But still there were lots of people who were ready to put the terrorist tag without even reading the comment. And i feel people need to realise that punjabi youth can not remain silent on the issues concerning punjab and its growth, and if tgey question government and are not happy with their work it doesn’t make them anti national. Also, people feel that distributing these anti national labels is helping our nation, but in reality it is becoming the main cause why communities are separating from each other.

A somewhat depressing video, because it's an actually accurate portrait of the city, as it is. Toronto and Canada as a whole is governed by politicians and bureaucrats, who rely on experts opinion of what could be, if x,y,z all come together as envisioned. These pixie dust ideas are often aspirational, but sadly lack a base in reality. Slogans and cheerleading don't make things happen. Rarely is there enough funding to support implementation of these grandiose ideas, and somehow these same leaders ensure they get a chunk before anyone else, cause they have a standard of living to maintain. They just really feel for the pain and suffering of those who are not them. Toronto and Vancouver used to be Canadian examples, that those of us didn't live or want to live there could still be proud of. These cities also were viewed as examples to follow by other Canadian population centres. So the same issues keep reoccurring, because in abstract theory they could work. By the time reality shows that they are not working, it is too late, and too hard, and too embarrassing to change course. \nA very interesting video by a creator who took her rose coloured glasses ( we all have a pair just admit it), and sees what is and then says it out loud.

This is an interesting overview of Canada and its many issues. I would love to see a follow up video or two looking into these same issues but from a few different perspectives. 1) regionally - Canada is very diverse so our regions are quite different in culture, problems and cause of each. The major regions are: Maritimes/Ontario/Quebec/Prairies/West Coast/ Territories. 2) because of our diverse landscape different races are attracted to different areas. I have not studied this impact on our racism and political issues but would love to see someone like you do so. It appears to me that immigrants are disproportionately gathered along the US/Canada border and big cities, particularly east and west coast. First Nations are disproportionately populated in Rural and northern areas where resources overall are less available to all races. I would expect to find that this population disbursement would also reflect in our political leadership. For example more populated cities are far more likely to have immigrant own businesses and politicians, In rural and northern communities politicians are more likely to be white because First Nations politicians would be more inclined to work within the First Nations political channels where they can actually do more good for their communities. 3) The diversity that makes up 'white' as a race. It appears to me that Canada historically has been more inclined to attract 'White' races versus other 'colours'. We have large populations of British, Swedish, Irish, Russian, Ukrainian, French, Norwegian, and Polish to name a few. All of which have large diversity in their culture and history but are often classified as 'white'. 4) The massive impact the past 5 + years of politics and world affairs have had on the divisions within Canada. Personally I see and feel far, far more judgements between races, economics and regions than ever before.

Life in Nigeria is only decent for those living affluently in Lekki, Victoria Island, Ikoyi, certain areas of Ikeja and Abuja. Outside of that, life for everyday Nigerians is crap. Water & electricity (NEPA) are highly unreliable & intermittent, so fuel-powered generators are a necessity for living everyday life per household or per apartment in apartment complexes. The banking & government systems are notoriously sluggish, taking weeks and months to process simple paperwork such as drivers licenses, passports, certificates, banking transaction reversals, you name it. Bribery is a daily occurrence EVERYWHERE. Police (if you can call them that, mostly untrained thugs) detain & extort motorists and/or people innocently going about their daily lives, just for the money. Many many many people disappear mysteriously without ever being seen again by family or friends. Lots of inter-racial discrimination and animosity between the three major tribes that make up Nigeria… Yoruba, Igbo & Hausa-Fulani. The federal & state governments are horribly corrupt, bordering on dictatorship. Elections are undemocratic, to say the least, with thugs threatening voters at voting booths. I could go on?\n\nThis is why many Nigerians with any amount of wealth live in diaspora, whether that be the UK, Canada, the USA, Europe, or wherever. And, yeah, be prepared for everything being structured & organized in these countries, especially in North America. The cost of living is definitely higher to pay for a higher quality of living. That’s the difference between a developed country vs a country, such as Nigeria, that’s developing or considered ‘third-world’. Unfortunately, here in Canada we cannot account for the last 8 years under our current administration, which has gone rogue & is out of control, causing high inflation, interest rates and housing and cost of living to soar. This is not normal conditions even to those of us natural-born here. So, we feel for immigrants who have arrived in good faith in the last few years. I’m sure their country of origin is looking better than what is being experienced here in Canada currently.

