Trump is the best thing that could have happened to Trudeau. Finally a politician Canadians hate more than him.

As a U.S. Army veteran who proudly served this country, my love for America and unwavering respect for the Constitution drive me to speak out. What Trump did in that meeting with Zelensky wasn’t strength, it was weakness disguised as tough talk. Pressuring Ukraine to negotiate from a position of desperation only empowers Russia and signals to the world that U.S. commitments mean nothing.\n\nTrue leadership isn’t about catering to dictators or throwing allies under the bus. It’s about standing firm for democracy, national security, and the principles this country was built on. If we let billionaires and politicians treat global conflicts like a business deal, we’re betraying everything generations of Americans fought and died for. I won’t stay silent while our country’s integrity is sold off for personal gain. America deserves better.

Saying this for years. North border must be protected from illegal immigrants crossing over the North border into USA. THEY are criminals and demand get all free stuff from USA tax payers. Buslines. Im Canadian and while the tariffs are gonna suck, I completely understand why Trump is doing it. The only ones who can fix this is America itself.

The trouble with political commentators is they try to think like a politician? Trump is not a politician! So think like a businessperson, its the deal and what is the best deal for the USA. Plus the Trump administration is transporting illegals back to their country of origin rather than to the last country that harbored them! And the common theme is, the people suffer for what?

I was just reviewing speeches made by various politicians and presidents at funerals in the U.S. I was thinking that no one could speak at Trumps funeral so it should be a short one when the day comes.

Isolationism in the modern world doesn’t work, it’s an obsolete philosophy. Im mexican, and all this makes me sad, cause president Trump make American citizens to believe we are all criminals, bad people, that all of us wants to go to USA. And that is not true, a lot of us are happy living in our country, work here, and be with our loved ones here in Mexico. Of course, prices will go up, but that's not the main issue here. Besides, liberals are the last group who should be complaining about rising costs! The real question is who will suffer the most. President Trump has done this before—if you recall, he did it last time, and within 30 days, Mexico secured the border. She's playing politics right now, as expected, but I guarantee she'll eventually back down. The price increases you keep mentioning will impact their economy far more than ours, and she knows this. It's a negotiation tactic, and in the end, Trump will secure the border. She can't just give in or she'll appear weak. She has to play the political game, but I can guarantee they've already had discussions and are working on a deal. If you believe politicians are always transparent, you're being naive. They say one thing to the public while doing something completely different behind closed doors.

Even as an American, I fully support Sheinbaum on this. She shouldn't take this mess from Trump, who doesn't truly know the effects of these proposed tariffs. An American politician trying to play hardball with Canada and Mexico is some nasty work.
