Why are we insulting Russia. Russia should be our trade partner. Yet, we support Israel. Disgusting. I agree with the tariff stance, but the whole Russia and China criticism is rooted in Canada's relationship with the US. They're enemy was our enemy. Smart'n up Trudeau.

As an American, I want our Canadian neighbors to know that MANY Americans agree with and support Canada ?. Our President is an embarrassment to the whole world.

As a European, it's a pitty I'm not in America anymore. I'm very curious what the American citizens think about this. This will have a negative effect on the entire world. I don't know if Trump realizes it, but America will not come out on top. It will become the biggest loser of this whole ordeal, I'm afraid. This is becoming dangerous. To my mind, Trump would have started the trade war with Canada no matter what measures Canada undertakes. My guess is the underlying motive behind the whole theatre is to somehow pressurize Canada into complete submission. Remember his comments about Canada should become the 51st state? I presume that in reality his eyes are set on Canada‘s vast resources and the potential north-west passage which would be a fantastic gift to his master Putin.

I seem to recall the whole tariff thing started when Donald wanted to even up the 200 billion dollar subsidy to Canada which doesn’t exist, then he chose the immigration and fentanyl crisis that doesn’t exist … can’t wait to hear the next excuse.
