A very informative video that sheds lot of light on the immigration issues and clears doubts about Sikh Punjabis.

Very informative video about life in Canada. I would also add that taxes (income, property and sales taxes) in Canada are very high.

I found the video very informative as an outsider, could you provide me your sources for further research?

Wrong @NitishRajput... British treated Canadian aboriginals with equal violence...heard of white washing camps? 99% Canadian land where first nations stay, has no facilities even today .these camps happened even until last decade. Please do research and create a video on that. Your video s are anyway very informative

There’s lots of false and misleading information in this video, housing shortage is due to short term rentals such as airbnbs and your local government isn’t making any changes in municipality laws

This is actually such a cesspool of misinformation. It's comical, another case of the right message with the wrong information.\n\n7% of Canadians moving to America each year LOL! The country would collapse at that rate. The entire video is skewed towards Vancouver as the entirety of Canada and does nothing to talk about interest rates. \n\nSome parts of Canada such as Calgary is extremely affordable. I just purchased a home at 26 and there is no way I could rent it out at a profit even if I wanted to, so no rent gouging is not the problem people would make you believe.

Based on the information provided in the video, I'd like to give my opinion on how to surpass these issues :\n- immigrants and students are not the issue here cuz they hugely contribute to economic growth; they are skillful, they pay taxes and they bring what they have in their homelands.\n- if the demand is high, gov should intervene in the supply side, by facilitating construction permits, giving investment facilities, excluding some products from taxation.. etc.\n- the carbon issue is a hoax, did the world abandon airlines ? No, did those who have private jets get taxed more ? I dont think so. So why tax the average people to make up for all of this ? Not so equal to me.\n- competitiveness among businesses and facilitating entrance to markets should be the priority, i dn't think that would happend cuz of lobbying.\nThese are my humble suggestions, PS: I dnt live there nd never did.

I'm born in the UK to Serbian parents, but grown up in Norway so I've seen three different cultures in my life all at once. I always liked Canada for being diverse because then I wouldn't have to switch between being English, Serbian or Norwegian, I could be more me because I am basically multicultural. For years I've idealised Canada and it wasn't until just two weeks ago that I got to visit and see for myself what Canada is like. I was in Toronto and also in Vancouver visiting a family that moved there from the UK I hadn't seen since I was a kid. I loved the nature (Especially Vancouver my god!) and the people, but I learned about how extremely expensive housing in Canada is to the point that it would be hard to make ends meet just renting a place let alone buying a house. Also how immigration is out of control and those who do come to Canada are disproportionately from one country being India rather than many different, which is not good for maintaining diversity. This is something I saw having lived most of my two weeks in Mississauga just south of the airport.\n\nI hope you guys finally get someone better in the next election, because I have more hopes for Canada than I do for the UK. Thanks for this informative video!

As bad as the situation in Canada is, this video is just full of lies. If you need one example, look at 12:39. The number is 0.7% of Canadians, not 7% LMAO.\nAgain -- yes, Trudeau is a twat, and affordability inexistent, but so much of the information here is wrong, out of context, cherry-picked, or manipulated.
|
| 2024-05-01 | 0 |
Absolutely shameful video completely lacking nuance and in some cases full of blatant misinformation. 7% of Canadians move to the US? Seriously? Your highlighted text clearly says 0.7%. Cost of living in Canada is higher than the US? Have you...actually ever been to the US? Or, looked at statistics like the CPI? Living in the US is in no way cheaper.\n\nWe have genuine issues here and they need to be talked about, with a nuanced lense. This video and your production company are clearly intent on enabling polarization for views rather than being actually informative. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

You are correct. This is not NEW information. This has been happening, but some deportee’s have not been telling the family back home really what happened, why he returned. Canada and other countries, they are aware of many things. They are in touch and watch your videos and other videos by others. They watch you and other YouTubers, so they have been ahead on many! Yes, they have been monitoring ALL over the world on VISITORS VISA. They don’t just ask questions on entry, they have been monitoring the addresses given where people claim they are staying.

