As an American I support Canada's stance. They are standing up to a bully and we need more brave leaders to do the same.

You’re doing the right thing, Mr. Prime Minister. As an American Veteran, it breaks my heart that we are treating our closest friends and allies with such contempt. The current U.S. administration is a shameful embarrassment to Americans. I love Canada almost as much as I love my own country. Stay strong and keep standing up to the senile bully in the White House - for ALL of us. ??❤️??

Trudeau has had many accusations thrown at him for many yrs and none of them positive. That said, I for one salute the first world leader to stand his ground, speak the truth and not pander to Trumps bullying strategy. I have not witnessed any other world leader speak in this manner. I’ve witnessed many leaders pandering to an ego that is unbelievably narcissistic and quite simply inexplainable to me. \n\nMr Trump, this is not a reality tv show this is reality! The slogan he created ‘Make America Great Again’ is quickly becoming ‘Making America Alone’.

As a citizen of the U.S. I would encourage all world leaders to stand strong and RESIST these bully tactics to destroy long standing and invaluable allied friendships. More than half of U.S.citizens do not endorse what the orange 'genius' is doing and will do whatever is in our power to stop the madness.
