As a Canadian I truly belive our gov in canada is next level incompetent and they don't think immigrants are a problem at all, if not a solution cause we have to give everyone the benefit of the doubt for some reason, indians are our second most common race as well as very much involved with our politics and police even though about 7 years ago there wasn't a single Indian in canada hardly. We also get mostly low grade migrants without much education and are advertising heavily to India and Africa to come start a life in canada for some fucking reason even though where I live average wages are about 45k and average rent is 2.2x higher then 8 years ago and most groceries are about 40 to 80% higher since trudeau got elected too and you make less money often times here for the same jobs so all that probably contributes a lot too to why this is happening

When I was earning a fraction of what I earn now I was able to save nearly half my pay cheque and now that I earn significantly more I can't even save. Things changed radically over the last 10 years with quality of life and health care in the toilet. I can save more and live a better quality of life in Mexico

Strangely I know Germans who emigrated to Canada recently and who love to live there now. So for outsiders the situations looks way brighter than from the inside. It is the same in Germany though. People are so dissatisfied even though they are living the dream compared to 80% of the world population.

Look at these protests, how many Indians do you see here representing other states of India. It looks like the protest of state of Punjab.\nMost of these do not even call themselves indian or are proud of Country India. I have been in this country all my life and have 2 children who was born here and have college degree. Now they can't even find a job for over 4 months. The sad part is I recently got laid off and I can't even find a job and I have a degree in Civil Engineering. It's unfortunate to see what's happening to Canada. ?

I am a nurse, and the public thinks the hospital is a place to get their oxy for free. They take hospital beds even though they are medically clear by the MRP. Most of this people doesn't pay taxes and they have the audacity to tell us medical professionals they pay for our wage. Ever though half of my pay is deducted to tax and deductible every biweekly. How about our health care (OHIP). Never having to worry about purchasing health insurance in case something happens. As a Canadian myself, what I don’t understand is why the heck would you want more people in country when 1 some places in Canada don’t have clean water, 2 rent/taxes are just way to high to sustain two people for food. Even the indigenous population hasn’t even had proper help in a long time. Sucks that one moment the government was helping looking at old residential schools only to stop once media stop covering it. I don’t care that they come to our country but you at the very least gotta respect our time and culture here, rather than expecting everyone to bend a knee to their needs. Just my two cents

Before 2016 ish Canada got better international students who kept their head down and focused on their studies and actually being good citizens in Canada it’s been down hill ever since and even worse since covid some of these guys can’t even form a coherent sentence plus some of these kids get their families in here on visitor visa then get them a refugee visa through lawyers

The first point is not hypocrisy as every country makes/modifies its policies keeping in mind what is good for that country, so that is not hypocrisy. We are making a conscious choice when we are planning to study in Canada, Canada doesn't guarantee anyone PR or anything else, you just become eligible but that doesn't make you demand for it.... There are many basic logical points you have missed....
