During Covid the nursing home I worked at for 21 years had not one Indian worker. In 3 years we have 94 percent Indian and they work every hour god sends. Good worker I must add but it’s strange for the residents listening to the Indian language being spoken all day, even though they are not supposed to use their birth languages in common areas.

It's easy to blame immigration for all of Canadas problems. Sure there are a lot of Indian immigrants, however, they go to work, not bleed the system dry. Canada is a huge country, there should not be a housing crisis. However, some want to raise the prices of real estate through gentrification, stopping new housing projects. I came from France back in 2015 whith my familly when Harper was still prime minister at the time , really I'd say things have been really great , my family and I have worked hard to get to where we are today and have always wanted to give back to our community here but I am disgusted to see in 2024 what Trudeau has done to the country and to see that immigration is no longer as prestigious as it used to be. Unlike some people we have today, I had to wait 3 years with my family before receiving approval to move to Canada (after so many exams, appointments and waiting times). I did my middle school here until college and I'm currently still looking for work in correctional and when I see that people arrive here afterwards without being permanent residents, who are literally flooding spots at colleges/university and also jobs that are normally open for young canadians in their 15-16 (When I was in high school, my first job was at a McDonald's, and without exception, everyone there was Canadian. Today, when I go back to the same McDonald's for a cheeseburger every now and then, the entire staff is nothing but Indians) .As a person with an immigrant background, I'm the first one to say that there's a very big problem in Canada, and that current immigration, mainly from India, is no longer for economic reasons but to reunite families.(They do not, and will never, assimilate into Canadian culture.)Now that I've grown up in Canada for almost half my life, I'm already thinking about either returning to France or start over somewhere else if nothing changes.\n\nThe Trudeau government, uncontrolled immigration, dangerous idelogies from extreme far left idea, rising unemployment, and economic misery getting worse every day , gradually pushes me away from the country I love, Oh Canada.

Students who have a CRS score 500+ struggle to make a living while your government provides easy immigration by asylum to people who themselves burned their countries down. Its sad to be in a nation where getting a call connected to the CRA takes more time than getting political asylum. Your government spends your tax money on asylum seekers and their 6-7 kids who come with them and not international students. We bring money to your nation. 7 billion dollars is what the students bring your nation every year, while your PM sends 5 times as much to fund someone else’s war. (I remember the shock of flying into Toronto on business and walking outside to get a taxi... there was an endless line of Indian guys wearing Turbans, waiting by their taxis. It was a very strange feeling, as I was not sure if I was in Canada or India.) About 10 years ago, I moved back to Ontario to live in Guelph and had heard the joke about Brampton becoming 'Bramladesh' by people at the dog park, and in the past 5 years, (since they built the massive temple in Guelph) the place has turned into a mini India, as EVERY house put up for sale, is bought by a family from India, with 4 or 5 cars in a 2 car driveway, (strangely, as soon as they move into the house, they all rip out the asphalt driveway and replace it with white concrete??) they seem to be a tribal people and every house is filled to capacity, as the husband and wife are with their kids, the brother and his wife and their parents, all living together. (They are friendly people and they don't cause any trouble... my only issue is the intense stench of spices from their house that fill the air 24/7 to the point that you cannot sit in the back yard or open a window, without being punched in the face from the powerful odour of spices!)

If every Indian than emigrated to the west had just set up a business in their homeland and worked on it India would already ve developing and these people would likely have a higher quality of life in terms if PPP.

I have lived abroad for last 47 years, with god's blessings and grace life has been good, have pension and free medical treatment doctors medicine,i travel to India every year but medical treatment is a scam there and any thing which is simple abroad is complicated in India especially if they know you are living abroad they make it more complicated or scam you especially for medical treatment, traffic in Bombay is terrible, takes hours to move around in cabs , public transport its not possible to travel, so much or garbage around and pollution and the heat and rain its impossible to get out the house starting March until September its terrible luckily September to March can manage in India and its winter time abroad during that time,if it was not for the winter abroad my first choice would be abroad compared to India, people who are used to comfortable life and maids in India can't manage abroad, even I can easily afford a maid when I m in India I do my own house work in India as i do it abroad\nThe millions of Indian who live abroad complain but never coming back for good\nSorry to say indian are the most racist even among themselves caste, religion, State,and 99% of indian are fake and show off much more than their worth

