Imagine the understanding and appreciation they'd have of the Quran and Hadith moreover, they'd be able to reap benefits from the work of all major scholars. InshaaAllah. Vsf services in the uk. I watched for 4 hours as security at the front desk wemt through ever entrants application and told them the picture format they had was wrong. They made everyone retake pictures in a booth for £10 each which they had the keys for (I seen them open it as money got stuck). Only when you go to the desks when your number is called all those people were told their pictures were incorrect an the guy would take them with a camera they had. The original pictures many had come inti the building with were actually the correct formart but they were not accepting them. They were also making people do unnecessary photocopies from the machine in the place, and go on the internet at at ridicules charge unnecessarly. They would also make out there is a mistake on peoples form and then say they would refil it themselves for £10 cash. All these methods were illegal ways of getting money out of people. Dont believe go there and sit for 3 hour and see yourself.

The last time my landlord came to collect rent, I invited him to come up to my apartment to show him I was taking good care of the place (and to hopefully discourage him from renovicting me at some point in the future). He said he didn't have time, as he had to go collect rent from 11 or 12 of his other properties around the city. He also mentioned that he had never seen the inside of my apartment before (despite the fact that he owns it). He has only been in the country for a few years, but apparently he already owned a lot of land here before immigrating. He's a very nice guy, but I can't help but feel that there's something seriously wrong with this picture. We can't base our entire national economy on selling our land and resources to rich foreigners while we produce nothing of actual value.

I am perplexed you guys didn't mention the embarrassing state of health insurance and pharma prices here in the US. Out of all the countries I've been, this is the only one I get scared of getting sick, having an accident or even having to go to the Dentist. We are doing it wrong.

As someone who was born and spent decades growing up in Toronto who moved to the US years ago and spend time regularly in multiple states, I disagree vehemently with what Aba said about safety. Aba did not recognize that not only is the US like 50 different countries, with each state being somewhat unique unto themselves, but the cities are like an amalgamation of 2 or 3 different cities. What I mean by that is about the safety and security aspect, it all depends on where you live and where you hang out. Undoubtedly, US ghettos and the sketchy clubbing districts are generally worse than Canadian housing projects and such. If you live in the regular or especially good parts of the city, it's totally safe. \nBecause most US towns and cities are built around neighborhoods, security and safety is always a big selling point. As long as you avoid the ghetto and late night 'action' areas, it's generally safer than Toronto. Toronto suffers from an outbreak of car break ins, car thefts, home break ins and recently car jackings all over. Many US neighborhoods and areas have no such thing. On a side note, as a POC, I also have experienced far less racism in the US than I used to in Toronto. Without getting into a can of worms, if you live in a Democrat controlled city vs. Republican one, you are going to experience more crime, more homeless, higher unemployment, etc. You guys are referencing LA, which has become far worse, like San Francisco and New York. \nAnd the cost of living comment is ridiculous. Again maybe LA and NYC which are shadows of what they once were. Canada has far higher tax burden, way higher inflation, prices of food, energy, clothes and homes are off the charts. In Texas, Florida, Tennessee and Washington, we have ZERO income tax as well as lower tax than the HST. No way, Aba and Preach are dead wrong on these issues, because they are using LA or NYC as a reference. There's a reason the movies Escape From New York and it's sequel Escape From LA are such prophetic movies.

Life in Canada is isolating, lonely, depressing. People are very closed and guarded, many are snobby, elitist and passive aggressive. It is not an amazing place as it is umfriendly, gray, damp and cold most of the time. The bigger cities got hordes of meth heads and mentally ill vagrants who pollute downtown areas. Canadians like to hole up in their apartments or houses and escape into smoking weed and video games. Many young men can't get girlfriends as the women are stuck up, unapproachable or just plain wrong for long term relationship. 80% of the women chase the 15% alpha males and complain constantly that they can't get a decent guy. Oh and yes, taxes are socialist paradise high. The more you earn the more you are taxed, thus removing the incentive of even trying. Too many laws and regulations hamper development. After your family doctor retires forget finding another. Forget getting medical care unless you got a life threatening issue and even then you might just go south of the border and pay your way.\nI could go on and on, but frankly I don't care. It's a lot easier to move. It's just my opinion, because, supposedly it's a free country. However, a country is only as free as it's people and many Canadians love the prison they created.

Take the stats for example (I had the privilege of going to the hospital in Texas) My bill came to 3000 for a twisted ankle. They charged me over 500 dollars just for walking into the hospital. I'm not knocking that stats, but if you do not have money, you're fucked for health care. Instead of waiting 8 hours to see a doctor, you're now on Web MD trying to diagnose yourself. You are bitching about high taxes, how do you think Schools, Police and fire services, Emergency service hospitals etc etc etc get paid? through wishes and hope? You are again welcome to go anywhere else and enjoy whatever bs they have going they might have low taxes in other parts of the world but your going to have to pay for certain services you are taking for granted here. As Cost of living, if you live in Toronto or BC yes the cost of living is high, but at the same time, the average household income is high as well. I'm sorry minimum wage in most of Canada is roughly 15 dollars an hour, and the average incoming for most provinces is over 100k. I'm not sure what else to say on that subject :D As for things to do, seriously, stop living under a rock. Please go and travel Canada, to name a few things you can travel to Niagara, Go to Banff, Visit hot springs or enjoy any of our national parks. I'm from NB, people migrating from Ontario are driving up the house prices and we have no rent caps. Our public transportation isn't that great, and our food prices are $$$. For the shopping experience, they have the guys go in carrying hand bags. That's going to get their attention since shoplifters could easily put things into the bags and most people don't bring computer bags, hand bags etc when they shop.\n\nI've had instances where people were awful to me for no apparent reason (I'm white), and it struck me that if i was black, I would attribute the terrible treatment to racism since I couldn't think of any other reason for the bad treatment. \n\nAnother form of racism not covered here is the racism of low expectations. If people assume that you are too dumb to understand something or too poor to afford something, that's wrong. Same holds true for treating women as if they won't understand. Usually this behavior is done, not by bad people, but by people who just haven't had a lot of interactions with different people of different races. So they haven't had the chance to have those stereotypes personally disproven.

You guys know that’s the point it’s an unconscious choice so while one wording may make you disagree on the surface another wording may strike a cord with your unconscious mind. It’s supposed to make you respond quick and true with different versions of the question to make your mind work.

To be honest, this whole video seems so biased. I couldn't watch it past the 10 minute mark.\n First of all, if the white guy had been the first to tell the manager that he was interested in the apartments, then of course that same manager is going to tell the 2nd person (asian guy) that the availability is limited. He already HAS a potential renter, why would he need more? The 1st guy already chose one of the apartments, so of course the Asian guy would have less options.\nSecondly, and I'm sorry to say this, but statistically there are more black shoplifting cases than with any other race. It's sad, but true. These retailers are just trying to protect their assets, and it's their right.\nThirdly, that lady was in the wrong, for one, because if a security person is asking to inspect your purse on THEIR retail grounds and you have nothing to hide, then why are you being uncooperative? That just makes you look worse.

I can give you plenty of examples of being racially profiled as a white man, like the time i walked into a Mexican market in L.A. and as i walked in overheard what the cashier charged a Mexican woman for a couple of items, so i grab the same exact items and bring them up to the counter just to be charged 3 times as much.  Go to any swap meet in So. Cal as a white man and see how you are treated amongst the Mexican vendors. And the further south you go the worst it is.  Maybe white people are not supposed to speak up? Or maybe the time a black guy said to the white boy door to door sales man that he was in the wrong neighborhood in Pasadena, Ca.Where do we put the attention? Or is it all about ratings again?
