Canada is in crisis, politically, economically and financially. Our health care system is hanging on by a thread. The Crime Minister Justa Traitor has served his WEF masters well in dismantling this once great nation. We are hardly in a position to except legal immigrants never mind illegal ones. To anyone who wants to jump the line, break the rules and take up space otherwise desperately needed by law abiding, hard working, life long tax paying Canadian citizens I say, no way Jose!

With all the new changes to immigration rules, I have a few questions. if I am working in health sector as a biomedical technologist, can I apply with LMIA after 3 months of working without waiting for 1 year?

In the 1960's Ontario was conservative and Quebec was liberal. When Justin Trudeau's uncle Pierre became PM he changed the rules of immigration in order to populate Ontario and Toronto with non-British, non European immigrants who would have no ties with their new country and instead worship and support the party that favoured them to harvest votes forever. Now they own our cities and for the millions of self hating white liberals, we have achieved the ultimate in self flagellation, to become strangers in our own land.

I think the Canadian government has made it far too easy for anyone to immigrate. As an Indian living in India, I can attest that many of us look for the easiest way out and often lack a strong moral compass. Many of these individuals have been reluctant to embrace Canadian culture. Corruption may have played a role as well, with some local Canadian colleges and universities admitting students who lacked merit. Given the extreme levels of corruption in India, this is not surprising.\n\nThe root issue lies in the Canadian government’s lack of strictness and vigilance when formulating immigration rules and policies. Many Indians, frustrated with the current government and financial hardships, seek to leave the country in hopes of a better life in the West. While educated individuals follow proper processes, the uneducated often resort to questionable means. In Canada’s case, this negligence on the part of both governments has had unfortunate consequences.\n\nI hope stricter policies and more accountability lead to better outcomes in the future.

If the government really wanted to send them back, the easiest way for this to happen would be to freeze any bank account/work permit, asset after visa expires. This will automatically make a lot of the illegal immigrants leave. Also need to get rid of the rule like usa where a baby is concieved and becomes canadian by default. We don't have ICE, CBSA can't even keep track of anything, this would be the best way to reduce this stupidity the government has gotten Canadians into.

You don'eed a new amendment. The Supreme Court just needs to rule that an illegal immigrant is still under thea jurisdiction of his or her own country. The 14th Amendment was written only to make Foundational Black American slaves and their dependents citizens.

As a Latino immigrant(Canadian Citizen)living in Canada for 23 years I found that many Indian business owners are very dishonest, many times paying very cheap wages and many times stealing money from their employees(stealing hours), I'm a truck driver and I've been ripped off by East Indian trucking companies that didn't pay me my money many times, they are also very unsafe, they don't fix their trucks, they break the traffic rules. Trucking used to be a highly pay job before the Indians started opening their trucking companies and lowering their prices now the whole trucking industry is garbage thanks to the Indians, the news say that there is a shortage of truck drivers ha ha ha is not true what happens is that truck drivers do not wanna work for Indians because they are very cheap and most are crooks at least in the trucking industry. Than God that I've been trucking for a long time so I know which companies are good and I work for a good Canadian company.

Girls, I came here as an international student, I make about 150K year, I pay aournd 45% of my salary in taxes and 2500 in rent, that is unfair. My job comes from the U.S. and now I have to face impossible PR process. Canada needs reforms for sure, but think twice, this is not the only country a highly skilled immigrant can go, the world is big, stop blaming international students for everything, we came here following the rules, and we did not write those rules. To be honest, I am seriously thinking about moving somewhere else including home. I have a nice house, pool and warm weather back home.

I’m an American citizen who was born in the United States (Hawaii). Everyone has the right to support or not support President Trump’s plans for mass deportation. The interviewer asked this Mexican American woman her opinion and she’s entitled to her opinion. There are a lot of Hispanic people who agree with Trump. I don’t think she’s turning her back on her family by saying “it’s okay” if they get deported. I think she’s respecting and supporting the rules of Immigration laws to have legal documentation to live in the United States. Rather than disrespecting and ignoring Immigration laws the way her family did. I think in a way she’s saying “it’s okay” her family gets deported because they deserve to be penalized for breaking Immigration laws for entering and staying in America for 20 or 30 years illegally which is valid and understandable. It comes down to the phrase “You commit the crime you do the time” whether it’s family or not. I believe she has a leg to stand on because she followed Immigration laws, received her Green Card and is living in the United States legally. If a family member of mine committed a crime and were put in jail or deported back to their country I would say “it’s okay” too. You reap what you sow.