Someone above asked why so much Indians. you see indian student's out there - yes they had to pay 20K-40000CAD FEES to colleges + now a days 20,600 CAD GIC to Banks in Canada. \nEach in total spends 40-80k cad. \n\nAnd every day from the tim cup , pizza/ burger to food delivery you see indian. I am an international student as well and i can totally understand the situation of my community student and it is not just for Indians but for other international students from some other countries are also suffering because of unfair PNP draws. The thing is that only Indian came in-front to raise their voice and media is targeting Indians to leave. This is not fair at all. Quality of the Indian crowd has deteriorated since I left Canada in 2017. Educated Indian people are leaving Canada because they are struggling to make ends meet due to lack of opportunity in Tech and many other fields. Do you think that they are going to work in odd jobs? On top of that they get these for free: extremely cold weather, lower wage and crazy inflation. Its good that people are exposing Canada and only crude, uneducated and raw Indian crowd that is coming and settling here. Your politicians and education system deserve to be blamed. Your colleges and universities betrayed International students who wanted to work in their own field of choice by promising them every possible help. Unfortunately most of the students realize this only after living there for a few years. By that time your universities and colleges have already gulped the money paid by the international students. They don't care if you die on streets or remain homeless or go back to your own country. STOP COMPLAINING.

im a huge advocate of diversity but this is just too much ... it doesnt goes with every Indian here, im Indian too but I try to adopt the culture and not make any mess around. But surely, people immigrated from Punjab or Haryana are real piece of work, they dont wanna follow any kind of rules and regulations here. The worst part of this mass student fraud immigration scam is that it is essentially creating a class of indentured servants in Canada. Where i live, wealthy indians buy a franchise, they then get permits for foreign workers in india, who they CHARGE under the table of to 40k (their families life savings) for the permit to come work in their franchise. They also rent to for or 5 of them ONE ROOM to share, rent being deducted from their pay. They are then exploited and told if they complain they will be deported with no money and shame their families back home...its messed up and it's 100% happening in every canadian city. If you notice the indian worker at the fast food joint isnt too happy, it may be because they are a literal slave. Very progressive!

Barring a few the only Indians that would be accepted through Canadian immigration are the skilled professionals. I’m a little late to this video but have a lot to say. As a Canadian of Indian descent, I have always avoided Brampton. There is a stark difference between Indians from Brampton and those of us that are from other cities. This situation is out of control mainly due to JT but also colleges that have setup feeder international schools that cater just to Indian students. I’d imagine Chinese students have something similar to this as well, they’re just more quiet. \n\nA lot of the comments come off as offensive but it is what it is, There are too many of my ethnic people here and they’re not assimilating let alone intending to do so. Chain migration is another problem as it brings in an older generation that has no desire to learn English. Crime is having a runaway effect because of the environment they come from, fights break out at intersections, parking lots, backyards, front yards, etc. This is reckless and embarrassing for all Indians, especially us Punjabis. This goes unreported because of how vindictive these people are because of whichever town/city they came from. There are also rumours that these female students are home wreckers so there’s another layer. \n\nMy solution: \n1) Stop immigration, these people are giving our entire community a bad rep when we’ve worked so hard to get to where we are in this country. Return to skills based immigration, not WEF-based. \n2) Cap the international student populations tied to the census - this opens up opportunities for international students from ALL countries and walks of life. \n3) International students cannot be allowed to work - Canadian students First, Canada First. \n4) After graduation, give students 1 year to find a job in their field of study. If they can’t find one, send them back and learn skills and then that’s their only back to Canada. \n5) if they do make it to immigration, we need a better system than just a simple memorization test - have them demonstrate their command of the English language, look at their value added and potential for the future. \n6) Conservatives need to be a part of the solution. A lot of the comments are just complaints and complaining will get these folks voting red vs voting blue each and every time. That guy commenting about no temples in Timmins will just push these people to the liberals and this is what JT is counting on. We need to show these folks what being Canadian is about so that they leave Brampton and assimilate. I’ve introduced countless folks to Pierre and have changed their outlooks, y’all need to do the same. Im an immigrant myself, been in Canada for almost 20 years now..and the situation is out of control. I travel quite frequently for work and every time I land at Pearson I see hundreds of Indians in the immigration office lining up….90% of the immigrants population in the recent years comes from India…it needs to be proportional, balanced but most importantly controlled!!

