From a German once living a year in Canada: If you make a Canadian that angry you really messed it up. I couldn't imagine of any better ally to have. You deserve to be treated so much better and such behavior comes from a person shouting for more respect at others. All my love to your beautiful country.

I have always had a great deal of respect for Canada’s government and Canadians. A very calm, stable & friendly country. Well done for standing your ground!

So being canadian means being white only ? All the Europeans that split tithe USA and some in canada because of their disagreements, that may be the culture of the first settlers yes. Times have changed an racist people better get use to changes. The whole earth does not belong to any one color. The Jesuse whites clin to love and worship is Jewish , yeah remember that. As an Indian, I’m embarrassed too with their stubborn behaviour + bad English. Most of them were just to get PR, I myself worked my ass off for more than 3years to get PR. For the vast majority of Americans, including Trump who don't know this: \n- 90% of all aluminum used in the USA comes from Canada. \n- 80% of the potash used to grow food on US farms comes from Canada. \n- Steel is made in Canada. - Uranium is exported from Canada. \n- Minerals needed for electronics are exported from Canada. The only alternatives are China and Russia. \n- 60% of all imported oil in the US comes from Canada. \n- Electricity produced in Canada is delivered to the states of New York, Vermont, Maine and over 20 other US states. We’ll soon find out if convicted felon Trump and his supporters need Canada when that electricity gets turned off. If Trump can rip our mutually-negotiated agreements so can Canada. Canadian here. The tariffs will hurt. And this may just be the beginning of a sprawling trade war, but make no mistake, Canada is not for sale, and Canada, despite its soft spoken nature, is determined to keep going on its own way. We have free trade with the EU and Pacific nations. For any US companies who find themselves caught up in tariffs for their export markets, consider setting up your export shop here, to keep your Canadian customers, and continue to have access to European and Asian markets under free trade agreements that are respected, and operate independently of any decision made by President Trump. Businesses need predictability and stability, and your neighbors to the north can provide that to all of your export markets.

I’m from a south Asian country Living in Canada. I have never found Canadians to be racist towards me or my family. We respect Canadian culture and heritage and we blend in well. Our kids are Canadians. They are not sound Asians. I don’t brain wash them to think any other country is grater than Canada. They have strong Canadian values and will be devastated if someone ever discriminates against them. I have taught them it’s a privilege that they were born in a such a great country and to love and respect their country.

Indian has talent that world needs, so does Cuba have the best doctors in the world. Problem India has it the respect they show when living in other people countries. I live in Canada. A citizen now, love this country but India is and will always be a home. Canada is facing hard times currently, which is being faced by every country now and then but even the cause root of all these problems Canada is facing right now is coming from somehow from India. The most disruptive and disturbing people are here from India only with no civic sense. They come here and do not value the Canadian culture at all. They do all sort of illegal activities and try to do jugaad in everything, from which we escaped from India. Even on political grounds, the man who somehow messed up everything was under the influence and pressure of the man having Indian roots. I love India without a doubt but we can’t deny the real facts why Indians are being hated everywhere. People in my community here ( whites, First Nations, old Indians) love me and my family because they know how we respect the culture and values and laws of Canada. But there, where people don’t know us personally, we get judgemental eyes because of our colour and we know why, it’s not all of us, but still majority of us have destroyed the image of India and yes Indians deserve to be banned now. We need skills and knowledge and we should class apart from the stupid ones.

I've written similar comments elsewhere that were automatically deleted by the person who posted the video, and I found that disheartening. I first want to address the rumour about human feces and dirty diapers being found on Canadian beaches, and I want to stand up for the people who called out Indians for doing this. Somebody saw something. Maybe they weren't able to produce any legal proof of it, but they clearly saw something, and there is nothing racist about them calling out this behaviour. This practice is not only unhygienic. It is ILLEGAL in Canada; so, it absolutely should be called out publicly to prevent it from ever happening again. I have seen many videos about the culture of mass open defection in India. The videos I saw were posted by Indians themselves. One of those videos was a TEDx talk done by a woman named Sangita Vyas who discussed the truth about open defecation and that it is not limited to only the poor population. Even people who can afford to build latrines are not using them, and she explains why after interviewing Indians to ask why. I've watched Indian doctors talk online about how many Indian children die from something as simple as diarrhea every year as a direct result of the water contamination caused by open defecation. So, clearly, open defecation is legal in India, and perhaps some of these people think if it's legal at home then it must also be legal elsewhere. WRONG. It's illegal in Canada. It's unhygienic. It should never happen. Period. And there is NOTHING racist about a Canadian saying this out loud and reminding people that they must follow the rules and laws of the country they are in.

I don't care what anyone says, but Indian people, particularly (Punjabs) don't like to mixed with other cultures at all. They don't integrate with the Canadian lifestyle. While many return home after a few months without success, those who secure jobs often refuse to assimilate. Instead, they create workplace tensions to drive out the locals, and once they got onto managerial positions, often conduct preferential hiring towards people of their own ethnicity / village. \n \nThis trend must stop. \n\n1. Someone who has a desired skill, and are ready embrace other cultures, should apply work visa. \n2. Someone who is a scholar, or geniunely wishes to study in foreign university, should apply student visa. \n3. Someone who is a mediocre opportunist who wants a quick backdoor to a job or permanent residency in other country, should not disguise themselves as a student. \n \n\nNot that hard.