Hello\n \nCan you help to publicise and aid families trapped in bonded labour in Pakistan’s brick kilns?\nI came back from India last year moved by the migrant families caught in a vicious circle of poverty and debt. Driven by extreme poverty, seasonal employment and pressing needs, men take out loans for critical expenses or daily living. But these loans come with an unimaginable price – they are bound to work at the kilns until they can repay their ever increasing debts. Generations of oppressed people live and work in Asian brick kilns, robbed of their freedom and human rights. These families are often the poorest of the poor.\nYour sponsorship or donation, however small, would help fund a video exposing this modern slavery. I would in turn use my documentary to raise funds for a variety of charities and faith groups helping Pakistani brick slaves.\nSuch absolute poverty and degradation is hard to imagine. That’s why I’m asking you to donate generously to my campaign here: https://www.launchgood.com/campaign/bricked_in_by_slavery#!/. Please click on the link for further information and Q and As.\nBest regards\nStephen Wolstenholme

Really enjoyed your video and appreciate your effort to present information in a balanced manner and to emphasize that it is after all, relative to where you came from. \n\nYou have chosen to live in the largest city in Canada which is also a main business centre. This choice emphasizes large urban centre problems and large urban centre behavioural norms. I anticipate you chose Toronto because of the greater career opportunities available to you and your husband and perhaps you enjoy large urban environments. But most of Canada is not comprised of large urban environments, quite the contrary. \n\nI grew up in the Vancouver area. As a young University graduate I was forced to move about 100 kms away to secure career oriented employment. I moved to a small rural town surrounded by farms. I soon learned to adapt my aggressive city driving to a more relaxed pace and found people surprisingly friendly compared to the urban people I was accustomed to in the city. People smiled and said hello as you passed them on a sidewalk, that did not happen in the city. So in summary, for people who enjoy small town living their experience in Canada would likely be more positive and far less expensive. For an urban dweller, I would not recommend remote areas as some services and entertainment options are just not available. But for those who love the outdoors, there are many beautiful choices in Canada.

I think this video is incredibly misleading, a ton of information is missing from this story. \nThe fact is Indians live in Brampton, no different than Chinese people living in Markham, Irish people living in Toronto or Italians living in Vaughn.\nThe Caucasians don't want to work, so they do drugs and complain about being homeless.

The video is informational and direct much appreciated, I disagree with this reason why Canadians invest in homes vs businesses, how does one prove that statistic? It is impossible to gain a correct statistical data as ones state of consciousness will never show the true reality of the data, Many Canadians want to open their own business and they have also recognized market opportunities its rather due to few cognitive barriers. Possibly the support programs to open one.

It’s unfortunate that you feel this way about our city. In saying this. There is much to be done. Mostly all the red tape at city hall. And wasted tax dollars.\n\nIn a video of a city “you love”. And all of us have our faults, I presume your intention was to inform. \n\nIn a video sponsored by Better Help. And someone who has benefited for someone helping you up. Encouraging others not to come here. Just pointing out flaws. I know you mentioned for 30 seconds that we have parks. \n\nToronto is like all of us. We’re not without our flaws. Yet, sometimes pointing out what’s great (or even just good). You can make a better point for change. \n\nYou’re not wrong. You’re definitely not right.\n\n You could have been though.\nJust like me writing this comment.

I don’t trust any word’s coming from satans mouth or his minions… All misinformation, deception to the Canadian citizens…\n\nDoes he actually know what he’s talking about or does he always spew garbage Every time he opens his mouth?\n\nMy gosh!!!! Resign already!!!\n\nGreat informative video. ??

Hi Jason.. Can you please make a video on the latest news on AIP. As news is buzzing about AIP applications not getting processed for outland applications. The applicants have been waiting for years and nothing is moving ahead after AOR. We need information on this as there are many friends sailing on the same boat. Will the wait ever end or the process itself is in the verge of closing. Your video will definitely show some light on our concerns. Looking forward for it. Best Regards.. from Qatar

Well said but most people would say that your modest and didn’t share enough harsh reality… you might want to try again and do a much longer video sharing more information with more video backed by corrupt politicians and easily agreeable down sides of ever moving to Canada. The “government “ of Canada ?? and that the petty pictures that country paints fools the world into bringing their family coiffed to Canada only to lose their money and then they are stuck… it truly is a nightmare and I think you can do a better job with this broadcast.

sorry for you guys …. but this video is totally mis informative … I have been lived in many countries not only these two countries because of my work… and lived in Australia as well and currently now working in Canada from 1 year .. and trust me I am really regretting my decision to come and work in canada this is not same canada as it was in 2012 when I first came here … Its worst place to move in 2024 … specially low economy and too many desi’s …so now going back to Australia ?? after 2 months.. before moving to any country permanently read statistics do not go as per anyone’s personal experience

Good and balanced information. Thank you. Your delivery style is also good. I wish however you didn’t obscure your face frequently (or at all) while talking with text and image. Somehow hinders the quality of the video. But the video itself is really good. It will help young people in their decision process.

