It is very expensive to live in Canada aside from Healthcare everything has become super expensive , Immoving back to my country of birth ,the Philippines, yes it going to take adjustment because if is a poor country , but having no mortgage and have a house and hobby farm I'm sure I will be fine, fresh fruits and vegetables right in my property. Left Canada 30 years ago and returned to an almost unrecognizable Toronto for a visit this summer. The deterioration of infrastructure was obvious. One underlying reason for much of the change is the emphasis on transfer payments and other entitlements, which limits investment potential. There’s only so much money to go around. Tax increases or increased government borrowing to fund development of schools, hospitals, the military, roads etc are not feasible.

It is hard to pinpoint a specific reason why, but since the COVID 19 pandemic the economy in the whole world got weaker and the natural instinct of the people is to find something to blame. \n\nSome countries blame immigrants, others blame refugees, others blame poor government, others blame weak currency policy, like in Japan. I speak German language fluently but I chose Canada. Since 2009 I have been living in Canada permanent. If I didn't have family and other obligations in Ontario I would have left a long time ago and never returned. My biggest issue is that the culture as eroded so much that there is no sense of community anymore. Everyone seems to be competing with each other at all times. Trying to make friends in North America as a whole is brutal. Every time I go abroad it is very refreshing to take part in cultures where people actually look out for one another. When I come back to Canada I always feel starved of what is important in life.

I did plenty of studies back in 2017 because I got a job offer in Canada. I paid the money to the immigration lawyer. As a qualified artisan, a qualified artisan with a red seal certificate which Canada introduced in my country, they told me that I need to pay and get my qualifications redone and tested again. That is where I stopped. This is a.money making scheme. Bullshit in red letters. I stopped the process and I am not sorry I did it.