Very true, I have only been here for few years and noticed it. Canada immigrants spin the wheel and big bosses just sit back make rules and live on the commission. They just focus on all these dues from the labor. Ridiculously high taxes, union dues, license fee, etc etc… and only few big businesses (whether bank or telecom) monopolizing whole country’s economic and running the government. I'm an immigrant looking to get my PR, I have qualifications from one of the top universities in the world, experience as an international consultant and most important I do respect the Canadian culture and follow the rules. However, even for me it is uncertain what is going to happen? and/or if the government will make more changes and kick us out hahaha. I do believe that immigration has poured a lot of money into Canadian's pockets and most of them are not considering that, some of that money is going to go to another country who is willing to manage immigration with a better approach and provide a more certain perspective to new immigrants. The government allowed many bad actors (locals and foreigners) to take advantage of the system and those who are going to pay the bill are new immigrants due to political elections, and that is just sad. We will see who are they going to blame for mismanagement of public resources and the possible crash of several industries, that are currently relaying on foreign money, once there are no new immigrants to blame. I agree with most of the new rules regarding immigration, but I strongly disagree with the political approach of how the government is blaming immigrants for their lack of proper management. I still believe Canada is a great country no matter the outcome of my personal immigration process, wish you all the best of luck!

Canada practises a dubious standard when hiring.new applicants to various professions, highly qualified and with the necessary requirements stipulated by the Federal Government of CANADA to the skilled labour migration category, such individuals land in Canada with their own reserves. Keeps seeking for employment depleting their own funds and are unable to find employment for months , and then not even. called for interviews at all , are totally ignored despite forwarding more than 100 resumes gazing at the computer screen for more than eigj6 hours. Browsing through the net for job opportunities, confined to a small room at high costs, finally if and when they are been called for one or two interviews at most despite forwarding more than 100 resumes, at the interviews they will be offered lower than the minimum wage for parttime workers. In that case why did the Federal Governments of Canada created a delusion to migrants from around the globe stating that there is an acute labour shortage in certain high demanding job categories, encouraging all such applicants to apply through the Skilled labour Program introduced by the Federal Government of Canada,. as if there are shiploads of opportunities available just for geabs.\nSuch individuals are driven to state of utter despair or forced to get back to their home countries whereas here the federal Government of Canada is granting Asylum to all sorts of unskilled , uneducated and sometimes no literacy nor basic communication skills in English at all at the expense of the taxes and high tuition fees acquired from the student population as well as PR Holders who has incurred massive expenditure through the federal Government's detailed and tough assessment procedures just to gain entry under the stipulated visa categories. I'm also an immigrant, been in Canada for 16 years, came here initially for uni. It's funny that I have no negative feelings towards immigrants from any other countries but India. And I didn't have any negative feeling toward them before I came to Canada, if anything, I only remember something positive my grandma telling me about Indian people being beautiful, that they have big beautiful eyes. After I came to Canada, over the years, based on countless personal experiences dealing with them, sadly my conclusion is 99% of them are bad, 1% are the exception. They are aggressive, rude, stinky, unhygienic, dishonest, always trying to take financial advantage of people or situations to save a few more bucks by being super annoying or cheating, extremely disrespectful and aggressive towards women!! Really nothing is appealing about them. And at a job position, 1 Indian will bring 10 Indians, 10 will bring 100, they are slowly encroaching the environment and taking over everything. Other races try to assimilate into the local culture, while the Indians are imposing theirs onto the local and other cultures. Canada feels like it's turning into a second India. It's lost its politeness, manner, rules etc. I no longer want to live here, I plan to move back to my country after a few years. And I don't really go to Tim Hortons anymore cuz the Indians are taking over all the franchises and lowered the standards of Hygiene and friendliness. I don't think I'm being racist, cuz I'm not having all these negative feelings based on their skin colour or origin. It's purely based on real life experiences in dealing with them.