If Canada has strong border security and inspect all those shipping containers it would eliminate 95% of stolen vehicles which has become a massive criminal enterprise in Canada that has led to death, massive insurance increases and rampant crime. Canadians can thank Trump strength for pushing Canada to do the right thing. I can't wait for Pierre to clean house, eliminate waste and fraud, invest in Canada's incredible naturals riches and build a strong Canada that becomes an economic powerhouse. I'm an immigrant looking to get my PR, I have qualifications from one of the top universities in the world, experience as an international consultant and most important I do respect the Canadian culture and follow the rules. However, even for me it is uncertain what is going to happen? and/or if the government will make more changes and kick us out hahaha. I do believe that immigration has poured a lot of money into Canadian's pockets and most of them are not considering that, some of that money is going to go to another country who is willing to manage immigration with a better approach and provide a more certain perspective to new immigrants. The government allowed many bad actors (locals and foreigners) to take advantage of the system and those who are going to pay the bill are new immigrants due to political elections, and that is just sad. We will see who are they going to blame for mismanagement of public resources and the possible crash of several industries, that are currently relaying on foreign money, once there are no new immigrants to blame. I agree with most of the new rules regarding immigration, but I strongly disagree with the political approach of how the government is blaming immigrants for their lack of proper management. There are 13 different cultures and societies associated through a federation with a central government in Ottawa. Every province is unique in its politics, social programs, even cultural events. Not every province and territory celebrates the same holidays, memorials or statutory holidays.\nPeople in Newfoundland are as different from the rest of Canada as the Scots and Irish are in their homelands. Alberta has cowboys, BC has sailors, Saskatchewan has wheat and Manitoba has the Guess Who and mosquitos. Ontario is just arrogant, Quebec is just Quebec. There is NOTHING Canadian about Quebec. If they had it their way they would have been independent since the 1750s. They don't even like to speak English. They do it out of obligation to the federation. \nThe Maritimes are again, unique unto themselves. They could easily be an independent nation and then their true culture would shine. Why they practically speak a different language. Covid was just starting to get under control but many still needed treatment and BOOM, the population went from 30 million in 2014 to over 40 million in a decade, most of it in the last 3 years. Maybe...but ultimately it is a complete lack of planning! Still 99 percent of Canadian born do not blame Iindividual ndians for this. There are now Indian gangs, particularly Punjabi gangs because of lack of oversight, and while they are small they are constantly committing crimes, selling drugs, shooting people all in the last few years. I hear gun shots nightly in my ethnically mixed neighbourhood, and we are all afraid to walk at night. Unfortunately the people arrested are mostly from continental India. As an indian living in Dubai. If I feel a place was overcrowded- I would leave, but for some indians its not the same and its quite sad some politicians thinking a densely populated city full of jobless people is okay. Its kind of the opposite reason why indians move to canada(because most of us dont like overecrowded cities-which tends to happen in india). The amoumt of jobs need to increase. The infrastructure needs to increase. Colleges and schools where people actually pay for all of it is necessary. And homelessness needs to be replace by education and housing policies for older canadians especially. Preserving the respect for the elderly. The list goes on- and yes it will increase the amount of jobs, if they build and educate. Also increase the incentive to be educated.

I can tell you one of the major reasons. It is the fact that these immigrants from India do not want to assimilate into Canada. Instead they bring their ways with them into Canada and some of those “ways”, are not acceptable in Canada. One example of that is the whole using the bathroom on the beach. It takes three months the just for me to see her… If I have an emergency and have to call 911, the ambulance will take me up to the local ER and then I will be wheeled out to the waiting room, which defeats the purpose of me calling 911 for a ambulance. I have waited two days at the local ER just to see a doctor. So here is where it affects the immigrants coming in. If a Canadian that was here before you is already having major issues with the healthcare, then I can only imagine how hard it will be for a new citizen to our country, nuff said really… the local er near me had a person die in the waiting room this past January. Hello Sir, with due respect: i am an international student from INDIA, you are always welcome to stay in any of the 30 provinces in India! My question to you is, if an International student is spending 7000 cad each semester and completing a 2 yr program with total fee paid 28000 to 35000 CAD excluding the exorbitant rent like 1500 per month and grocery and personal tax, would definitely wish to get back some of the money they invested here in Canadian land, am i right? Would you be thinking the same way if you invest in India? Secondly, none of the employers are offering any white collar job or office job to these students unless otherwise they have Permanent Residency status here in Canada: the only way to get “PR” is to work for some pizza store or tim hortons- its not by choice, only jobs you have here in Canada for any students and now construction field too. So kindly don’t judge any international student from any part of the world on their skills. All we need is a way out by Planning our future.