Much love from NYC to Canada. I went to Toronto in April earlier this year and I'm planning on going back later on this year. Yea, I went to Toronto and the last time i went to Toronto was probably in 2007 and trust me, a lot has changed. Same thing in NYC. I feel like too much immigration can cause chaos. It's crazy at the moment here in NYC. This is why legal immigration exists. It's supposed to keep things in control. It may take time but all good things take time and trust me, if you come here legally, you got my respect and good for you.

I think the US has beautiful countryside and wonderful scenery and many lovely people, however, because of the divisiveness of the Republicans and the MAGA/Trump/NRA group which has caused such chaos and violence throughout the States during the past decade things in the US have gone downhill extremely quickly. The number one reason Children in the US are dying from is bullets - not accidents or diseases. That is a terrible statistic and the Republicans are doing absolutely nothing to stop it - prayer doesn’t stop bullets. \nAs a Canadian I used to travel to the US as a tourist but I no longer feel safe going there and will no longer go across the border. Florida seems to have implemented the worst political policies ever in its history and I believe it’s economy is going to absolutely crash. \nIf the States votes Republican in the election it’s going to be in its absolute worst possible political, global, financial, economic, and humanitarian position in its history. It will be a critical crisis for the country….

I lived in Phoenix AZ for 3 years and I miss the state and the travel opportunities close to it, the scenery was absolutely gorgeous, people were nice and friendly for most of them. I surely don't miss the violence associated to a big city like that and the heat in summer but I still miss AZ. I was feeling unsecured cause of the health care and the cost related to it since I was getting older.

Most of these responses seemed to be from left-leaning people in Canada. British Columbia is NDP, socialist leaning, in other words. I'm from Alberta. We recently had an election here and made it abundantly clear we do not want the NDP running our province. We have a gun culture here and won't give up our arms. I didn't read one mention of the PM in Canada. Yet, walk around and all you hear about is the hatred people have of him and the division he has caused. The leader of the NDP sides with him. I actually have dual citizenship, so harbor no bad feelings to the US. I just don't go where there are a lot of left-leaning Dems/Liberals. Alberta to Texas is almost like not leaving Alberta, just going to the ranch down the way and visiting family.

This is the strongest motivation for the innovation, production and exchange of goods and services and is also why the best competitors cannot trust each other and feel the need to deceive, fool, cheat, spy and lie to each other and causes them to build weapons that can basically kill most of the life on this planet and damage most of the environment that can sustain life. \n \nMany nations are comfortable with their lower levels of power and status performance and do not think allocating more resources to move up the ladder will be of much benefit. \n \nPresently, if the economy is not growing, it is considered a failure. This type of thinking cannot go on uninterrupted on a finite planet with finite resources. There needs to be flexibility in the system for the economy to expand and contract and for a contraction to be considered normal and not a problem or a failure. The contraction needs to be just as prosperous and productive as the expansion. For this type of thinking to work, there needs to be some new economic theories and models developed along with some new types of money and financial systems based on economic sustainability not on economic growth and money inflation. \n \nI am sure there will be some Nobel prizes awarded to the academics, economists, corporate CEO's and business leaders and of course politicians and government officials that can figure out how to make a sustainable economy work and how not to devalue the nation’s money in the process.\n \nThe way this can begin and improve peace and fairness at the same time is when our business and government leaders along with our brightest and smartest among us including the most wealthy among us can learn to be much more truthful, honest and trustworthy and can start to understand that the wellbeing of others benefits everyone and is the bases for morality.

