This is absolutely racial discrimination. There are many Chinese, Jewish and Japanese communities in the world. You completely ignore these communities.

No different than the Somalia in Minnesota. They take and take and give NOTHING back to help their communities. I wish I. C. E. would target them even more than the Mexicans. At least Mexicans contribute to their communities.

About time he did this. Indian immigration is about 150k here and those are the documented ones real numbers higher. Same as US! With 10 times less people and cities. My hometown Surrey is full of gangs. They control many industries here and community things like soccer clubs

A country that is slave to American talking about invasion bro your country's people exterminated the native people and built a nation on blood and theft. Before commenting on other communities , reflect on that genocide, you people did .

I don't see an invasion but a small town that has a lot of Punjabi migrants that are fleeing the persecution and discrimination but bring money and skills not driving skills and the majority do not want to go to US except that have family there. But the county could issue stricter rules for drivers. The town was less hectic before but having economic uncertainty. The punjabis are not known to be criminals nor lazy people not wanting to live with handy overs from the government. They are family, community and business oriented. Many other punjabis in Central Canada since long a go. They prefer Canada to US most of the times.

Indians are the only Net Positive immigrant community in the world.. Indians are 1% of the U.S. but they pay over 10% of the taxes paid to the IRS..

I worked with the liberals in 2017 and this was orchestrated. Trudeau plan 400 was the name of it and he claimed it was to build relationships with india and Pakistan for free trade. That was a lie.......
Trudeau's libs were financially strapped when ndp and conservatives dominated the previous election.
Trudeau got funding in the hundreds of millions by Indian investors in return the liberals configured the laws so these investors could make payday off all the Indians. Fake schools were huge, and trapped these indians into ridiculous housing arrangements.
Then the liberals went too far by creating ridiculous visas for indiand for them to enter Canada like the nanny Visa called something else but they can take care of their own healthy family just to enter the country. Student visas allowed to work which turns into full time employment at liberal party hotspots like tim hortons and Amazon. They hire only Indians because the government pays half there salary
Racism is extremely high and many communities have boycotted indian run establishments like in mine 2 groups went out of biz.
It's a mess but Indians will slowly deteriorate. Will take time.

It’s worth noting j*ws & Indians are good at one thing, to keep you distracted from the real issues. Both have created a tight-knit networks form, leading to hiring that favors people from the same community rather than merit this gives them huge benefits

I did two work trips near Toronto, in a community predominately Indian and Punjab, and both times I worked with the same two Indian local contractors. The second time I came back unannounced, which lapsed by like 6 months, they somehow remembered my name 😅 They weren't the brightest but I absolutely appreciate the respect they showed me, especially when they kept calling me Mr. FirstName.

Same thing happening in Surrey on the west coast. We are having a growing problem of extortion related shootings from this same community.

It is incredible how some people overlook the fact that the Indian community is a pillar of the Canadian economy. If this community stopped working for just 24 hours, Canada would literally stall. Indian students alone contribute over $22 billion annually to the economy, effectively subsidizing the entire Canadian higher education system. In the healthcare sector, immigrants make up nearly 37% of physicians and 43% of pharmacists, with a massive percentage coming from the Indian diaspora. They are the ones keeping the clinics and pharmacies open for everyone.
The impact stretches into every part of daily life, as over 56% of transport companies and 53% of restaurants are immigrant-run. Without them, grocery shelves would be empty and the supply chain would collapse. Furthermore, nearly half of the tech and software design sector is powered by the immigrant community. Beyond labor, some of the wealthiest people and biggest job creators in Canada are of Indian origin, such as David Cheriton and Prem Watsa, who have invested billions into the country. The Indian community isn't just visiting Canada; they are building, funding, and healing it every single day.
|
| 2026-01-27 | 0 |
Isolated cases of unlicensed driving shouldn't overshadow the facts: South Asians make up nearly 1 in 4 truckers across Canada. This community isn't just 'participating' in the sector—they are running it and keeping the country’s shelves stocked

