I’ve read a lot of comments from people saying “Trudeau ruined Canada” in response to people expressing their support for Trudeau in this time.\n\nThat’s not really a great point.\n\nIf Trudeau hasn’t been good for Canada, but gives a coherent, inspiring, and professional speech in this moment that unites Canadians and others alike, then that should speak so much to how awful this situation is. I am Canadian Citizen, but 100% support Trump for what he is doing for his country. Every country should be independent whatever their core values. I hate making a group of countries to blackmail other countries like EU, BRICS, NATO are doing around the world. Of course, we can make group of countries to fight with poverty, climate, making people life better, but what NATO and EU are doing just pathetic.

I am a proud Canadian and embrace our sovereignty. We fought in WW2 for two years before the U.S joined our side . Rescued 6 of their diplomats in Iran in 1979. We were at their side in Afghanistan after the horrors of 9/11. Our good people of Gander Newfoundland sheltered, clothed and fed them in that aftermath when their planes were grounded. We sent planes to Los Angeles as did Mexico to fight the wildfires after Trump imposed his tariffs and pushed his annex ideology and making us a 51st state. That was a slap in the face to every soldier who died standing for our country and what we represent. From my heart I thank all of you for your support. My husband and I are seniors and we will be applying for citizenship in Canada. Do the right thing, we all have a civil duty to understand our candidates to the very best of our ability. Well, I was feeling really great about all the support from around the world, including the kind words of many Americans (thank you), but then I watched this same speech on the Fox youtube channel and the comments are exactly the opposite.
