This American is 100% ashamed of, and embarrassed by, the actions of our government toward our own people and our allies and of course our dear friend Canada. My cohorts hope and pray we can regain our sanity as a country and return to a nation of good values, not one governed by greed and hate.

I am an American standing for Canada, the Ukraine and Mexico you are our friends and allies. I can’t believe my country is doing this.

As an American I personally apologize to my Canadian and Mexican friends. Please know 3/4th of America love you. We’ve just been hijack by racists and haters.

Maga people think Trump is their friend. Canada and the US have been friends for 150 years as long as he thinks people have been collecting social security. Now that trump is in office a heel turn, actually he was always the villain turns the Americans friends and sides with American enemies. At this point if you still follow him you've got stockholm syndrome.

I believe Americans must stop this fool. In my opinion he is desperately trying to destroy what took 80 years to make. Many people seem shocked that the US is acting this way towards its “closest ally.” Let’s not forget that in the days and weeks following 9/11, when a town like Gander, Newfoundland took in thousands of Americans when airplanes were grounded, the US was initially blaming Canada for its lax border and immigration laws in allowing terrorists into the US. They even suggested a number of the Al-Qaeda terrorists in those airplanes had entered from Canada! ? We seem to be an easy target for our ‘close’ friends sought of the border.

Gen. Wesley Clark is somebody that, i have respected for over thirty years. Even Gen. Clark has expressed his displeasure over the way the Trump administration has threatened Canada with unfair tarrif's, on US'S closest ally and neighbour. It is obvious that Putin is manipulating Trump so as to isolate the US from its traditional friends and alies, as US credibility will decline internationally. Tarrif's will bring higher prices to American manufacturers and consumers and bring higher unemployment to Americans.

I still can't believe that we are being attacked by our best ally. The country that is supposed to represent freedom. The US administration is behaving worse than Russia. The EU and North American allies have been abandoned and assaulted. The vacating of the leadership position in the free world will be taken advantage of by other countries. A message to Trudeau. Put an export tax on the Oil and Electricity sold to the United States. Open up new European Markets for Oil and Natural Gas product and sell directly to Europe and Japanese markets. China needs oil, there is plenty of market around the world for our products. The Tariff's imposed by Trump is only going to make product to the US more expensive for their own citizens, and with Tariff's on all American imports, if they can't make it, or they don't have the raw materials to make it themselves, they will have to pay more. It is not necessary to impose Tariff's on USA Products to penalize Canadians, but Canadians will find new markets to replace the US, and we won't even notice it happened. We have alternatives. The southern islands are great vacation locations, and with the weather disasters they have suffered over the past few years, they could use the tourist support to help rebuild, and, their people are friendly and don't carry guns.

Canadian here, my grandfather died fighting the Nazi's during WW2 in the Raid on Dieppe and is buried in France. Trump (The Evil One) and Musk are Nazi's. Maybe building a Boarder Wall on America's Northern Boarder would be a good idea. Canada is responsible to guard our boarders and allow in only those who we feel qualify. What you have done is put signs on our shelves, buy Canadian. You have taken American Product from the top shelf, to the verry bottom shelf, behind the Made in China. You have closed the Travel Agencies to United States travel, nobody wants to go to your country, and I heard that there is going to be a 250% Tariff on hotel accommodations for Americans visiting Canada. It is not only about the Tariffs on Canada, who Used to be your friends, it is about your new friend Russia, who support Terrorist organizations all over the world, including the ones in Gaza who held Americans Hostage, who supports IRAN who supports Russia in murdering and raping women, kidnapping children in Ukraine, torturing and murdering citizens with their hands tied behind their backs. As an American, I am so Proud of President Trump! If my neighbors in Canada had done what was right and stopped the flow of fentanyl from coming into Canada and flowing into my country, little Justin wouldn’t be crying right now in front of a camera. As an American, I am totally appalled that Donald Trump is our elected president putting himself & his selfish agenda ahead of the American people. When will the Western leaders wake up, they still talk about friends. Trump is not a friend. Trump looks up to Dictator and it is clearly his big dream to make the US the same type of regime, he does nothing but tell the less intelligent Americans that Putin etc. are not the bad guys, they need to get used to the idea that that type of regime is a good thing.
