This trade war is only going to bring True Americans, Canadians and Mexicans closer together in solidarity against the Trump Regime. Our shared suffering will draw us together and create a unified force against Donald Trump the likes of which no-one has yet seen arrayed against a particular regime since World War 2.

Trudeau‘s response doesn’t look anything like somebody that wants to work with us. He just turned a tariff that was aimed at creating some equality behind our trades into a trade war not Trump we will own Canada soon enough now because of Trudeau’s terrible response

Ah yes, the trade war that Canada will surely lose. I love Canada. Wouldn't trade it for the world, but this is a losing battle by which citizens on both sides will feel the full effect. Trump appeasing Putin is a chess move, that the PM seems to be overlooking. The US can't afford to go to war with Russia, but at the same time, it needs resources within Russia's neighboring region. So the US will do what they always do, and had people listened to what Kissinger had to say, they'd be better prepared for this. Nonetheless, let's stand proud and strong, and come together as Canadians in order to get through this.

So I guess it is only a trade war when the US demands reciprocal tariffs? It seems like injustice to be put on an even playing field when you have not been being held to the same standards. Canada, Mexico and most other countries have had tariffs on the goods they send to the US for decades; why all of the complaints now? Isn’t it fair that the US charge tariffs if Canada and Mexico charge tariffs? Yes, it is. What the hell is Trudeau even flapping his gums about? Perhaps all aid should be taken from Canada and Mexico for being ungrateful. You ever heard of the North American Union? It’s a thing. Look it up. Trump is NOT starting a trade war. He is equalizing the playing field. Canada was already imposing a 25% tariff on the US unfairly. Now they are charging 50% tariffs. Not fair at all!

Who convinced Trump of this? I like him but this trade war against Canada isn’t the way to go, really. I feel Canadians were mistakenly targeted. US needs allies not foes. Proud of Trudeau for the first time. I don’t live in the US but in Canada at the moment, not Canadian either, but I’m very objective in my perception about these occurrences. I hope America makes peace with Canada so strengthen both sides, hmmm.

Trade wars always comes before an actual war (happened before WW1 and America waged a trade war with Japan prior to WW2). I predict America will be invading Mexico first in a blitzkrieg and then when the US economy is in a war economy it'll try to invade Canada. Heck Trump has already stated as much when he said Canada will be the 51st state of America.

México nowdays has a efficient, knowledgeable. and honest president that wanted to have fair trade agreements with Canada and the United States ...however the US government choose to fight and blame the neighbors to the north and south by braking every single rule of the free trade among the three countries ......CHINA , CANADA AND MEXICO ....oviously will retaliate the same way and Definitely the US citizens will be the most hurt ....mexico always have been resilient from wars. trump is costing farmer their markets. The US had to shell out some 32 billion as a result of his screw ups in his first term with his trade war with China. These tariffs will finish that job especially in combination with loss of farm labor, setting down USAID which purchased over 2 billion dollars in farm products , cutting conservation programs along with other support. trump should be impeached along with that WART called vance.

Canada been mooching off the usa for decades! Maybe Canada should volunteer to drop all the tariffs they have on us if they want to be friends.
