languages. The provinces also have legal assistance for those who can not afford lawyers. So, the fact that this man was able to spent $15,000 when he is being portrayed as a low income earner makes me question his income, or if he was even aware that he could apply for legal assistance. And since he has a lawyer who has been working his case, I would like to assume that the lawyer would have said something about assistance.\n\nI really want to be sympathetic for this man and his family, because security uncertainty makes life extra hard. But, as I have had to live in more than one country due to the Canadian immigration system refusing my husband due to a very old DUI (which has set our life on a completely different plan than anticipated), I have a very hard time being sympathetic when I feel as though they did not reach out to educated themselves on the laws of another country. I am a Canadian who currently can't live in Canada with my husband of 3 years and I still don't hate my country. I respect the hell out of it (this is not to get into our historic treatment of BIPOC, which deserves it's own seperate time and is a bloody stain on our land's history.)

Trudeau going to have to establish a DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) program in Canada now - people don't realize there is probably thousands like her scattered across the country mostly in the major cities. They all want similar relief from potentially being deported if they are caught. I have no problem giving it to them since most of them are young but I would enforce the condition that they have to resettle in Manitoba, Northern Ontario and the Atlantic Provinces - areas in Canada experiencing population decline, aging demographics and high job vacancy numbers. We don't need people who didn't follow the rules further overcrowding cities like Toronto and Vancouver where the cost of living is rising every year.

Yes I ran into racial profiling when I wanted to ask why CBC is biased and won't report fairly. Being white and male, I was told that my opinion is invalid, and in spite of the taxes I pay for their wages, I don't have any say. Moreover, because I am male, CBC's supreme leader Trudeau has dictated I am not allowed any sort of platform. This is an important issue! Why do you think these sterotypes are so prevalent CBC? Crime statistics? Day to day crime by certain groups? CBC hates the question why because it conflicts with their bias as mandated by identity politics. To be honest, we have WAY too many immigrants coming in especially under Trudeau's pandering. Harper was right. Muslims that cover their faces, are obviously leaning to the radical right. Muslims previously came here to get away from the conservative, fundamental, radical doctrine of their Islamic countries they came from. They wanted to return to the western lifestyle they had in the 60s, 70, educated and enjoying freedom. Now since Trudeau, more and more coming in, don't want to become a Canadian and live as a Westerner. This separates people from other faiths, in engaging in conversation with someone, that clearly wants nothing to do with her Western neighbor, bus driver, teacher, etc. These people that wear this attire are radicals, or just one of the sheep of the radicals.

What I would like to know is why in the case of roxum road crossing we never saw any US officials there stopping people from illegally leaving the US hmmm! What killed me is she was eligible for the Working Poor Tax Credit. It goes to show how easy these rules are to exploit. Someone could sit down and calculate exactly what they need to make, how many children they need to have, what activities to pursue etc so they can gain access to all these tax benefits. Make the most money while paying the least tax. There was an article in the nation post about this which discussed Trudeau's statement that the poor do not pay tax. It is crazy the tax credits people get and it makes it so something like close to 40% of people do not actually pay tax. Its one thing when working canadian's benefit, but not Chinese business people who come here, buy a house, maintain their status under false pretenses, then get credits for being poor.

Fraud is prevalent in Canada because their judicial system is too soft! They need harsher penalties to deter criminals. In fact the Crime Minister of Canada Trudeau should be imprisoned for life for his treacherous acts against his country and to his people!

Some people say come in legally, but he can't seek asylum just because he wanted to protect his family or want a better life for his children. It doesn't work that way. He has to have documentations or proof that his life or family's life is in DANGER. That is why he can't come in legally because he will not be approve on just those conditions, surprisingly even in Canada. When Trump was tough on the illegals on our southern borders, I remembered seeing Canada PM said they are welcomed in Canada. I guess many people heard it too and took him up on his offer.
