It’s a shame Palki, you keep your India poor, racist, nasty and criticizing western countries for visa like a beggar?

There’s more pride and nationalism projected in this video than real facts. Why do Indians need visas? It’s very simple: Most Indians are more likely to figure out a way to stay abroad once they touchdown abroad. \n\nAmericans, Canadians, Europeans, etc, don’t need visas wherever they go because most of them always return to their countries eventually no matter where they visit and how long they’re away. \n\nCitizens who don’t need visas wherever they go hardly ever leave their own countries for another. It’s really very simple. Just look at Singapore, Switzerland, etc. How often do you see their citizens leave such countries for another? Almost never. That’s why.\n\nIt sounds like she’s trying to make an argument that this rule shouldn’t apply to Indians because India’s economy is powerful. You need to convince this fact to the Indians who are leaving India, because if you can’t even sell this point to those Indians leaving India, then you don’t even have a case.

Well india now has more than 1 billion middle class people looking to travel abroad. Lots of countries cannot handle the sheer number of indian tourists. India gets more than 70% of the usa H1B Visas so it's already getting most of the world's Visas. Maybe Indians should stay home and support states like Goa that are suffering from a lack of tourists

Forgot to mention in this video, how so many Indians are likely to abuse travel visa with the intention of permanently staying in the country they are traveling to under the guise of a tourist. Oh, so many of them creates nuisance here by not behaving properly in public. I think high visa rejection rate is pretty good to weed out bad actors.

The question that I have is why so many Indians are soooo desperate to leave India. Maybe you should focus your anger on India's corrupt political class for impoverishing India, rather than other nations for rejecting Indian visas? Other countries (like America) are struggling too, and simply can't afford to keep importing cheap labor from India :(

I mean as someone who has worked on the other side of things (as in deporting) the comprehension level of Indians at the immigration counter is appalling they would be asked one thing and all they would answer is but I have hotel bookings and return flight tickets… and this is not a language barrier as I interpret the interviews live…. I was surprised that the video didn't mention the scam involving low-skilled labor from the UAE. Many companies and brokers bring thousands of low-skilled, low-educated workers on short-term visas (as short as three months for two years of employment). These workers often end up being misled and become illegal immigrants because companies prefer to pay the fine, which is cheaper than a two-year visa. Additionally, these companies often retain the passports of the workers, preventing them from returning to their home countries even if they wish to do so. This practice severely impacts the workers and contributes to the bad reputation of the Indian passport, as statistics show an increasing number of Indian passport holders not respecting visa durations.\n\nThe UAE is home to over 3.89 million Indian expats, constituting over 37.96% of the country’s total population. Reports indicate that a significant number of these workers do not respect the time limitations of their visas, further exacerbating the issue.\n\nI do believe, as this is more likely to affect the situation than any conspiracy theories.

I just love it,,, i mean i just love it when we get a reality check,, i have been to 20 countries for studies, for work and as a toursit , i didnt face any visa rejection (maybe bcos my documents and funds were good) but boy o boy i just saw the behaviour of mostly hindi belt guys who go to Visa free countries like malaysia, bali, thailand and what horrible behaviour, they will spit around, drink pass lewid comments on foreigners and local ladies, try to bargain it was such an embarrassment, there were people chanting religious slogans near burj khalifa making reels, recently i visited georgia and some gujrati family was asking for seperate vegetarian cooked meals in an authentic georgian restaurant,, they were talking like they owned that place.\n\nI left india for studies in 2000 and came back in 2013, but during this time the indians were well behaved abroad and followed the rules,, maybe post smartphone era and the so called Godi media all have got a false feeling that we have become some vishwaguru just look at our comments on any videos on youtube instagram which are critical of us.\nThere was a news on one Lapdog Godi channel that Trump is crying infront of our PM that we help him in LA fires,, such shameless and bigoted lies will make any dimwit person think we are the greatest,\nIts high time we should start retrospecting our online as well as social behaviour.

There is no agenda, let me explain why.\nThe rejection rate is a better measure than rejection numbers or visa fees. And I'm pretty sure that India has a lower rejection rate compared to many other countries. It is the sheer volume of applications that contribute to this. Even 1% rejection on 100k Indian visas is a 1000 rejected visas. While a less populous country may have 10% rejection out of 1000 visas which is 100 rejections. So, in % terms, India fare well despite having higher rejections.\nFiring shots at Kosovo, Cuba and B Faso is a cheap shot and unnecessary to push the point of passport rank. All countries have a right to determine who they allow into their country with lower restrictions. And they are under no obligation to open the gates to anyone. It is also common knowledge that the newer cohorts of Indian immigrants to the West are a bad representation of Indian society (best example - Canada). Hence the rising anti Indian Immigration stance. Immigration is a privilege and not a right. I hope that the Indian community understands that the visa rejections are a lesson and not an insult, and that they learn from this and become better ambassadors when they go overseas.

