Some of the data shared is incorrect. For example you dont need 190k salary for mortgage. Even someone with an average income of 60k can own a home. few points are absolutely wrong-\nCanada provides one time post graduation work permit(PGWP) only once after completion of study..They never promised to any international students to give PR or Citizenship but Canada gives you time to establish your comprehensive ranking score in order to get the permanent residency but these students who are protesting could not fit in that criteria, Thats why they are looking for the extension in their work permits which makes no sense actually.A fun fact a lot students can't talk in English here bcuz they hardly study or learn some skill. I applied for Canadian visitor visa since 70 days ago as I have all the conditions that you must have it if you want to get visa without obstacles for rejection as an official documents with financial status including bank account with title deeds for properties and long history of travel including Schengen area and UK but unfortunately today I was disappointed when I received an email from Canadian immigration visa office that I wasn't got a visa but instead I rejected and the causes first they are not sure that I will return back to my country so what else should I provided to believe me and how do they know that those who already got visa they will return back ? Do they have a magician stick ? The second reason that I am single and I don't have strong family tie in my country , the question is : are you sure that one have a family when he gets visa they don't applied for family gathering later on ? I am shocked to hear this from a CBC reporter saying IMMIGRANTS get money from the government!! Where on earth did you get this ,outrageous information!! People who apply to come to Canada as legal immigrants , have to go through a strict points system.that can take years . Plus medical and security checks. They have to speak English or French , be educated and most of all have a skill ,trade or profession that Canada needs!as Canada does not have enough highly skilled workers. They don’t need to be deported if they have been background checked and have an application that states they can legally work to get PR, anybody on student and that are unvetted should be deported unless they can provide all documentations or be documented and get jobs in sectors like construction and healthcare. I am from India living in India now. Never lived or worked in Canada, but visited Canada multiple times as a tourist.\n\nThis situation is kinda tricky for everyone. While immigration is unavoidable for any nation of today, the way people immigrate to other countries really frustrates. Nations just go by whatever documents are submitted to the embassies to grant visit/student/work visas. Most of the time, the documents are cooked up or forged in order to secure entry into other countries. This is very common in India as well. \n\nIndia too have serious problem with the Canadian Govt, which openly backs & harbors terrorists from India such as Khalistanis. If I was Prime Minister. I would Ban the immigrant Visa program for the next 10 years. I would deport anyone who has overstayed there welcome (those with expired visas) or are here (illegally) and now (not documented) \n\nThat alone would take many out of the shelters, homes, rentals, streets that should not be in the Country anymore. Re Indian students as a former teacher I have to also say that many Indian students coning here are lacking the basics. I also found that students educated in US states like Florida and Texas were around two grades behind. Many Indian studenrs here have high expectations but poor background and inadequate English language skills. It is a shame that people are getting into Canada with false documentation and credentials. Also they are enrolling in very dubious schools and it is no surprise that they find life here very difficult. Hopefully the Canadian government will take greater care to see that only suitable candidates are allowed to come to Canada as students. Also students from other countries should avoid coming here if they don't really have sufficient skills and should make sure that they are choosing reputable educational institutions. There are lots of private institutions with fancy names. Don't be fooled.

let's be honest as an international student I am in awe of how some internationals can study in Canada when they can't even speak English properly .. when I came here I needed to pass IELTS and get a band 7 for everything all my documents and transcripts were directly sent from the official email of my institution. I need to pass an exam before enrolling for my course, I have criminal, abuse registry, and child registry checks in my country and even when I am in Canada. Did all the immunizations needed and abide by their law i need to submit all these documents every 6 months access. to the policy of the program I am doing. And as an international remember you are coming to Canada they have their own culture so you need to respect and adjust to it, not Canada adjusting to you... even though Canada is diverse they have its own rules so yes adapt to the place where you are. And to them blaming the agency you the people who are using them knew exactly what they were getting into now you are complaining I did all my applications through DIY as IRCC is a direct applicant why need agents for application. Ircc should also question why a person needs an agent to process their applications. If they can't understand basic instruction and basic legal matters would you think those students will be able to survive the education system here in Canada? let's be real a lot of students are taking short-term courses, short like 8 months, and yes to get PR (I wouldn't lie cause that would be hypocrisy all international students have that aim, and if you say no just stay in your country). Now this a lesson to IRCC that they really need to make a thorough background before offering a PR permit ..and please when you are in public speak English respect the people around you... and don't speak too loud in your language when you are in working places.. uphold professionalism again remember you are in Canada a french English speaking country. They need a pass port card to enter the United States that's all stop acting crazy and they can legally come in with a passport card it only cost 30 dollars get real that will say they were undocatment to document just a simple passport card

I strongly recommend moving to Jerusalem. It's a Western city, with excellent healthcare, (about 25% of the Drs & other healthcare workers are Muslim) public transportation, security, modern malls. The call to prayer is heard throughout the city, and it is common for Muslims to spread a prayer rug. Easy access to Al Aqsa, and many mosques, hijab is common, mostly people dress modestly. You have a choice of public schools, Jewish, Moslem, or secular. All signs, government forms and documents are in Hebrew English and Arabic. You can get along just fine with English.\nI would, however, suggest ditching the hat.

Situation of the attitudes of Visa officers and other officers in China is horrific. You don’t get visa or other certificates even after you submitted all. Just they tell you to apply and take Visa and other fees but later deny it and take 6-8 months To even deny. You feel stuck, and helpless. You don’t raise voice otherwise they will anyways not entertain if you say a word. Many times you feel stuck to be Indian Citizen. They told to get single status certificate but in India so called IAS officers don’t know about it and throw us out as soon as they hear it. Even before throwing us out they let us come multiple times to their office to just meet them , so that they can throw us out by demeaning the integrity and regret being Indian Citizen.

This is not entirely unlike what women experience. If you go to the Indian consulate in Canada, you would find they behave similarly. The situation has improved a lot compared to 2015 and 2016. I lost my passport in Canada and was living 300 kilometers away from Toronto. When I went to the Toronto consulate to get my passport (now everything is done by BLS, but it wasn't the case back then), the officer, despite knowing I had all the necessary documents, insisted I obtain an unnecessary police document related to an FIR. I was surprised and pleaded extensively, but was still told to go back and return with the document. When I returned, the police officer told me they don't issue such documents. I went back to the consulate and was still denied. I protested there for 20-30 minutes. Eventually, with the same documents I initially presented, I obtained my passport. Such incidents used to be quite common.

The problem is the US, we need to fix our problems at home with immigration first!!!! \nWe have immigrants on the waiting list, doing the right thing by following the law!!! Waiting in line to have there case and situation heard.\n\n Immigrants from the 60s 80s never got free housing free food were never allowed to enter the country the way the immigrants today are just entering and they're staying in 5 star hotels in New York City never in the country's history has it been seen.\n Never in the country's history has resources from US citizens been given to immigrants I have entered illegally.\n And now if you are from Venezuela you're ahead of the line ahead of all the people that've been waiting to legalize their status these people are just getting documents faster than everybody else why is that.\n We need to fix the situation in our country first and take care of the people that are in line doing it the right way.

Thanks for sharing the info atleast it will be useful for millions of Nigerians,in my own case I used an agent and it was last year April 2022 but I didn't get the visa until this year 2023 and so I decided to embarked on d journey last month Oct but to my greatest surprise the immigration officers turned back from Cairo airport ,later I got the letter from my ircc stated that I used invitation letter to apply and what I applied with was my hotel booking so they asked me to replace some expired documents within 7 working days which I later did and then ive been waiting for their reply since, plz kindly assist me and explain to me better with your experience ma,thanks Yemi