Here is a aggressively neutral take as a Canadian elementary school teacher in an area with an extremely high Indian population (around half our school is ethnically Indian). It is also my own opinion, and some opinions on the internet suck:
The good: Cultural integration IS possible (the Indian families are more into hockey than the white families where I live), tons of cross-cultural friendships, beautiful blend of cultural celebrations, top achievers are almost always second-generation immigrants, kids are growing up to love their parents' culture while also loving Canada's, many fantastic families who engage their children well and raise them very respectfully, religious temples that will feed an amazing meal to ANYBODY who walks into them (as long as you cover your hair), low rates of family trauma (drugs, abuse, divorce, etc.), families that take care of their elders
The rough: Not all families are interested in being Canadian (some families just send their kids to Indian speaking private schools, live in Indian areas, and only seem to practice Indian ways of life - what's even the point?), many Indian families retreated into their home-lives during Covid which removed their children from integration opportunities, a very small percentage of the families are absolutely TERRIBLE at parenting and treat their sons and daughters with different levels of respect, multi-family households pay a single property tax which makes the contribution per taxpayer much smaller (while social benefits are equal to anybody else), some crime such as extortion and gang activity has been imported into the country, some individuals' disregard for rules and laws (setting fireworks on Diwali in the middle of a dry, grassy field is just plain stupid), some Indian communities seem to vote blindly for their own ilk during local elections without any regard for policy or experience, LMIA immigration program has been corrupted by the nepotism of bad actors and the greed of large corporations (wages can be federally subsidized which makes it cheaper to hire immigrants than the 16 year old down the street).
Many of these families were simply making good choices for their own family, so don't blame the people themselves for this - blame the government that allowed it to fester unsustainably. I'll continue to stick up for the majority of these beautiful families though - haters be darned! Watching these kids grow up gives me some hope for humanity!

What invasion? We all came here legally with passports and valid visas. WE work jobs, help our community, isnt that canadian enough? The temples and gurudwaras of Brapmton literally offer free food and drinks to anyone and everyone, regardless of their race, sexuality, gender. We're not like the mexicans of the usa where we come here illegally.WE COME HERELEGALLY, do legal jobs, and live peacefully. Do we have our fair share of problems? Yeah, sure. But that really doesnt overcome all the good that we do not only brampton but canada as a whole. If you wanna blame anyone, blame your government for letting in so many people, not us, we are simply ppl who are seeking a better life. Im a 18 year indian canadian teenager and im sorrounded by other indian canadian teenagers as well and we're all here to do good to the country and city, we're planning on becoming lawyers engineers, doctors, etc, yet yall think that we're here to destroy the country that we ourselves keep close to our heart. this video is racist, and nothing else.

You should have also inquired about the jobs here too. The stupid liberal government also makes it harder for us Canadians to get jobs. Hell, they buy up all the affordable housing, drive up prices. Turn great communities into shitholes. I didn't even know they had those big statues hanging around the city. I don't ever venture into Brampton anymore, as I don't do service calls or work as a mechanic. I basically got told, without being told they wanted a more diverse field of technicians. Over 12 years of work trying to get my mechanics license and I'm out. Guys can't even diagnose a ground on a vehicle, yet they can get the Red Seal license cause the "translator" gave them all the answers on the test. Lots of them coming over on student visas just to drop out or not go to school completely and take up basic minimum wage jobs from the actual tax payers of our Great? nation.
The truck driving is also insane up north, past Thunder Bay. Trucks in ditches every 30-50 km's. Wheels coming off of trucks, turning around on the 2 lane highway in the middle of no where and gets the truck stuck cause they wanted to do a U-turn at 3am on blind corners. We driving our 3/4 ton work trucks have to pass our exits all the time cause they have their feet on the dash tailgating you. 90% of the ones that have come over, have made Canada a worse place to work/live.

I don’t get! Why is that the immigrant community who becomes the grand majority always comes from a background where their country is in shambles and want to implement their rules on a country and people who took them in ?! I truly don’t get it

Hey! Im a sikh that was born in canada, with my parents, grand father, great grand father also being in this beutiful country. I wanted to start of by saying a couple of things. My home was in brampton for a long time and I have personally seen the safety gone down, my family used to come back from trips with our garage open and everything would be completely fine. The long term sikhs and indians came and actually contributing positively and that can be seen with how good canada was pre 2020. Immigration too an extent was good, but mass immigration was never a good idea. In 2018-2019 the old time punjabi community was heavily against so many students coming in, so much so people that were indian had "no students" signs when renting their basements. It's sad to see people that came here running things so badly and ruining the effort and contributions made by many(I even face the consqeunces of things I have never done). Remeber don't be afraid to call out people for their bullshit, but also dont bash innocent people. Now many ppl came to canada and have done good like sikhs having the highest donors of blood, plasma, and platelets. We also giveway a lot in charity and food. A good news is Canada is cracking down on these bad people and quickly, and many good people who came are returning back home. I have seen a lot of videos online, but please remember algorithms and pushed media make things seem worse than they actually are. My message is I'm sorry for how these people are acting, my recent trip to Canada(brampton) I saw better quality service and more white folk too. Stay safe and god bless!