First of all why there is craziness to visit abroad. Let western nations come and beg for indian visas. We have everything in our mother land. Ofcourse, we have our own problems like traffic and pollution,etc but every other nation has their own set of problems as well. IT is the root cause for this problem time and again. Lets create living and work conditions like in US for our kids.....they wouldn't run behind visas....

The reason is that some Indian finds it difficult to integrates.\n\n I know one Indian lady that have lived in one country for over 20 years and the lady cannot speak the language of that country. Starting to feel Palki is biased towards India than being an honest journalist. Did you even bother to check why Indian visas are getting rejected in these countries? What the rejection reasons were? \n\nAs many have already commented, I will put across a list for Palki -\n\n1. Indians are Indians even outside India, well, what good are you if you do not wish to be integrated and become part of the society? \n2. Do not like to research, and instead ask questions to save time which is bad manners.\n3. Complaining is in our blood about everything.\n4. Be respectful and be considerate of others.\n5. If you are applying for a tourist visa, be a tourist and should return when the visa expires. Get a good insurance which most of the time people are not un-aware.\n6. If you apply for student visa, be a student and do not exploit the visa or violate any rules and extend your visa stay.\n7. If you are hired for work, honour the work permit rules.\n8. Last but not the least, be a good citizena and don't do anything which may spoil your countries' image.

Its the visa regimes of sender-receiver mutual look.If India frees up like Thailand then the other nation will also do the same?

To those talking about “civic sense” or that when Indians “learn manners” they will be welcomed - I have a sad fact to tell you. It’s all bull. Behaving like a goody good will only get you more disrespect. If you want your visas approved and respect from others, respect yourself. Hold your passport and your head up high. Leverage your economic strength and demand respect just like China and the west do. Palki is right, whether you like it or not.

This report has a wrong narrative. Reason for the rising number of Visa rejection is that they are not adapting to the countries culture like what happen in Canada.

Palki , you should also consider fake documents that’s submitted for obtaining visas. Over stays , age factors leading to medical expenses , bank balances for surviving those days in a foreign land. Come out with more facts and give a split what sort of visas are getting rejected… not a blanket statement. I like your channel and I follow your articles but this one i don’t agree 100%.

Palkhi as much as I like watching your news your views here need to address real issues. I am a proud Indian who has lived in the UK for over 50 years. However I have to say whilst there are a lot of highly skilled Indian immigrants on work visas who contribute immensely to this country. however we now have a huge community of Indians those who have come over on illegal documents or on holiday visas and then never go back. They end up working in menial jobs or not working at all and perhaps this is an issue India needs to address. Sadly these immigrants will never be an economically contributing asset to this country or any other country and I am not surprised that the visa rate rejection is so high.

Even cambodia is rejecting visas like anything. But its fine.

Have you seen the stupid visa forms for entering India for European citizens? \nStop cribbing when you are making it complicated for Europeans to get a visa.\nAlso, even countries like Thailand do not want Indian tour because of the disgusting behaviour many Indian tourists bringing a bad to name to all Indians.

canada,They are taking money for visa processing,medical,documetation(including ielts exam) ,money transfer to their country banks as financial backups (they say GIC),college tuition in their currency,after submitting I have to wait for long time,\nfinally refused for silly reasons like i can't return to your home country(India).in the end I lose more money as you said .and also transaction fees adds up when we ask tuition fess back.if they reject for silly reasons, now I understand ,why this happening ,its all business and they want us to lose more money.innocent people lose money .

Things not mentioned in here are that number of people applying for foreign visas have increased significantly and number of visas accepted are relatively same. It's a stupid report, obviously the visa rejection will be high if the visa applications are high from a most populated country in the world it's basic common sense , i would say India have the highest visa grant these days, I'm from India came to Australia it's not ecen harf if u have the right documents and if you're not faking anything, I'm pretty sure the rejections are mostly because of fake documents especially from Punjab and Haryana so it's good that they are not letting fake people i mean then what's the point of doing all this right way? Many people think that because they think that they are cleaver enough to circumvent visa interviews, falsify documents required to impress foreign embassy staff, get visa on false pretenses because they have money, connections in domestic government or someone overseas to curry favor them, then no wonder your visa application would be rejected and fees forfeited or you would be turned down entry to your dream country on arrival and deported back to your home country. People even dare to charter a flight to Maxico with a plan to cross the border and into USA, like a flash mob, without a visa. There are several reasons. First off, a few Indians do certain scams that affect the country. Some students from india who apply for student visas dont go to school to study, but instead take advantage of going to work there. Indian dicipline, some countries like europe and singapore complained that indian tourists tend to be rude or dont have proper manners

