Isn't it already super restrictive and not easy to get into the country for the immigrants? Only highly educated, young people with rich parents are welcomed lol. They bring people from other countries, because there's not enough people to pay the taxes. The more taxes people pay the better educational and health system become, and overall societal infrastructure. Homeless people here most likely local drug addicts from poor areas of the city, immigrants are usually hard working and dedicated people. These ring wingers want to freeze there by themselves, while population going down and people moving to US for better opportunities, or something lol

On one hand, the declining brith rate means we need immigration if we don't want the economy to crumble. On the other hand, there really isn't any available houses right now and bringing more people sounds like a bad idea at the moment.

All people have the right to practice their religion but when you move to a new country, you can’t expect that country to change everything for your religion you have to adapt you have to share you have to compromise, and this is the problem with some people not all in different religions not just Muslims There are many people in society that take their religion to the extreme and that’s the problem. I know, what I am about to say isn't easy to swallow. Because I also understand how prevailing sentiments of fear are, when it's easier to blame another group for our shortcomings. Problem is we don't get to choose who comes into Canada, but we are perfectly accountable for whom we vote. Who we vote responsible in the end for policies that make or break a Country. They draft 5-10-20 years road maps for a Country's growth, the trace demographic's trend, births, jobs creations etc etc. They are responsible to understand Economics factors and how they are interwoven into Global trenches. Furthermore they are responsible to manage money budget and spending but above all control waste. I mean Canada became an Global Oil dominator second only to Saudi and we blame migrants? Sounds to me we should kick someone's teeth in, but that ain't my neighbour Cheng or Abhuoul. BTW I was born in the late 70's from Italian migrants, came back again in 95. I left a dead Canada in early 2000 and never looked back.

Canada has so much space to house even 20 million more people. I mean per square inch Ontario is well bigger than the entire country of Nigeria, which boasts 300 million people...without an accommodation issue. What's wrong isn't an immigration issue because Canada advertised itself as appealing and immigration friendly, what's wrong is a housing and infrastructure issue. Canada quite simply needs to get to building

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that when you let the amount of new immigrants into Canada in the last 3 years that exceeds the total immigrants admitted in the prior 10 years, you are going to see major shelter inflation. Couple that with a low-interest rate policy post GFC and leave rates for that low for that long and you are going to witness an epic housing crisis. But not just that - these new immigrants become fodder of cheap labor that pushes out our very own Canadian citizens from these positions, with the more marginalized ones ending up on the streets. \n \nThere is a Motel 6 in my neighborhood that has been taken over by the Canadian government and converted to temporary housing for new immigrants. All paid for by Canadian taxpayers. Why isn't our own government using these funds to fix the housing crisis, or help it's own citizens with more affordable housing but instead they continue to exacerbate this problem by letting a huge wave of immigrants that overwhelms the Canadian infrastructure. More proof? Notice more locked up goods in your local stores? The demand shock has pushed the cost of living for everything from food to shelter that these Indians who are these same new immigrants are resorting to shoplifting, and extortion! \n \nIf you are going to bring in immigrants to prop up Canada's aging demography at least tighten your admission standards and bring in more educated ones, with more liberal, more considerate and more courteous dispositions. It makes me so mad seeing her sitting there talking mess about how no family should go through that. This makes people hurt people. This disgusting that this isn't a crime.

This came up in my feed, I'm in England ??????? and I've always rented as finances have never really been enough to get on the property ladder. I started off in a Private rental and thankfully I'm now in Social housing with an Assured Tenancy so it would be extremely difficult for the housing association to evict me and they have to prove to fault in court and they can't serve me a no fault notice. However rent has always been my number 1 priority bill, when I rented privately I had a Standing order set up with the bank and they drew the money out every month to pay the landlord. I set it so they drew it 3 days before the rent payment date and to account for weekends as banks don't pay out on weekends. In England ??????? rent is classed as paid when it leaves the tenants account not when a landlord receives it, so that's why I set up to leave 3 days early so it never debited late. Now I live in Social housing and it's been fantastic for me and my needs and I'm super lucky as there isn't much social housing about here anymore. I now pay rent by the method requested by the housing association which is direct debit and I pay it on the due date now as direct debits are credited to your rent account on the actual due date even if it's a weekend and then bank draws it out on the Monday. Rent is so important, I can call the housing association if anything is broken or not working and they send someone to fix it without any extra charge to me as it's all in with the rent. You have to pay your rent and if you can't afford it then look for something cheaper and give notice to your landlord.

So Ironic isn't it, the West invade other countries for a long time and know they deliberately get themself invade.

Why is it only military aged males coming from Pakistan? Also, many of the Muslim nations these refugees come from there isn't a conflict nor a serious national problem, they just want welfare. Canada isn't Candians' territory any longer. Richmond BC in 74% Chinese complete with secret Chinese police.

They could've stopped in Columbia. They could've stopped in Panama. They could've stopped in Coasta Rica. They could've stopped in Nicaragua. They could've stopped in Honduras or El Salvador. They could've stopped in Mexico. This isn't about Asylum. It's about American politicians incentivising mass illigal imigration and then giving them all voting rights so that one party stays in power forever. Meanwhile, they're getting more welfare than American citizens, and American homeless are left to fend for themselves.

Isn't canada itself an immigrant country? Who is the indigenous in canada? Red indians no?

Immigrants come from ALL countries. So it's not one group over another. This isn't about race. I know, very hard for the Left to grasp that concept. It's about integration. About our own Canadian culture. Our own Canadian values. Brampton Ontario, Surrey BC, Richmond Hill BC, Markham Ontario and so on. When new immigrants are told they don't have to integrate into Canadian culture, learn our languages English or French, share our Canadian values, or wave our Canadian flag. But instead, they are allowed to build their own mini countries within our Canadian borders, then Canadians are slowly losing Canada. One city at a time.

110k thousand people a month. We are building 250k houses a year. Math is hard, I get it. But this isn’t a hard problem. Stop letting in so many people, or start the largest series of construction Canada and possibly the world has ever seen. Please, blame the govt. I don’t think citizens or immigrants are to blame. Finding stable work in Canada is a challenge these days even for permanent residents/new citizens. No guarantee of work even after acing an interview and building skills as needed. At this point I feel like immigrants are just tax paying scapegoats, who are used by the government and hated by local people. This is not real inclusiveness. Govt must give priority to their citizens and encourage immigration if there are real opportunities to offer. Everyone needs work and stability inorder to live a civilized and stable life. Calling loads and loads here to benefit the economy and politicians just be called third world trash isn’t fair.

No one can afford housing in the Western world anymore. We're not the world's police, this isn't our problem. We need to look inward and tackle our domestic issues before we can even think of tackling the world's problems.

Racism isn't an issue. Governmental ineptitude is, at all levels. And I came to the conclusion some time ago, that people living on the streets and in abject poverty is what the governments want. This isn't just an issue in Canada. It's happening all over, and it is fully deliberate.

So many people come and commit crimes, ignore our laws and live off the government. We needed certain skilled people and I could care less what country they come from as that immigration is crucial to our economy and population. Right now there isn't enough housing for our own citizens. It's irresponsible. If families want to sponsor an immigrant family that's awesome. The rest of us want our tax money actually going to our citizens. That's not racist, that's common sense.