We have the same problem. I actually like the people, but….somehow, immigrants have managed to have been able to acquire the vast majority of retail jobs in our area. How is that possible? There are businesses and fast food chains with not one white person working as an employee. I spoke to a former worker that was at one of these businesses for years and asker her WTF happened? She told me that the company hired a new manager from India, within 6 months, half the staff were Indian, local students were not being hired for part time jobs, only Indians, by the end of the year, every single employee was Indian. \nShe along with other quit their jobs because….not because they’re racist, but because not only were they being treated differently than the now majority brown workers, but they were being made to feel excluded because…the manager and the new staff all spoke a different language, they would all work together in a group not speaking English at all, saying things and laughing making it pretty obvious that they were making fun of the white employees. The “manager” would ignore the white staff’s complaints and he would then seemingly punish them by giving them less hours, change their duties and give “the good shifts” to the new brown people to the point where the white people were made to feel alienated as well as cutting back their hours leaving them with not enough hours to make a living. “This is Canada Mother Fecker” these people need to speak our language when they’re in public or at the workplace with “Canadians” or…employers should fire them. I will note, that the A&W that this happened at, has changed not only by every single employee being brown, but the service is not near as friendly, they all speak to each other in a different language behind the counter.. the seating area is not even close to being clean, the tables usually are left with trays and garbage that aren’t being cleaned as customer leave. It so bad sometimes that I literally have to pick a dirty table and remove the garbage myself because every available table has not been cleaned….and the bathrooms …. I don’t even want to talk about it they’re so disgusting. And when you complain….they turn to other employees and speak a different language… so we have no idea about WTF they are actually doing or saying about the issue. “ Thank you Sir, we will take care of that.” And the next day…it was the same. I’ve stopped going there along with everyone that I know…our work crew along with our families can no longer support such a dirty, rude and disrespectful business.

I have a relative in Ontario Canada working at a Food Basics. He told me that so many Indians that are international students are applying there every single day. And he has seen large stacks of resumes that is two feet high in the main office where he works. These international students believe that they can make a living from low skilled jobs and make ends meet in Canada. Hardly any of these international students will actually graduate from their respective Universities or colleges because they would rather work and take work from Canadians who are actually willing to apply and work at these jobs.\nThe Food Basics that my relative works at has a bit over 40 employees. 30 of them are Indian and the rest are local Canadians. And just you know a lot of these Indian workers that work there are low skilled, can't speak English, can't communicate right with the customers and their fellow workers, and have a sense of entitlement.

The indian immigration is worst and crossing there limits. I have married a hindu girl from Bangladesh . Because some issue the registration process is still pending. And the Indian immigration always threatens my wife why she coming frequently in india. She is coming legally via tourist visa and i have not done any illegal process. Lived in same Canadian province my whole life, here’s a solution to immigrants complaining go home to your country. Canada has been ruined by immigration but to be more specific Indians, they are everywhere, in PEI every single service industry job has been taken over by them and so a stigma is created working in fast food, gas stations, ect. No other race works there but Indians, it’s easy to spot an Indian on the road too, if not a massive dumb Punjabi sticker on their door just look at the license plate, you will see their surname every time. It’s a joke. It’s worse when you go to the gym and are surrounded by 80% Indians as some smell Soooo bad. So please, just go home. As an Indian who moved to study in Canada 5 years ago, It's the best decision I've made in my life. I work in tech and the money I make in a year in Canada, is what I'd make in 10 years in India. I save around 20-25 lakhs every year even after living my best life. Not sure what these news channels are on about.