Great Video ?thank you for the info. It was very informative. I was born and raised in Toronto .I do believe this could be a post covid situation of high cost living/high rents. I also think in roughly 4 years or so it should change.Example costs will go down.

I totally agree that this country will break your spine and test your ultimate willpower. Me and my wife came here 5 years back and we decided that we will shut ourselves like a tortoise. Forget about savings and forget about everything else. Only and only one goal we had in mind is that we will live in the basement and earn top dollars. Just to give you a perspective. My first pay was 19 dollar per hour and my current pay is 87 per hour. My wife started with 16.5 per hour and now earning 69 per hour. Even though our income grew substantially, we never raised our expenses. Answer to all problems in Canada is income. Now after 5 years we bought house worth of 1.4 M. We moved out of basement and felt immense pride. We paid 37% down payment and 3 banks approved our mortgages in a heartbeat. No debt at all. We paid up our car in full. Just a regular new suv nothing fancy. \nEveryone is different, we all are unique and I believe you took a right decision. Each and every word you said in the video is true. \nWe cried , we fought , we felt that our life is ruined but we both thought that ek bar to Canada ko harana hai. Itni income generate karenge ki sala CRA shock ho jaye progress dekh ke. We literally cried when we saw our YTD on Dec 31,2023. We crossed 300k and lately to be honest we got a kick in living in basement. People around us thought of us as a regular poor couple but from inside we knew that we are earning in top 3% of Canadian population. \nI would highly recommend that understand the job market of Canada. Work on your soft skills. Power on the language is MUST. It is even more important than your technical knowledge. Make meaningful connections. Stay away from negative people. Once you understand your inner strength then now body can stop you.\n\nThanks for this amazing video. Love the narration and information.

The sad truth for your reputation, is that there are more people STAYING than leaving, otherwise, our population would only increase by the number of births, minus the number of deaths every year. It is NOT. It is increasing by a LOT more. And those are EASY to find stats.\n IF you took your time to get out of your pity party and realized that you are WRONG about that fact, you might ALSO understand that choosing WHERE you live n this country is a pretty important choice. Unless you are REALLY rich, Toronto or Vancouver would be a miserable experience for anyone. If you limit yourself to the most expensive places we have to offer, you only have YOURSELF to blame for your failures here, AND you weren't going to contribute where we NEED immigrants, but where we already have too many, causing that RARITY, making prices go up. \n Have a nice flight out. But know that it could have been different if you'd taken the time it took to make that video, to INFORM yourself about the choices that might have been better for you instead.

Hello Seyi, thank you for this informative video. Please kindly want to ask what the processing time is like for tourist visa in Lagos, Nigeria? There is only one reason Canadians are leaving Canada, and it’s Trudeau.... that’s it.\n\nTrudeau and many United Nations countries are being run by an outside entity called the World Economic Forum WEF. You and about 500,000 people he has been immigrating every year over the last 8 years. He is trying to over burden our healthcare system, our housing shortage, and our job market; and also quadrupled the increase of the useless carbon tax which causes inflation on all of our housing, food, gas, and heating, and our dollar.\nTrudeau and the WEF want to crash the Canadian system so that they can move to a one world government that includes all of the United Nations Countries.....this is your answer, and this is why real Canadians are leaving the country.\nTrudeau wants to control peoples lives through digital ID, digital money, and 5 minute cities, and track everyone’s carbon footprint.... all of this leads to NO MORE FREEDOM.\n\nSo most of your video is only the impacts of these much bigger issues, and if you aren’t watching Trudeau in parliaments question period every day, then you won’t see between the lines and see his real snake like intentions.\n\nI am an Albertan who’s family that has been here 2 years before Canada became Canada, I would leave Canada but I’m waiting to see if Pierre can become our new Prime Minister and undo what Trudeau’s WEF infiltrated government has done to our country; if Trudeau gets back in; I’m waiting to see the civil war that will undoubtedly take place.\n\nThis is the real information you are looking for, now your guess work is done, now you need to figure out if you are going to stay or leave.