I live in Brampton. And all I can say is thanks for visiting and spreading the word on this problem.
I was born in Brampton, and my mother tells me about how much it's changed. Many of my friends and family friends have moved to other neighborhoods POST mosques being put up near their homes. And let's not talk about employment and foreign "students". I was lucky to get a job last summer at a family owned small business Ice Cream store right after high school. We even got a review saying we weren't diverse enough despite us being a group of White, East Asian and Black employees lol. And many people say if your not Indian and your getting your drivers test, you go out of Brampton to do the test because you'll likely get discriminated by who is running the test. It's absolutely absurd. It sounds like tin foil hat sh*t, but if you live here like me everything comes full circle. But ofc there are good ones, but they are typically the westernized ones, who have assimilated, they play or watch hockey and have developed a Canadian accent. But the majority haven't assimilated, they are likely first generation, and they do things like stuff 15+ people in one suburban home. And just small things like staring at you in public (idk why their community stares you down), they spit on sidewalks, and they use some crazy a$$ spices when they cook. The smell carries over for blocks and you know your in deep Brampton territory when your driving and that smell of spicy curry hits you and you gotta roll up them windows lol. It's a nasty smell.
This mass migration is a huge issue and needs awareness.

They’re bad drivers by birth lol…and I have had more Indian expats ask me to sign off on their court ordered community service that’s it’s not even funny! They all had DUI’s and they ALL asked me if they could pay me cash for my signing off on their hours…I work for my CHURCH! No!

Your thumbnail is racist disgusting 🤮🤮💩💩💩💩💩💩
It is being shown as if it is not Pakistani Muslims but Indian Hindus who are raping Christian girls and converting their religion. Who can be such a disgusting and vulgar person who, for the sake of attention, is portraying other communities who always have to face racism in this manner because no one is going to stop him.

I'm so glad you did this video. Racist will be the first response. Yet, as Canadians we know that our Race is the minority and young white people refuse to work. It is also very hard when every single store; walmart; Fast food is all India. Other races will not be hired, so all we see are India taking over every taxi and every single job. They can tolerate having all their family live in one house, as they buy multiple homes. These homes are left empty, until enough house are bought to take over a lane or an entire neighbourhood. They are not hostile; extremely friendly, yet not as concerned about wearing hair net or beard net or gloves when preparing food. (We are told most are friendly but to be mindful of those that wear their head wrap. (Timmins Ontario has been taken over) ... According to 2021 Census data from Statistics Canada, there were approximately 765 people of South Asian descent living in the Timmins census agglomeration. Recent estimates and community reports suggest this number has continued to grow through 2026, primarily driven by international students and economic immigration.
Population Estimates and Demographics
Indian Immigrants: As of the 2021 Census, 115 residents in Timmins were specifically listed as having India as their place of birth, a significant increase from 55 in 2016.
South Asian Population: The broader "South Asian" visible minority group—which predominantly includes people of Indian heritage—numbered 765 in 2021, representing 1.9% of the total population. This was a sharp rise from only 165 people in 2016.
International Students: A significant portion of the Indian community consists of students at Northern College. Reports indicate that since 2017, the college has enrolled nearly 2,000 international students, with approximately 96% originating from India.
Recent Growth Trends (2022–2026)
While the official 2026 Census data is not yet available, current local indicators point to a sustained increase in the Indian community:
Rebounding Population: Mayor Michelle Boileau noted in 2024 that Timmins' population has reached its highest levels in over a decade due to immigration and industry opportunities.
Newcomers: Since 2021, over 700 newcomers have arrived in Timmins through programs like the Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot (RNIP).
Cultural Infrastructure: The growth of the community led to the establishment of the city's first Sikh temple to serve the expanding Sikh and Indian resident base.
Note that "North American Indian" refers specifically to Indigenous First Nations people, of which there were approximately 2,640 in Timmins as of 2021. This is distinct from the population of people with origins in the country of India.