If América don't stop this and keep accepting this total of immigrants, I'm afraid that America will feel in so much pressure that will do the same thing that President Putin have done with Ukraine. I feel bad for the immigrants who are able to get into America. Quebec (montreal): Medical care, any public services rude, irresponsive and bureaucracy sucks n complicated (example: people wait for uncertainty just to renew their driving license), THE CRUELEST THING IN QUEBEC INCLUDING MONTREAL IS MEDICAL SERVICES (my god reminds me of third world countries i have ever been in), they will just ignore you heartlessly even if you have RAMQ (quebec heath care coverage), u have to have family doctor n u have to sign up to get one IN UNCERTAIN TIME, some they get family doctor within 3 years, others 5,7 years so on so forth so uncertain, so if u dont have family doctor u wont get treated, and if u have family doctor u will hve to stick to where your family doctor works at only, and to get appointment at some clinic they will put you on wait for some days or even weeks if u get the availability slots for u, if u got emergency u will wait 8,10,12 or 14 hours in pain. I feel bad for montreal citizen i swear, they r so patient with all of this while the tax is one of highest in canada. \n\nNow for rental (apartment in general), the check is crazy long it takes around 2 weeks just to rent, if u r lucky u will get taken if u r not then the landlord will take others, the 1 year lease means 1 year, so far to my experience in alberta like for example, 1 year lease but minimum period u have to stay usually around 3-6 months n after that u can leave with notice to the landlord to vacate the unit. \n\nBut in montreal, u have to find other person to transfer the lease, n if u found the person like i told u earlier, the landlord will check the person n the approval/ disapproval is by the landlord. I had to stay for one year living like hell cause the neighbors freaking so loud n partying every week end night till dawn. Couldn’t even have good sleep for work, so I called 911 two times, the police couldn’t do anything, yet the landlord n the building management kept on saying that they gave warning etc to that tenant, but they didn’t take any further action toward that, n i know they dont care, they care only for money. When i started to file complaint to the TAL(quebec rental board, they r irresponsive, complicated procedures, n in the end they dont solve any problem, on their site said that renter or landlord has to retain lawyer, the hell they r there for then? \n\nThe apartment building is tiny, tight old, the wall is thin, u can hear everything from your neighbour upstair, downstair n on your side too.. \n\nMONTREAL IS ALSO SO DENSED AND TIGHT, the main road so tight with cars parked on both sides of the road to ways only one lane on each way, cos mostly apartment building they dont provide parking spot, so they have to park on the road side, i feel bad for the bus driver i swear, with snow mounting on both side of the road makes driving bus is just so stressful, almost every neighbourhood looks dirty, trashes, people littering every where. Im Not complaining but that’s what it is, im living in montreal currently for more than one year but im just gonna move out of here lol

