And it’s highly offensive to me that these assholes feel entitled to my tax dollars.

Dont put Tariffs on the USA as they are passed onto the end user/consumer which are the American people. Put the prices up on your sale of electricity, oil and gas 25% that the US government buys, so it hits them first and they will think twice. ..... Trump never mentioned cost of living in his acceptance speech which had us wondering. This is why.

I must say even though he's had his flaws while in government, this speech was great! Right to the point, talking to Americans, the Donald and Canadian's. Stating the facts, what they have done as asked, and how Donald is trying to ruin the country with an illegal attack of unjustified tariffs.

As an American I support you Canada, Captain Chaos is a Putin loving narcissist that probably cheated to win election, and did not win popular vote, only electral vote at best. The orange clown still does not understand how Tariffs work. It is evident he thinks it's a tax and when he sees the numbers in terms of government revenue accredited to tariffs, he ignorantly believes the country is making money. His understanding so simple he thinks he has raised GDP and is making America great again when in fact he is single handedly and in the face of universal opposition destroying the economy and causing grievous hardship to millions of Americans. Apparent friend to our worst enemies and himself the biggest enemy of the people.

Putin works for the Russian mob and Donald J Trump works for a dictator named Putin who wants to bring America to it's knees now this is a major problem. Donald J Trump has got to go immediately, forcefully and aggressively the individuals that work for the government that we will never know or hear of but make sure that Americans are safe from foreign and domestic terrorist so we may have a peace of mind while we sleep have a job to do godspeed to you.

As an American with Canadian ancestors I am so ashamed of what my government is doing. I wish I could go back to my roots. Canada and Mexico as well are us, North Americans. We should be negotiating any disagreements we have as adults. Oh yeah I didn't vote for Trump. I mean do I look nuts?

Canadian here, I just feel really bad for the normal Americans who didn't vote for this orange clown who seems hellbent on making their lives miserable. We don't hold it against you, and this is a war with your government, not the people. My grandpa fought side by side with Americans in WW2, and gave his life to stop fascist idiots like Trump. History can't, and won't repeat itself. Not all Americans are with Trump or Putin. Many of us stand with Mexico, Canada, and Europe. Americans love their country, but many Americans are hurting and suffering and feel let down by our government. It's a circus now. We are sick and tired of the high cost of taxes, food, gas, housing, and now these tariff's that are only going to hurt Americans more.

With tariffs being an import tax set up to deter local business from buying outside the country, then why put tariffs on american goods save for the 25% that goes directly to the Canadian government ? When we could keep prices down for our businesses and imports, it just seens to bump prices up for the microcosm of businesses and puts money in the hands of our federal government, but directly takes money out of contractors,businesses and so on....\nIf there are no contracts for instance with energy flowing to NY, why not bump the price 5% or 10 % ....

From Portugal, I am with Canada and all the countries and peoples who were victims of Trump. \nI never thought I would see a North American President ally with his traditional enemies and create enmity with his traditional friends and allies... all this in one month of government. But she FAILED to mention that Canada has vowed to be there and make amends for its citizens unlike America whose government has hung its citizens out to dry. CNN also failed to mention ton that Trump signed the current trade agreement when he was president for his first term. I am an American, I’ve spent time in Canada and the people and land are incredible. I support Canada and democracy, Canadians are not alone in the anger towards the US government even in a red state.
