I hope your men have mastered your new German tanks PM Trudeau. I am against any war Drumpf could think of. We need to go to Ukraine and talk to Putin tank to tank. Putin is a tiresome little man. As a businessman, Trump was using Fentanyl crisis as a lame excuse. No matter how much fentanyl is controlled across borders he was still guaranteed in imposing the 25% trade tariff. \nCanada govt invested so much into the border security recently and visited multiple times in Washington to discuss this 25% trade tariff but all of them forgot that Trump is a very aggressive and stubborn when it comes to money!\n\nI am glad Trump has made Canada and even Trudeau bold and self dependent now!

There's many reasons not to like Trudeau up here in Canada, many of which are the reason he'll (rightfully) no longer be the PM next week. As a conservative I hated him for SNC-Lavalin (among other scandals), and the fact that his inexperience with the economy Harper left him is probably part of why this trade war is going to hurt more than it could have, and the fact that he's often been kind of a phony more concerned with looking and sounding good for the press cameras. Not this time. Nothing phony here; I've got to give credit to him for capturing the national mood pretty much perfectly with this speech. Too little too late Trudeau! Why is Canada still short 2,000 border guards? Why are no railway containers still not checked? Why is still only 1% of shipping containers checked? I appreciate the approach from PM Trudeau and can feel his regret for having to do this. As americans we have to fight against our own leaders meanwhile their job description is to be in service of their constituents. How hard is it to make sure everyone has enough and no one too much or too little?

Canada and America should work together. Trudeau is the only one talking about a trade war. Think about that... Trump imposed reciprocal tariffs on many countries who later came to the Whitehouse and invested billions to bring business here. Canada has enjoyed the American gravy train for long enough. Just look at the comparison between how much money goes into Canada and how much of that America actually sees a return on.

Canada has been the preferred access point for criminals and terrorist for the past 4 years. I have a place right on the border and 8 months ago I caught a young East Indian who already had several felony in the states and had been shipped back to India in previous years. How the heck did that man get a student visa to come to Canada. There are 50,000 East Indian Students missing in Canada who simply used the visa to get into Canada and run the border. This is what we’re are dealing with. I live on the border and I’ve never seen this much traffic. Border guards are simply picking their targets and having to ignore others. Well, I am from America and I never heard of such a bunch of whiny babies in my life.
