The majority of Canadians no longer trust Trudeau or his liberal cronies. He has prorouged our government to tie our hands behind our backs. Do you people understand what that means? As one of MANY millions who voted for Kamala, we join Canadians in the fight against these ridiculous tariffs that Trump initiated. We're ashamed of him. This Trudeau speech is very very honorable and articulate and resolute.

Well spoken Mr Trudeau. I am proud to be Canadian. I feel sad for both countries. Can't believe that no judge is declaring the National Security argument as unjustified. I thought this was not possible to impose this without voting it properly if national security is not a real threat under the US constitution... And the argument of trade deficit is such a weird concept. Would Trump agenda be more evil here, and use economic force to force Canada to annex them because they want our resources?

The significance that PM Trudeau addressed him as Donald go over so many heads. It is greatly appreciated that the PM also acknowledged that Americans will be hurt by this as well, especially those of us who didn’t vote for Trump.

I voted for the Liberals in 2015 before I really knew what I believed in. I later voted for the NDP. Trudeau lost my support but lately he’s been incredibly bold and admirable. He makes me proud to be a Canadian.