Bro, Preach isn't lying. I had to limit myself on Bread and Cheese in order to lose weight cause of my slow metabolism. Chicken and chocolate milk is what I had to eat to go from 260lbs to 180lbs from age 26 to age 40. People around here generally don't fuck around cause they sure as fuck don't wanna find out. I have thought about this move to CA but here in Nigeria I have about 5 years career growth in HR and I am currently a team lead and by next year or before the end of this year my promotion to supervisor is very certain plus I work remotely and pay not bad atall but can get better lol... This is my true story of a horrific experience that happened to me on renting apartments in Montreal, i had to look for a new apartment to rent due to having to leave my apartment i was at due to fire damages that was caused by another tentant in apartment complex,anyhow i soon there after found a new apartment,this new apartment was renting for $1100.00 it had just been renovated and really nice and clean,however my horrific experience was just about to get much worse,just at the time the covid19 outbreak came around i was settling into my new apartment and really happy i had found a new place,so i thought...i soon began feeling very sick in this apartment and i kept trying to figure out why i was feeling this way,well to cut my true story short,i found out after 5 months and becoming really sick that there were drug dealers who had set up a meth lab in an apartment agent to my mine and the fumes from cooking there meth drug had been seeping into my apartment getting me very sick, still today i have lingering horriffic symptoms do to this meth poisoning, i have seen doctors and explained to them about my bad experience,i have persistance symptoms of lung problems, sinuses and bad headackes which start in this place,i found out the chemical these drug dealers were using to cook this meth was called Ether which is a mix of sulfuric acid and alcohol along with other very toxic dangerous chemicals,however the Ether chemical mix has a very sweet smell not a bad smell which is very deceiving to the sense of smell leaving you thinking how wounderful the air smells around,if you`ve rented you know there are all kinds of smells around,however it was to late by then ,how i found out it was a meth lab is a long story,i had been poisoned really bad but just as bad as getting sick is that when there is meth contamination that seeps into apartments,everything becomes contaminated,i mean everything,from cloths to furniture,tv bed,the smallest objects everything,i couldn`t take anything with me due to meth residue contamination,meth lab spores are really bad,they will linger in everything for years continue making one sick and very hard to wash or get rid of,i had to dispose of everything i had,thousands of dollars lost,all my belongings,it was horrible so horrible,the land lord had no idea this was going on in his building only later to know,also from what i have found out is that these dangerous meth lab apartments are common,i rent from a friend now and will never again rent from others,i still am sick with long lasting bad symptoms fearing for my health ,so i say Renter beware.

Yeah, the talking behind back is real and I just don't get it. Especially if it is about a trivial matter. I'd rather have an adult conversation... it is something I am really struggling. I am at a point in which I gave up having friends and I used to always have big groups back in Italy. It is also cause I was depressed for a long time here (Edmonton) but idk. I feel like canadians struggle too... the amout of people that go by just if they can have their weed or whaterver they take it is unreal to me. Also, the harsh weather and how cities are built for cars instead of people lower the possibily for socilization for everyone. Anyways... it is what it is. Canada has been getting rich off all the Chinese immigrants for year's. Starting with Expo and the man that everyone loves Jim Pattison. Do your research. The growing Chinese population is rising and molding Canada to be a new version of China. The problem is that it's happening everywhere and the new problem is that it's become easier to play and flash the overused racist/discriminative card. If the government does not act now and recognize their manifestation of this major problem that is shifting Canada's true values and this will grow out of hand and it will be to late. Many Canadian's are already feeling the rage and soon someone's rage will explode causing a ripple. There has to be a conversation and although it appears it would be a late of a game play it still needs to be addressed and stop sweeping under rug. Canada is known for it's non confrontational image but someone will shake it up and it might be to late by then for the government to step in and of course not be accountable. They get a lot of money each year from the demographics and don't want to do much about the growing explosive problem. Housing is a key problem and the Chinese population has gravely diminished Canadian born lives and their families. Yes understandably their are many born Chinese immigrants but we are discussing the new blood with deceptive intentions.

Personally, I have the upmost respect towards the percentage of people who practice their religion’s peacefully and with peaceful intent. However, I have absolutely no respect towards the percentage of people who practice their religion’s violently and with violent intent. Instead, I feel disappointment towards the percentage of people who practice their religion’s violently. They have put themselves into a position of being easy targets for manipulation. Through manipulation they are being misguided and eventually radicalized.\nWhich is twisting their perspective upon reality causing them to say and do things that they normally would not say or do.\nPersonally, that is why I generally never became interested in religion.

I realize that some people are asses....that will never end. But the term racism is thrown around way too much. First of all, it’s tribalism and it’s a normal part of being human. Any thing that is ‘other’ or different will be viewed with suspicion and or dislike. It will never be stopped, it can’t be educated away and it can’t be made to go away by immersing people in multiculturalism. Think back to when you were a child even...seeing someone who was handicapped would make you wary of them. Now, when those normal perceptions cause you to treat someone bad or as a lesser person is when it becomes a problem. That CAN be educated away. But to attempt to make people feel bad because of there responses to the faces on the computer is ridiculous. EVERYONE, regardless of race, will have tendencies towards tribalistic thinking.