Simplify cross-border travel and Visas but introduce stricter penalties for default - like immediate blacklisting of passports. That will deter the people who want to unlawfully migrate and let others like us enjoy travel and moving around the globe freely

Government of India must constitute an internal cheking system before any Indian citizen submit any Visa application to another nation. Like this all substandard applications can be stopped internally and external rejection rate, prestige of Indian passport could be managed better ❤❤❤

Palki is being hypocritical about this visa issue. India is the gold medal winner in rejecting Chinese tourists since like last decade. They said that India needs to be protected from Chinese people from knowing how India is really like. Improve trade and cut H4 visas for US as i have no idea on other countries. H4 visa housewives will really depressed in a country like US. because of depression crime rate will be more.? sometimes you wont have any indian friends near by even it has more indian immigrants. Give jobs to indians who are living there for generations. They must have contributed tons of inputs larger foreign trade income etc... Ask their inputs and India should make policies supportive or non supportive to indians. Dont send indians. They will suffer. As a indian we are nice people. help if you see any indians suffering in foreign countries. Please give help line to come back home . lot of movies you see in india shows immigrant suffering. those are all true. dont go unless you are rich and have billions of dollars. Increase jobs/ Salary/ skill training here. also improve immigration policies on other countries where indian immigrants is less. lot of foreign countries have worst weather. It's clearly differentiation west do with Indian passport. I faced many issues with EU visas processing, specially for FR and they never provide clear answer but just sound like reason for eating visa fees.

Stop acting like you don’t know Ms Sharma, visas for Indians are rejected mainly because when you apply for a tourist visa, most of the time you are not really visiting that country. You have plans to settle there. Many people do go to these countries as tourists but they know very well who seems like a tourist and who doesn’t.

I remember when my country Indonesia still gave Indians visa access like everyone else. It was horrible! Our airports were swarmed with unruly and mannerless Indians. They complained to be, discriminated, when they were treated like anybody else. What worse was they called everybody Chinese and made it the reason to fight with them, even with security guards! Everyone look Chinese to them. Such bigoted people were security and stability threat for everyone. They should stay in India since India is already ruined anyway. Unfortunately, there has to be some criteria by which each country has to make a judgement. I do not understand why she is cribbing here. There is this guy who keeps going on international trips and everyone in India for gaga over the importance he brings to India through those trips. What happened? Not working? The category of persons whose VISA’s got rejected should also be discussed. Like students, business, casual travellers etc should provide a better insight.. Also visa rejections due to improper documentation should also be highlighted

The reason for Indian visa being in the 81st rank is the number of people who want to migrate....other countries cannot allow lakhs of Indians who wish to relocate to their country....on the other hand, countries like Kosovo or Burkina Faso are tiny countries by population and have a very low rate of migration to other countries....Indian large-scale migration can be seen as a threat by other countries....

Indians don't need a visa, they can cross the bribed wire like in Texas to jump into the US.

its because they are racist... imagine US, UK, etc grants no visa on their former enemies (like Japan) but demands for visa entry for their former colonies? you cant deny that these former imperialists sees former colonized countries as lint and does not contribute to their economy.... they stole billions of dollars in the past and at they could've grant visa free entry to their former colonies as a way of compensation to the damages that they've made in the past but they didnt.. and when war broke up, they'll ask from these former colonized countries for some soldier to be on the frontline for them because they were allies.. until now they still do some exploits to colonized counties in some other way like establishing manufacturing plant or some establishment hiring cheap labor from these countries, and when you want to visit to these counties they will automatically deny you.. On some point, China gives a better option. They will welcome you with open arms (although they will take advantage of you) but at least you can visit their country easily.

When Americans wants to visit the any country their Visa's will approve immediately but when other country visits America is like going to a war to have your visa approve..

India should stop e-visas for govt employees of countries like the US. Any US citizen who or whose immediate family member is a US govt employee should be asked to queue up at an Indian consulate and given an appointment after 1 year. They should be asked to submit various sorts of documents, submit their passport, wait for 45 days after which depending on the mood of the officer at the consulate, a sticker visa could be issued. This policy should be for OCIs who take up govt job as well.\n\nPS: Egypt had removed Canada from their visa on arrival list after canada began arbitrarily rejecting egyptian visa applications. This has been done in the past

Palki is not able to see the simple reason why Indians face higher visa restrictions...India has the highest number of visa violators. Indians need to stop acting like victims of sovereign countries' visa regimes. You don't like what they do, don't go there.
