As a Canadian Ive disliked Justin for many things hes done to our country, but 100% salute him for this speech he has done today, its heartbreaking to see this trade war happening between our closest neighnours

As a Canadian I’m fed up seeing Turdo’s face. He ruined our country and I’m hoping my fellow citizens will not take the bait of a new face on the same old party and re-elect the Liberals. If that happens we are utterly done.

Thank you Minister Trudeau for speaking clearly with facts all the great work that Canada is doing and has done it for the well-being of all.Most importantly how peacefully Canada's government has worked with the US as an ally and on a smart way.Unfortunately Trump is destroying that peaceful relationship with Canada applying those ridiculous and absurd tariffs just for money because Trump is so greedy.This is a shame that affects both Canadians and Americans.I feel bad for our children growing up in this tense situation.

Maybe building a Boarder Wall on America's Northern Boarder would be a good idea. Canada is responsible to guard our boarders and allow in only those who we feel qualify. Canada does not close it's boarders to those who wish to leave, nor does the United States close it's boarders to those who wish to leave. The United States is free to put up a wall and a boarder crossing anywhere you wish, stop whoever you want to stop from entering your country. I can tell you that The fastest Boarder Wall that I have ever seen go up is the one that Trump just raised between the United States and Canada, the Tariff Wall. What you have done is put signs on our shelves, buy Canadian. You have taken American Product from the top shelf, to the verry bottom shelf, behind the Made in China. You have closed the Travel Agencies to United States travel, nobody wants to go to your country, and I heard that there is going to be a 250% Tariff on hotel accommodations for Americans visiting Canada. It is not only about the Tariffs on Canada, who Used to be your friends, it is about your new friend Russia, who support Terrorist organizations all over the world, including the ones in Gaza who held Americans Hostage, who supports IRAN who supports Russia in murdering and raping women, kidnapping children in Ukraine, torturing and murdering citizens with their hands tied behind their backs. If this is what America supports, if this is what America does to its Ally's, I hope the taps for the oil and the switch for the electricity are turned off, and we never have to worry about each other ever again.\n\nCanada is a country with an Area roughly the size of the United States, with a population 340 Million is 8 1/2 times larger than Canada at $40 Million, with a GDP 9 1/2 times larger than Canada. If my neighbors in Canada had done what was right and stopped the flow of fentanyl from coming into Canada and flowing into my country, little Justin wouldn’t be crying right now in front of a camera. As a Canadian, I may not have agreed with everything Trudeau has done in the past 9 years. However he’s handled this American threat with class and dignity and I’m proud of our response. American/Canadian relations will never be the same. After all of this is over, there is a lot of apologies and healing that has to happen before we can even start thinking about rebuilding this relationship.

Canada has done nothing but put out propaganda. Canada is a Liberal country that interferes with our elections. As a Canadian, even though I have disagreements with our Prime Minister, he is OUR Prime Minister, and I am glad he is so clearly and strongly saying to the US government and US citizens that we are done playing around. We will pull together, as a country, and come out of this stronger. We are willing to take on short-temp pain to work towards finding new markets and diversifying our trade relationships. The Canadian economy is in a stronger position to survive and recover from a trade war than the US. The US Government in general has destroyed one of the most successful and positive economic and social partnerships in the world and neither Canadians, nor the rest of the world are going to forgive and forget.