3:12 THIS IS THE TRUTH. The older immigrants that helped build their communities alongside the Canadian people, were willing to assimilate, to learn, to be APART of the community, this is NO LONGER THE CASE, and hasn't been the last 8 years. Back in the day our family would stop and give lifts to pedestrians who were elderly, carrying heavy items, or it was too cold, hot, whatever it was, my parents learned this when they immigrated to Canada and assimilated within their communities, and worked hard to be able to communicate the common initiative of prosperity. If you're able to come to a new country, be able to live there without ever learning the heritage of the land you inhabit, it's a shame. I'm proud to be a Canadian, and even more proud of my Immigrant parents for working hard to achieve what they have today, Godbless Canada 🙏

I think RocaNews you need to be a little more thoughtful into your questioning. I'm also feeling like it's a little lazy to do this research and not include certain data points with it. Or to actually create processes/opportunities to get "newcomers" and "long-time residents" to speak together, a division of people that is far more complicated than the division you add to in this documentary. Think about your values and what the goal of this is. Reflect on this before you just go do the same elsewhere. Look at the comments. What are you adding to/contributing to relieving tension within and between communities? What is your overall purpose.

I grew up in Edmonton in a very Indian part of town. It's not "Indian people " not at All!!
Maybe mass migration is an issue, but it's not Indians. Maybe immigration scams but trust me, every Indian I lived with was civically minded. Blame the scams ...not the people! That's the federal governments fault!!
Indian people have lived here for decades and in the UK. Unfortunately the scams have hurt the community!!
(Even listen to the people in the interviews. Some of the best people I've met, and they ARE part of my community. I do worry about the scams but that's it)
|

I live in a similar area in the UK. Many people can't see how communities are being destroyed. I feel for Canada. I visited Quebec and prefer there as the French language stops this from happening there!

As a indian my self i found saying "proud canadian " from a indian is really weird cringy they are not even inviting you and all of they just tryn hard to associate with them either make india better or live here there is no need to move out
HIndus are already started birthcontrols
being aware is just all we need thats it
i think whites or native people are right because no one likes sudden changes !!
I am also capable of moving out but i will not i think i can do something better here i can make my community better .
Indians also have this some kind of invisible competetion between there extended fam. or neighbourhood which is the one of the shittiest reason of indian leaving india they think washing dishes is better then a business or farmer here .
I know we have multiple problems but leaving them would not give any solution to them ,we are actually growing it takes time to be like any europian country but im sure we should not have to like them we can be better in our own we are not in a race of living better all we have to do is making our living standards better
Rule No 1
Never make more than 2 children
Dont do something uncivilied thing in front of them
We are really good in cleaning our houses but focus on streets too( ofc this is not for all many of us are actually doing this)
Dont give shit about politics too much your control should be in your hands
Practice religion very well , Dont cutt off from roots
Dont beileve in pathetic rituals Rivers are water sources respecting them means keep them clean as possible thats all
Work on esthetics of your streets
try to make your house lil similar to all
and dont think of job either you can make jobs
THATS ALL.
In this case like if we say we dont want to tolerate illegal bangladeshis same as they NO nation wants too much people from a particular country it obviously feels like invaded
Anyhow To all white people reading this May be you can found us problematic in some way but most indian are really sweet and kind by heart .
|
| 2026-01-01 | 0 |
It's weird when people move to Canada and have no interest in integrating whatsoever. Like.. we aren't asking you to leave behind your culture or religion.. just follow our social norms and be an active member of our society. Don't just cluster in your own community.

time to stop listening to the apoligists for mass immigrtion, and start listening to the people of Canada. Neo-liberal mass immigration policies have exploited Canadians support for immigration to implement such a broken, destructive immigration policy that Canadians support for immigration was exhausted and then inverted. This is entirely the fault of the mass immigration zealots who prioritized vast numbers over every rational consideration like housing capacity, healthcare capacity, community safety, and social cohesion, These policies have turned Canada from a society highly supportive of immigration into a society outraged by the utter failure of government to vett immigrants, remove criminals or plan to provide services that correlate with the number of immigrants.

It would be really nice to see them round up in Surrey BC and Brampton Ontario these communities that are infested with drug dealing and extortion of their middle class families back home. But really FOR fast track Healthcare professionals/doctors into this country. Canada as a country also has to start having more children I do not know how they solve the problem but our population is aging and if we don't want to end up like Japan we have to do something about it. I see a lot of hate here in the comments (The racist and rednecks have permission to be openly racist)but this is a complex issue and don't forget Albert Einstein and Elon Musk were immigrants there is a lot of very talented people that we have to make sure we keep. How many jobs has Elon Musk created? he is not perfect I'm sure in the millions!!!! How much tax has he generated for the country?