Murderer from Colombia Released Into U.S. by ICE After Crossing Border Illegally \nMay 22, 2024 \n \nThe recent arrest of Efrain Vidales Vargas, a convicted murderer from Colombia, is another example of the perilous consequences of the Biden administration’s failure to secure our borders. \n \nVargas, who entered the U.S. illegally near Yuma, Arizona, in November 2023, was initially detained but subsequently released by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). \n \nVargas is wanted in Colombia on charges of aggravated homicide, aggravated theft and unlawful possession of a weapon. He was convicted and sentenced to 17 years in prison on September 29, 2016. \n \nICE knew about Vargas’ murder conviction in Colombia and extensive criminal history. An ICE officer on December 11, 2023, even noted his conviction in Columbia, but two days later, he was released with a notice to appear and allowed to roam freely in the United States. So let’s see immigrants walk into our country illegally not following the law of our land, Joe Biden and Camila Harris allow them to do it. This protest is a joke! They know what they signed up for before coming to Canada. Here are some clarifications to note:\n\n\n1. In the last six years, 1.5 million international students brought a minimum of $67,500,000,000 direct cash into the Canadian economy. (Assuming a min $40-45000 per student for 2 year diploma, between to $100,000 - 150,000 for undergrad, and around $50,000 for Masters degrees). Usually, international students have to pay most of this money before applying for the study visa. \n\n\n2. These colleges employ Canadians for their day to day operations. From cleaning, maintainance, administration to teaching, each college operates with approx 20-30million budget. So, more students lead to more employment for Canadians who further pay taxes.\n\n\n3. All students start work straightaway, pay taxes, and do not qualify for social security. They do not qualify for any student loans by Canadian govt or banks. So, they generate revenue for Canada through their work and taxes. The thing that govt LOVES.\n\n\n4. These students become new consumers and their expenditure generate revenues for local businesses.\n\n\n5. Most Colleges would not survive without international students. Which is good in the sense that only quality colleges will survive and other hanky panky colleges would shut down. However, such closures will lead to job losses, bankruptcy when the colleges won't be able to afford their expenses.\n\n\nSo, considering these factors it will be an industry collapse. Govt needs to control immigration. They need to introduce intelligent policies. The steps that current govt is currently taking are politically motivated not rational.

It's Not enough and this was Not Fair! We came here in this country and vetted for 6 years by Immigration and all proper education requirements met. My mom worked so hard to be able to come into this Country when I was 14yrs old, there were Rules and Criteria. Now, it's all a Joke. People can come into Canada without proper oversight and Money works. As long as you have huge sums to pay, they let you in, easily, 3months you get Permanent Resident status, we worked hard for 6 years, even doesn't matter if you're a criminal from back home, they let you in, as long as you have money. No proper Vetting process! What has this Current government done to this once great country? They ruined this whole Canadian immigration dream for everyone. My family feels angry and cheated on! I worked 3 jobs since I came here young upto this day 26 years later, pay my taxes and these 'cheaters' get paid social assistance. Very Shameful Canada!

This isn't just a white or black thing it's an out of control immigration system where people use loopholes in the system to gain residency. This anti-immigration isn't isolated in fact most immigrants who's lived in Canada all their lives have expressed deep concern that the government is letting in too many from one nation and the lopsided admittance is part of the concern. The metrics of the majority of new immigrants come from the Middle East and India how can anyone not notice the concern that many have been expressing for a decade. Canadians aren't against immigrants it's that we didn't expect to just let anyone in without actually knowing how to speak English or have etiquette and follow laws. Many have concerns that many of the new comers can't even speak English yet they have license to drive and how do we get around most bend the rules or the law. Myself I've notice a skyrocketing scam scheme and how can you not equate that to the rise in our broken immigration policy. The last time I heard you had to have certain criteria to be considered to immigrate and why is that some countries like from the South Pacific you need to know English have money in the bank and a skill or degree on a list of acceptable qualifications. So many who can't even read or write English have jobs, drive a car, then to make matters worse have housing yet we have a crisis? Most Canadians see the pattern and most are educated enough to know there is something to be said, loopholes and when they find it they abuse the system.
