Blame the agents who brought the students to Canada giving false promises.

First they have to check the courses done and certificates obtained. Most of the so called students don't attend any class. They work during daytime and listen to recorded lessons in the evening. Chatgpt is used to write answers. Most of them are 1 year course. Universities and colleges offering such courses have to be blacklisted.And the tuition fees have to be reimbursed. Students are not the ones to be blamed and punished. Those who provided such avenues are the culprits.

Its good having high hopes, not by working in a coffee shop, by undercutting wages and not studying. Encourage future students to attend good and reputed public universities, take up degrees that is growing like AI, crypto amongst others. And when one is here one has to integrate with the local society here. Which in my experience is absolutely a rare sight.

These people make life difficult for genuine students most of them have fake ilets

They left India through these means to get citizenship in those foreign countries, now why should India help them ? This is bringing a bad press for India. The Indian government should make a press release to tell its citizens to abide by the laws of foreign countries. These students should return to motherland once their visa expires.

There should be a cap on international students at the masters, phd and professional program levels. Our students can't move up.

Canadian government used international students money during the covid post covid time to make money. Only source of revenue that time and after now they have throwing them after taking every penny out of the international student. Not only India all international students no future for them. They had no stood more than 20 to 30 lakhs to come into the country. Now the cleaning out

He shouldnt let anymore in at all for at least 5 years. Send them all back to India. This situation goes much deeper than temporary foreign workers and international students.

5 years too late - once the visas are expired send them all home. Many were fake students and unqualified to become permanent residents.

Good for Indian students, there is nothing that Canada has to offer to Indian students after paying min 50k to their fake universities. They are trap leading towards low level jobs for Canadian employers where none of the Canadians want to work. Let the Canadian work on these jobs. Save these money and invest in India, you would definitely get better returns than Canada.

This new policy is aimed at reducing the 26000 temporary immigrants to 13000. Does it make any sense. The real problem of immigration is at students coming in lakhs.

There needs to be a hard ban on immigration from India, Pakistan and Bangladesh (aka those that most abuse the system). Yeah Indian students come to Canada and empty food banks intended for Canadians, occupy rental houses needed for Canadian families, and take all service jobs making it hard for Canadian born students to find part time work.... They also get free services paif for by Canadian taxpayers for Canadian citizens... Canada gets ripped off by students of every race and nationality.... Canadians getting totally fed up. Foreign workers need to be reduced and Trudeau should be the first guy kicked out.

I moved to Canada in 2017 as an immigrant (international student). It literally feels like a different country now. It’s not at all racist to say the immigration numbers are way too high. It’s basic maths.