15:58 Yeah should be happy its Indians honestly. And I cant fualt that community for not having homless, they probably take care of their own. But is at fualt for this, is the level in which the people coming sometimes do know the fruad going on through the government and seem to tihnk they are entitled. But not their fualt at the end of the day.. And the only thing I would be angry about is, one if I was already living there and there wasnt some vote to let it happen. And in that case, if there was, then its really on the community for not saying no. But no, the trouble is when we hear and they pay no taxes, but this 3 times disabled dude whos worked 20 years already and paid, doesnt get any help. Yeah, thats appearantly here in America and Canada. Is their a reason our governments cannot do this proper and with class?

Beautiful thing about we Hindus or Sikhs is that we don't enforce our culture to anyone.
If it was Islam, Brampton would have become a no go zone or a mini Islamic country.
You might ask me, why don't they assimilate with locals?
Well, we are culturally different and our skin colours are different. Assimilation at large scale requires common ground.
In work places, people assimilate but Race Mixing at large scale is also not good for the society.
It's very sad to see white people being homeless, Build a community of your own, look after one another. To be honest, you guys have destroyed your family structure in the name of individualism, feminism etc...

Lot of people....the original citizens feel the burn since the world around them is changing. It's natural that they harbor these ill feelings. Most of them are ill informed and have these racist views. It's true for every immigrant community that emigrated from Europe as well. You have Irish immigrant towns, little Italy's, China towns, little India's, polish neighborhoods in Chicago etc ...these kind of neighborhoods are all over north America (USA & Canada). This is natural. Assimilation happens in 1 or 2 generations. Economic expansion and fulfilling social security benefits for the older generation needs population growth and a new younger workforce. This is achieved thru immigration of skilled labor force of all kinds. Population dynamics and demographics keep changing all the time and it has happened thru out human history. Now we are living in an interconnected and inter dependent world. It's better to adapt to change and move on and retain your loyalty to the country they migrated to and contribute positively to their economy and try to assimilate as much as possible and be aware of the sensitivities. This new immigration is from Asia and they are of different ethnicities and cultural background unlike european immigration that happened earlier. So some backlash to these new people's is to be expected and there will be lot of scapegoating and stereotypical epithets that will employed to demonize the new immigrant groups. We all have to adjust assimilate and move on in this great circle of life.

I felt for them Canadians, especially seeing that 19th century church being converted into a Caste-Hindu temple, no bad opinion about sikhs.. they r friendly people tortured by Caste-Hindus back in the 80's in india which lead to their mass migration for safety and Canadians helped them. Sikhs must responsibly protect Canadian values and their own community from Caste-Hindu menace especially because they openly support Imbeciles like Trump and Modi.

For Canadians:- Improve your immigration policy, how the heck are you allowing so many people in a short amount of time? And what's that college scam, Some people from your country make fake Universities, contact people from abroad and make them come in Canada, then they take their money as fees and then flash! No such college existed. And foreign people are trapped there. Also, hire qualified people with degrees like the USA does. Indians are living in USA too, but it's not such a big problem in USA BCOS of their policies. Not everyone is wrong, but make sure to punish the wrong one's. Imply tough rules on cleanliness and job hirings. Instead of banning people from these countries, imply strict regulations on them.
For indians or any other communitee:- Shame on you guys, no one is saying you to leave your culture or something. It's just that be like a Canadian, give jobs to other communities too. Maintain cleanliness standards of Canada, not india or any country. Follow canadian driving rules rather then any other countries. You should be grateful for them to accept you, now you should accept them too.
Thankyou.

The problem is not the immigrants. The problem is with Canadian leaders, and the Canadians who elected and reelected them to office. I lived in Nova Scotia for just over 2 decades. I attempted to have many discussions about these issues and was shocked by the generally vapid responses I'd get. Much more to say, but the main point is that Canadians have destroyed their own country's quality of life and from what I can see, Canada is not worthy of respect as a nation. I take ZERO pleasure in saying this. However, the country should have provided the United States with a up close example of what a well run social democratic nation looks like. Instead, Canada is a joke to the far right and in fact fuels the far right in the US. Now with the global south amassing on the US's northern border (visit Halifax, NS if you have any questions about this), I view Canada as a threat to the USA - which is a nation with more than enough problems.
A note to immigrants reading this: I respect many of you individually, and I do not in the least mind having you in my community. You as an individual are not the problem per se. The problem is that policy makers are simply using migrants to increase Canada's population to 100M by end of century. Google "Canadian House of Commons Century Initiative" to see how Canadian lawmakers voted in support of this policy.
Best,
Patrick Moan
