Actually Canada has never had an over population problem until now. The real question is why is Canada encouraging over population. A million immigrants a year is unsustainable. Everyone knows it.

It's genuinely exhausting to watch even so-called progressive outlets like the guardian foment fear and anger against migrants and refugees rather than someone, anyone, possibly questioning whether the incentives for property developers and landlords might, in-fact, be a potential factor in the ongoing housing crisis. It is clearly so clever, that the people/corporations with power run away with everything, while you and I argue about immigration.

Immigration simply has a low quality control problem and governments are being too generous with immigrants over their actual citizens. Many other countries that do immigration also are suffering similar problems. The problem lies in the government and people with a saviour complex. It's time for people to learn to be realistic again otherwise the country will collapse under from even more problems.

The wealth taken from the people, usually funneled through large mega-companies where people get many of their basic needs met, does not stay in the neighborhoods and does not go into infrastructure, jobs training, and other programs that would actually raise the standard and ease of living. \n\nInstead the wealth is concentrated, finacialized, and a small portion is given to politicians to keep the system functioning exactly as it is for the wealthy at the expense of regular people. As a Canadian, we want to leave! This isn’t the same country our parents and grandparents grew up in. Bringing in 1 million ppl who haven’t contributed to our socialist system yet giving them full benefits is destroying us! If just my husband didn’t get taxed we could afford for me to stay home but instead my mat leave has ended and we can’t find child care! We are in serious talks about selling the house and moving to Thailand or some other country where our dollar is actually worth something. \nTaking suggestions on English speaking countries to move to!\n\nAnd what other country could u move to and tell them to change? One thing never mentioned in the video is that the type of immigrants being brought in now, they are not the same as the old immigrants. Back then, the immigrants were actual skilled workers and builders. Now they are all uber eats guys, or they live off the government. There is a very very big difference between the quality of immigrants that was not mentioned, but needs to be brought up. The immigrants from europe did wonders for Canada. The same cannot be said about the Somalians and arab peoples and this new batch of indians, etc etc

They all come to the GTA. I worry my kiddo won’t have housing for uni when of age and won’t even experience a summer job or as a teen as all retail and all jobs previously for youth to gain first employment and experience are now taken by newly arrived immigrants and they keep the positions as they don’t actually come for degrees and schooling for needed areas of employment in the country

This is what happens when this PM welcomed anyone and everyone from anywhere, including criminals hiding amongst others through Roxham Rd. my bf is engineer and he applied a company and got rejected we were surprised cuz he was actually overqualified for the position. then we found out they mostly hire Indians. I mean, Indian hire Indians...

As an immigrant myself, moved to BC over 25 years ago and I am always grateful for the opportunity I had in Canada, through hard-work and dedication, got proper education and experience right now. However, this immigration open door policy doesn’t benefit anyone. Canadian government should put a stop to it until they can actually put their own citizens first!

People, I literally saw a man from the Middle East in Lachute, Quebec praying behind his car at the gas pump. \nLike he literally took out his magic carpet behind is car while at the pump and started praying while his friend was pumping gas. Imagine me whipping out my yoga mat behind my car at the gas station and busting out some sun salutations..lol\nWhat the actual heck? If that isn’t inflammatory provocative behaviour I don’t know what is.

The ones I feel sorry for are those that have been here for 10+ years that actually had to present some skills to get into the country during the time when we had a more fair system in place. They're also on the receiving end of these sentiments while watching people getting a free pass into the country that come with far less desirable skills and attitudes.

Our system is overloaded - transportation, municipal, social systems, health systems, and education systems!!! Foodbanks and shelters are full; and we're failing actual Canadians. Lastly, crime - violent crime has increased. Look at Brampton and tell me, with a straight face, that isnt the case.

An immigrant student told me she was lured by the ads in India to move to Canada, they promised housing, and a job. When she got to Canada she had to room with 4 people in a 1 bedroom apt, worked the graveyard shift at Tims and couldnt get in to the classes she needed at school, she returned to India bc she said her quality of life was actually better there. Why would Canada bring immigrants to the country with lies like this?

I am a permanent resident of Canada and born in the US. I live right outside of Montreal. I actually went to Plattsburgh, NY three times in past two months and each time while on my way back from Plattsburgh, I would encounter several migrants at the bus stop shown on the video. In one of my encounters I saw a group of them wearing ankle monitors. I would see vans standing at the gas station picking up and dropping off migrants. These drivers are helping the problem just to make money. I just heard on the news that greyhound changed the bus stop in Plattsburgh a couple of weeks ago and I wonder if it's because of the illegal migrants. I have been going to Plattsburgh by bus for many years and I've never seen migrants inundate the area as I have in the past year. I knew about Mexicans flying over to Canada so they can walk across the boarder into the US but I didn't know it was this bad. I don't see this problem going away unless Canada works with the US to solve it. It's getting scary out there because there are criminals who has committed serious crimes in their home country and come here on a clean slate to continue their criminal activity. When does this torture end?
