I spent a couple yrs downtown Toronto when I was in my older teen years and that was before the open drug issue and even back then it was bad u had to watch out for being robbed or r@p*d it was so bad back then I ended up going back home and choose jail over the streets. Got my shit over and done with and since then life has been good changed my life 360 and have a loving family 2 sons and now I’m up living in Algonquin (beautiful area)

Stay out of this place its trash. Unless you are a millionaire you will be poor no matter what. And if u are a millionaire you wont be for long. The taxes are crazy, the cost of living is crazy. You will never own a home unless you are very very rich, the weather is horrible, if thats not enough for you all the above problems are getting worst by the day. Im an engineer making 130-140k a year and couldnt afford a house in even the cheaper cities such as halifax... toronto or vancouver? Forget about it. I forgot to mention the healthcare, people are dying in waiting rooms and from cancers that could be treated if detected early, but they are often stage 4 before even being diagnosed. Very sad but very common

But it's even worse than people realize. They neglect to mention that female students at places like U of T turn to prostitution to survive. Not just a few, a significant percentage! There are entire websites devoted to students looking to prostitute themselves to pay rent and tuition! Wake up people! Let me say it, u didn't do ur research before moving abroad, abroad life is not for lazy ppl who don't want to work on their own. Didn't u know how was the life abroad wen u have ur relatives there. And the positions u r saying are voluntary for parents, it's not a job,it's called lunch duty. You didn't try to find how life, society is there. As an Internation student from Hong Kong, I'm glad I only have to pay 5x the local tuition rate at Western U, instead of 10x at UoT... and yeah I can confirm that Western's conditional offer for my enrollment was to attend a HK pre-university exam. Just attendence, not even requiring a passing grade.

Thank god I moved to US right after graduating and paid off my loans with a new grad signing bonus. I now out earn anyone in Canada, doctors, surgeons, director of trading at TD, lawyers as well as having an top school district new construction SFH in NY (for way cheaper than Toronto even adjusted for currency), on my way to get a GC, and over a million in net worth. My cars and houses are cheaper, my flights are cheaper, my taxes are lower, my career is better, my investments do better. In Canada I'd be comparatively F-U-C-K-E-D. my condolences to all millennials that stayed in Canada.

I am north east Asain/Canadian and i have moved out of Canada few years ago, actually lots of friends of mine also move back to their original countries for better working opportunities, basically there isn't much good opportunity in B.C. people from highly developed Asian countries like Japan, S.Korea, Taiwan, even China has a higher tendency to leave Canada, the future is in Asia, tons of much better opportunities than Canada. Also after i have travelled many countries i realize if ur rich there r lots of other countries that u can live way better than Canada, the house, food, tax is much more affordable and local ppl r super friendly. Beside the housing price in Vancouver is absolutely insane.?

Hai..i think all of your worries will easily disappear if u come n move to Malaysia??.. first of all we don't have winter season as u wanted.. secondly we are multi culture country with many races n ethnique people lives together like malay+Chinese+indian etc lives in harmony n respect of each other beliefs n background..Malaysian are friendly people n humble..also the easiest country to access halal food everywhere because 60% or more of the population is Muslim..so u can also practice Islamic education here .. n importantly even though we are multi cultures we still can practice our religion peacefully n respectfully..in fact we had our mosques, temple n churches besides each other..n when comes to celebrate holidays, we celebrate Ramadan, Eid, Christmas,thaipusam, deepavali or other celebration together respectfully regardless of our races.. Malaysia also a tropical country so u can enjoy modern city n nature together just in one country.. n lastly I think economically u guys can afford to living or retired here considering dollar are more higher than ringgit Malaysia..so financially I think its everything affordable here ..

Every parent knows what is best for their children and families. I live in Pakistan 2. Me and my brother were born in US to Pakistani parents. My mom didn't want to leave US but my dad said there is no religious environment there plus our whole family lives in Pakistan and didn't want us to grow there. Our apartment owner who was Christian was not letting us go. He said that u guys r such an amazing people, good Muslims, nice to everyone and take Care for everyone. It was really hard for both of my parents but Allah made it easy for us. My mom passed away when I was 18 and my brother 15 and I really miss her. My option is u can guys move to Pakistan. U can get Islamic education + Islamic environment. No matter how bad our politics, government doesn't care about Its own country and no cleanliness but I still love Pakistan. I really respect you guys for making such a hardest decision with strength. I really support you guys with this decision. Just don't mind I was just giving an advice that Pakistan is way better but it is totally up to u guys which country u like to make your better life. But where ever u guys go, u are all always in my prayers even our brothers and sisters in Gaza. I only left at 51 and wished I'd hv started 3 decades earlier ? Hv been on the road for 9 yrs, covered more than 30 countries where I get to work & enjoying literary every corner of the beautiful planet instead of paying up to my nose for nothing in Vancouver, tho I used to love my city to the moon... not to mention months of wet & miserable winter & how cold & edgy people are these days and don't even talk to me about the evil woke culture where our PM along with all the elites are secretly trying to imprison all Canadians where these blood suckers will drain u high & dry whereby they live in cloud nine themselves! Since moving away I've decided to live only a few months in each country I visit but in spite of moving around once every few months yet I managed to save 2-3x more in comparison to when I was working just to pay all the bills where I could never earn enough to own a home in Vancouver, ever! I still hope for massive turn around for the country I love yet I'll encourage anyone to get out of your comfort zone and u shall be surprised by all the experiences money can never buy u!
